Campground is great. Weather was not so much. I like the small town it's located near.

Was very nice to leave my paperwork out as we didn't arrive until 8:30 pm. Site was found with no issues in the twilight. Lol. Loved watching the sheep graze in the early morning before departure.

Million dollar views!! Level gravel lots. No grill. Looked like a fair amount of full timers there. Not quite at Holiday level yet. Should be rated as a KOA Journey until they get more amenities . It is tucked back in the country on small farm roads away from any major highways. So drive slow. The residents do not mind!!! Once you get there, it is beautiful.

We loved this peaceful campground with lots of room. The people who own it are super nice

We enjoyed our stay. The campground is very spread out and has a beautiful lush lawn. We asked for a site away from the more crowded area and were very pleased with our site. Christian, in the office was super friendly and helpful. He went above and beyond. Thank you!

We were on site #29. Totally beautiful. It was the perfect overnight stop and I wish we could have stayed a couple of more days It's on our list of campgrounds to re-visit on our next road trip. Thank you!!! Rich & Kate

It was a great long weekend with friends! This campground is nice and quiet which is what we all had hoped for. Lovely Floyd County views. We would come back.

By far one of, if not thee, best KOA we’ve ever stayed at. Incredibly beautiful campgrounds and facilities, great access to the Blue Ridge Mountains and the country side is just beyond words. The staff was also extremely gracious, hospitable, and helpful. Truly loved our stay here… We will for sure be back as often as we can!

Our stay was so amazing, we extended a night to spend more time here. The people were friendly and it was quiet. It felt like a hole in the wall kind of find, we will definitely be back! 10/10 recommend!

Please keep this the low-key place that it is and don’t commercialize and plasticize the place. Would love to see this campground adopt dark skies policies and reduce WiFi availability. Please keep camping camping, and not ‘Kamping’.

Excellent camp sites, very clean, just super nice experience all around. Plus if you enjoy gravel cycling the opportunities are endless.

This campground was absolutely fantastic. The office staff was so professional but yet so friendly and family like I felt like I was camping with family. The views from the campground are absolutely beautiful. It’s quiet and peaceful. We will definitely go back several more times..

Beautiful and well equipped campground and friendly staff but: $60+/night was mighty pricey for a self-contained camper trailer in a field with no water, electric, or sewer hookups, let alone picnic table or fire ring — and then the dump fee on top of the $60/night.

Great location! I love how it wasnt overly developed it felt like a campground. The staff at checkin were very nice and made me feel right at home. I look forward to coming back again soon.

We weren't aware that the campground had just recently been acquired by KOA. This explained the lack of KOA entrance signage or signage on the main road on the way. The cabin wasn't the cleanest. Absolutely no outdoor furniture but when we asked for a table one was brought over. The camp host was very nice but this campground is a good year or more away from being comparable to other KOAs.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Absolutely beautiful setting. Our only complaint was that the restrooms were outdated, but this campground has been there for a long time and apparently fairly recently converted to a KOA, so I would guess that they will probably be upgrading soon. We would definitely go back.

We wanted to stay in a cabin for a few days just to get away and relax. This campground was very quiet and refreshing.

Enjoyed that it is in a very isolated and remote location. Excellent location to get to tons of hiking! Sites on upper level are large and spacious, but a very long walk to get to small bathrooms. Expect mud, as they do not allow any door mats laid on grassy sites.

Nothing to do at the campground. But if you’re going to Floyd for an event it is a nice place to stay. I went up there to go to Buffalo Zip Lines. That was a great experience. Recommend that for all ages

We had a great time at this campground. It was very quiet, and the people that we did see were friendly. The gentleman in the office was also very nice, and even though there was not much to do in the area he was familiar with it and didnt mind sharing with us what was close by.

We stayed in one of the cabins with full amenities. Cabin was spotless and perfect for our stay. Camp Manager is a great guy, friendly and always so helpful. We have stayed here with our RV as well. A perfect location to stay and go to Floyd County store music!!

I had a good experience making the reservation over the phone, very straightforward. Doing a late arrival seemed to go well too. I was very happy with the campsite, and very happy with the cleanliness of the bathhouse. The campground location was perfect, lots of nature, and very quiet, exactly what I was looking for.

It was super easy to check in, the sites were open and plentiful. (Off season). The bathrooms were clean, if a little dated.

We were quite surprised that this park was a KOA by the state of the RVs in the park. A couple of the spots legitimately look like a junk yard held together by tarps. Our pull through was not cleaned before we got there, lots of trash in the fire pit and dog poop all over the site. The dog park was full of dog poop as well, not knit-picky a couple piles, dozens of piles making it hard to walk.

Absolutely loved staying there. It's so beautiful and peaceful. The host was awesome at working with us and extremely nice. I would recommend anyone to give it a little visit themselves

We had to move from the tiny home to a deluxe cabin because of a water issue and the deluxe cabin was nice. Christian that checked as in was awesome & very helpful. However, the shower was not very warm. Basically cool or luke warm. The cabin is advertised as well equipped kitchen but I found a few things missing: vegetable peeler, toaster, sheet pan to use in the oven, can opener & cutting board

We stayed at Floyd's Blue Ridge Parkway KOA for about a week, and it was a wonderful place to decompress and escape the hustle and bustle. We had site #6, which, in our opinion, might be the best spot in the park! The views and peaceful setting made it easy to relax. There are some full-time residents, but they weren't near our site. An event was happening during our stay, and there was still plenty of room for everyone without taking away from our experience. Downtown Floyd was just a few minutes away, making it easy to head into town and explore. The staff was friendly, although staffing and the store's offerings were limited. This is a rural campground, so come with realistic expectations for amenities and services. The main office was open during normal business hours. Our only hiccup was a package delivery—we were unable to pick it up because it apparently went to the mailbox instead of the office. The bathhouse looked average, though we didn't use it. We did use the laundry facilities and appreciated being able to pay through an app—very convenient! Overall, this is a great spot to slow down, enjoy the views, and unwind. Outside of event times, it's a quiet, quaint getaway, and we really enjoyed our week here.

I only stayed for one night and thats my biggest regret. This is by far my favorite koa minus the scary roads it took to get there The sites are spacious and quiet. The bathroom is spotless. Theres not much to do here but be immersed in nature and thats exactly what I camp for. Blue skies during the day and beautiful star lit skies at night. I didn't meet the staff because I got there a little late but there was a guy cutting grass there that was very nice and helpful. Im definitely coming back for a longer stay! Oh, i stayed on site 2 and it was almost perfectly level. Definitely my idea of a Holiday!
