Noisy-right between railroad tracks and I80. The train honked his horn every 2 hours, and the trucks hitting the rumble strips from the freeway, it was not a restful night.

Not a usual KOA. The entire place is deep sharp gravel. No place to walk the dogs. Right on a busy road so it was really noisy. Positives were: easy after hours check in (once I found the entrance) The place was clean. Price was good. Other than that not much appealed to us. Just a place to stay the night.

Clerks need to go to school for customer service, not only to serve bar clients but also to serve incoming clients that need camping spot. Planning on cancelling my KOA membership.

The location to downtown activities was great. The park itself was clean and well maintained. We only went into the lounge area once and didn't stay due to the cigarette smoke.

Friendly staff. Liked the Bar & Grill! Why no KOA Elko $2 stickers? Need to get them. But we enjoyed our short stay. Will stay again!

This isn't a regular KOA. The KOA front desk is in a restaurant. No help available for issues. There is NO cable or WIFI! The highway noise makes sleeping impossible. The bar/restaurant isn't smoke free as stated. The front desk is unattended after 4pm. Sites are extremely close together, our slide was so close the the camper next to us they had a hard time getting out their door.

I called to make a reservation. The person who answered the phone was very rude. She said we are full..I said the website showed availability...she snapped we are full and hung. WIFI doesn't work, cable doesn't work. Attendant always in bar. Attendant had a screaming match with a man on parking lot....so much more to tell..not enough characters...it was awful!

Absolutely horrible experience. Entire grounds are rock. Dog park was size of a kennel. Friends got wrong site didn’t move them. No WiFi. Code was wrong. Difficult to find the person on duty. She was always in the bar. Not personable at all. The only bright spot was one dark haired girl that was filling in for a few hours. This campground does not represent the KOA brand. Very disappointed

Nice clean campground. My complaint is with the sewer hookup. It is 6 inches off the ground and uphill from the site. By the time I put an elbow on top of it, It's above my drain valve level. I have a class A and the tanks are set low between the frame rails. Poop doesn't flow uphill. the sewer connection's should be flush with the ground.

Ester who checked us in and runs the bar was amazing. We will stay here again and again with this kind of amazing customer service. FYI if you bookthe least expensive sites they are further from office and bathrooms and much narrower sites. Chose upgraded sites definitely worth the upgrade. Men’s bathroom was recently updated with newer modern colored tile. Women’s restroom clean but date

I am a seasoned KOA camper on road trips- and this is BY FAR the cleanest, quietest, nicest KOA I have visited in the western states. Thank you for such a clean shower and bathroom! Really fabulous amenities!

This campground is located in an industrial area near train tracks, roads, and businesses. It was clean and level and served it’s purpose as a place to bed down.

Elko has lots of cool places to visit, as we arrived early afternoon and finally had time to explore a town that had only been a transit stop before. This KOA is fine, though they have substituted a dive bar for the usual swimming pool. If you can, visit the Northeastern Nevada museum and the Stray Dog bar while in town (Great food & drink for reasonable prices)

We had an emergency and had to leave a day early. I left three messages and no one called me back. I finally got a hold of them and was told I needed to give them a couple days notice as it said in the contract and refused to refund me for one night. we have stayed there many times in the past years, but will not stay there again.

Nice larger LEVEL sites. Clean, great grassy area by each site. Good price and location. Amy in the bar casino was awesome too.

We arrived at 630pm and no person was there to check us in. We had to enter a conjoining bar to ask where KOA campers signed in. The bartender was nice and told me to check the board in the back room to find out what site we were assigned to. We generally feel very welcomed at KOA campgrounds, but we never saw a KOA employee. All other KOAs we have stayed in were family friendly.

Our sleep was major distracted by the Highway that is across the street from the resort. Also no luxuries like most KOAs. No pool, you have to pay for the pool tables, no picnic area. It’s fine if you’re staying for a place to sleep and then process the next day but not my opinion of a vacation park.
