Best KOA I’ve been to…been to 25 approx across NA. Clean…all the amenities. Highly recommend

From the time we arrived until we left, we were treated royally. We had vehicle problems on the first night and had to cancel. They were very understanding. There were several things to do during our stay, including an ice-cream social and a BBQ. When we used a paddle boat, Charlene, one of our camp advisors, was very friendly and accommodating. She assisted my wife in and out of the boat.

We love it there. Have been there many times. There is only one suggestion that could make it better. Please change your quiet time from 10 to at least 11. We had music on and at 7 minutes past 10 we were asked to turn our music off. It was done nicely but the park was still alive with kids playing and such.. 10 is too early. And it’s the only park I know of that has a 10 quiet time.

We have stayed in KOA’s from British Columbia to Newfoundland and this has to be the best location yet. Everything from the sites to the dog park to the pond, trails and recreation has been absolutely spectacular. The care, cleanliness and pride in the park are truly evident.

SHOULD NOT MIX TRAVELERS WITH LOCALS ON PARTY. NEIGBOURS SPOKE LOUDLY, KID GOING ON OUR SITE, AT ONE POINT 4 CARS IN FRONT OF THE TRAILER AND THE MORINING WHEN THEY PACK UP, ONE CAR IN FRONT OF OUR SITE.

Stayed in the Dome, it was beautiful and the site was nice and private but the hot tub was disgusting. Doesn’t seem like it was well maintained & there was a lot of gunk floating in the water. Other than that we love KOA and the washroom facilities are well kept

Fantastic amenities at the park. Wish we would have chosen a tenting site that was a little bigger and had an electrical hookup though. We will definitely be back again.

We had an amazing time with our kiddos! Such a beautiful place and very family oriented place with lots to do! Our campsite was perfect! Love the texts about special events and the staff were all very kind and helpful! It was a GREAT weekend and we will most definitely be back!

It was the 2nd time we stayed at KOA Norris Point. It is conveniently located to explore Gros Morne National Park and has clean washrooms and showers. The pond is very lovely. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Thank you for all the efforts you put in to keep us campers happy.

Overall We loved our stay! The staff were helpful and the queer/trans flag-welcome sign at the entrance set our family at ease from the start. The pond/ camp grounds were well maintained & the shop was well stocked. The only issue was that the site we moved to for the last 2 nights of our 7 stay (site 26) had an awful smell from the surrounding marsh. We wouldn’t stay in that specific site again

Found some of the staff not friendly , was clean lots to do for the small kids . Had a mussel boil up for Labour Day I was suprised that they charged the guests for the food .

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

During our Labour Day Weekend celebrations, campers had the opportunity to enjoy, free hotdogs, cake and ice cream. We did charge for pop/water and mussels. Sorry you didn't enjoy your stay.

Our RV site was spacious, clean, attractive with plants and shrubs, and well maintained. Check in and out was easy. The price is reasonable. Staff are very courteous and friendly. We will definitely stay at this KOA again.

The four of us stayed for 3 nights and it was so lovely. Excellent amenities that were always very clean and well stocked. Quiet campground and lots of frogs. :) Jesse checked us in and he was fantastic. So helpful and friendly! We’re looking forward to coming back next year.

Love staying at the KOA in Gros Morne! Always an enjoyable time. The staff are great, the campground is lovely! My only recommendation is that the bathrooms get cleaned more than once a day. By morning the bathrooms are really dirty from usage.

Our first KOA experience in Norris Point certainly raised the bar for future RV trips. The facilities are impressive, staff very friendly and accommodating and the scenery was spectacular. Would highly recommend this camp ground.

Perfect!!! I loved the fenced in dog playground .. it was clean, the grass was great and the things for the dog to play on were a bonus. We visited the puppy playground 2 to 3 times a day. The washrooms and showers were always spotless.

It was lovely. The site was clean and spacious. The staff were fantastic. There was so much for my son to do and he met new friends even. It was great and we look forward to coming back next season - it was our first experience but won’t be our last

Et vous avez beautiful? Location Central located to activities at grossmoor and the harbors. A drive of about 55 minutes to the tablelands. And Pearl River our site although we had booked it months before was beside the dump station and garbage bin. So from a rating of site selection I would give it a one star. One all the stuff were very nice and friendly with the exception of one the middle-aged man who I will call the traffic director. He seemed to have zero tolerance for anything amiss including our shortcut from the main entrance to our site beside the dumping station. I will say he was a little on the arrogant side which was uncommon for our entire trip to meet someone that aggressive.

Terrains de camping super bien tenu. Toutes leurs installations sont plus que propres. Les randonnées dans le parc du Gros morne tout près. Nous avons beaucoup aimé.
