I stay at a lot of koa’s first time I ever walked into a KOA to find myself at a bar. Your camp really sucks

Nice campground and friendly people but site that they gave us was not even close to level. I expect to have to adjust some but 4 1/2 inches low on passenger side makes the first step about 10 inches. Also sites are too short for the units they try to put in.

This was a great park for a couple of days stay, close to gas and grocery stores very well maintained on the KOA side of the campground with clean restrooms and laundry. The office was combined with a bar & grill and a smaller 2nd long term campground on the left side of the check in office. The KOA entrance was not well marked so it was a bit confusing. But a great visit.

If you need a place to plug in for the night it’s ok. Part of this KOA is a local bar. As in locals. If you get an eco space plan on walking up (or down) and around the camp to get to the bathrooms. Would make sense to have a walkway through middle. Cleaners that I saw at 6am were vary nice and kept the bathrooms vary clean.

KOA with a restaurant/bar—so convenient! Lizzy checked us in and doubled as our waitress/bartender; Cash cooked us delicious cheeseburgers. Great service and food. This KOA Journey is the perfect place to stop for a night or two when traveling through Nevada.

Our need was a good, clean, safe spot for the night to split the drive through Nevada, and we wanted electrical plug. Elko KOA had all that and the staff was great.

Not the place to go if you are tent camping. Terrible pads. Extremely small. Smashed over into a corner of the property. ZERO grass. In all fairness, they probably do not have a lot of demand for tent spots here. The RV spots all looked very nice.

This KOA was not one of the best we have been to. The WiFi was terrible. There is no pool or hot tube. The KOA is right next to highway and train so nights were loud. Also the dog area was like a 4x4 gravel square. Not impressed

I stayed at this KOA for one night to do laundry as I traveled. Got in about 6:30 and was told the laundry closes at 7. The bar and grill in the same building stay open much later, but the laundry closes at 7. That being said, everything was clean and hook ups easy. There was not a lot of noise from the bar and grill. There is a laundermat in the town close by.

This KOA was acceptable. Arriving after hours and a white board note to “pick a spot. The spots were generally nice, with a rarity in NV-a small patch of green grass for each site. The campground was in good shape, clean and quiet. KOAs aren’t what they used to be. So many full timers you feel out of place. And the cost to stay is getting comparable to a night at a budget hotel.

Very complete site - playground for the kids, fire pits in the spots, good store and bar/restaurant on site. Great view of the humbolt river from the site, and very easy access. Only downside is the office closes early and you need to have the bar tender check you in - and she wanted to talk to the customers instead of check us in. Had to wait a long time.

We had an emergency where we were going to be driving though town and my hubby needed to go to the ER. This campsite was incredible and got us a spot to place our camping trailer for the night. I'm forever grateful for their concern and kindness.

Nice and clean. Nice grass area for each spot. Nice pull through. Showers good. Handicapped accessible bathrooms. Nice concrete pad with gravel. Trees and shade. Can’t do much about highway noise but loved the sound of the trains.

Investing in more “grass islands” and trees would help, too much like a gravel parking lot. It would be nice if there were some place an owner and their dog could go to escape the heat…,,

Late arrivals are directed to find their name and site number on a whiteboard inside, which works but feels somewhat makeshift. Kamp K9 consists of three 8x8 gravel stalls, which is functional but fairly basic compared to dog areas at other KOAs I've visited. The overall experience felt less refined than what I've come to expect from the KOA brand. I'll look for other options in the future.

Facility was great except the shower water was cold. My husband and I have stayed at 19 KOAs this summer. Every worker has been polite and pleasant, EXCEPT FOR THE PERSON AT THE ELKO KOA. She acted angry, said she would not give me credit for my points, rudely shoved the xeroxed map paper at us and walked away. No name tag, just a logo shirt from the adjacent bar.

Very nice site with a grassy area and shade. Campground was very well maintained. Staff was friendly. Will definitely stay there again.

Love the patches of grass with picnic tables and firepits between sites. Very relaxing. The dog area is somewhat lacking, just 3 small pens with gravel. But overall a great stay!

Nice park, but desk staff was also asked to bartend in saloon attached. Long wait for desk service. Also, over half of dryers in laundry were out of order.

The tent set up area consisted of mulch, on top of sharp rocks, on top of gravel. incredibly difficult to nail in any type of stakes. The shelves were bare except maybe 4-5 random items. It also presented as more of a bar than what I'm used to at a KOA.

It’s alright for a one night stay. It had grass and trees. Full hookup and it was quiet. Spaces were on the small side.

Put us in a gravel pit 6-29 and 7-7 no table no concrete no lawn. Very noisy due to the hi way-no need to set your alarm as the train will wake you at 430 am-never again

Great stay with the exception of the camp k9 -which is small 8x8 pens with gravel rock. No where for dogs to stretch out. Would suggest male one big one with grass which is cooler on the pups feet! I did enjoy having the grass patch next to our campsite though.

We booked this KOA at the last minute and it didn't disappoint. It was a very hot day in Elko and all our hookups worked perfectly and the site was level and clean. We would definitely stay here again.

Shower pressure was low so was not able to wash my hair. It’s a basic RV camp. The WiFi at every KOA I have stayed at has lousy WIFi. They say they offer WIFI but the strength or quality doesn’t allow you to use our computer or browse on internet on your phone

4th of July office and laundry and bar were closed by the time we checked in at 3:00 pm Our spot was so narrow the sewer dump for the spot beside us was 2 ft from our camper. There were many nicer spots empty and we were only spending 1 night so no reason to relegate us to the “no grass or picnic table spot” except we were a 30 ft class C

We reserved 2 nights in an economy space. We extended twice for a total of 4 nights. Staff was very accomodating and didn't have to move us around. they had a modestly supplied store of essential RV parts. I found what I needed. There is also a cafe on the premises with a seperate space for families and bar with some gambling. The food was great. The staff was very friendly.

I am surprised this can pass for a KOA campground, which are usually much better. The set up of the spaces is odd. There are very few shade trees. The bathrooms are old and need repairs. Also the bathroom fan has black mold on it and looks very old and dirty. Some of the staff are nice and helpful. I hope we don't have to stay here again.

This site is unsuitable for tents. Clearly a few token tent sites were added in a gravel parking lot, no shade, no windbreak. Tent stakes are useless, they provide eye bolts to tie a tent down. Probably a fine stop for an RV. If you have a tent, keep driving.
