We had a great stay! We were in the deluxe cabin, and it was very nice. The cabin was cozy, everything was clean, and the campground itself was very nice. Our one complaint is that our cabin’s water had an unbearable and horrible sulfur smell. We were unable to use any water in the cabin and walked to the bath house instead. My guess is a filter issue, which I hope will get resolved!

It was great as always

Great location, great facilities, and friendly staff. A friend and I decided to do one last camping trip for the season, and got a small cabin to share--it was perfect size. Came with a fridge, tv, and space heater! We had a late check-in, but everything was waiting for us and the staff was very friendly. Thanks!

Stayed in the Shipshewana cabin. It was so cozy, clean and comfortable. The loft was really cool. Everyone we met that worked there was super friendly. We had a wonderful time!

Cabin was clean, and was thankful a small heater that was provided. Staff was very friendly and informative.

The facilities were well kept and I like the different options. I stayed in a cabin with electricity and it was great, although I wasn't able to use the wifi as it wouldn't stay connected. The only reason I didn't give a 5 star rating is the proximity to a busy intersection, used extensively by trucks. It did get quite noisy at times.

No air conditioner which isn’t working. The very last night, it was very very hot so two persons included myself left in the middle of the night

It was a great quick vacation. Everyone was super nice. We live in the area and still come here for a vacation. Lots of things to do for little kids.

Great place, just one night as I was passing thru but one of those areas I want to go back and spend more time visiting.

I usually tent camp at KOA; w/ a storm incoming, I upgraded my reservation to a cabin (~$110). The cabin surfaces were clean, but there were apparent stains on the couch pillows, the sliding door blinds, several blood spots on the pillows in the main bedroom. It felt so grimy that I brought in my own sleeping bag & pillow. For what I spent, I could/should have stayed at a hotel. Very disappointed.

Loved this place. Staff so friendly and deluxe cabins are tucked away in a shady spot. So many things to do in the area: Middlebury fall festival, Das Dutchman Amish dining, quilt gardens along the heritage trail. Fun times!

My family was extremely happy and enjoyed our stay

Cabin was very nice and clean. Water pressure was excellent in the showers. Queen bed was not made up no biggie but would have been nice. My one major dissapointment was no blackout curtains on any windows. Blinds worked but did not darken. Lightening storm during the night ( 1 a.m) lit the cabin up. Also going to bed early was a struggle. Thanks Gary Rothon

Next to a loud busy road. Not relaxing at all. Showers (in women) bathrooms were very tight and need badly updated. Cabins are a little too close. Can hear neighboring cabins complete conversations. Also, playground right in middle of cabins. Felt it could be off to side somewhat. However, staff were very friendly and welcoming. But most likely won't be back.

We had a cabin with a bathroom. The water faucet in the bathroom did not work. The mattress was absolutely horrible. The linens and towels were in bins under the bunk but it would have been nice if they told us that. The bathroom door was weird, the cable tv was limited. When we stay at other KOAs the bed is made, soaps are provided and it feels welcoming.

The only drawback was the traffic noise. Very loud. Other than that, was great, clean bathrooms, cute cabin and friendly staff.

Had a wonderful stay with our 2 grandsons! Enjoyed the pool, fishing in the campground pond with lots of bites, walking around and the friendly personnel! Our cabin was clean and comfortable! Our second time there and will definetly be back!

This location is billed as a "Holiday" but does not require a minimum two-night stay, since I travel as a "Journey". They have a Kabin that had better accessibility and I could park near the entrance due to a walking disability. I've stayed here multiple times and would again.

Very friendly staff. Well maintained. Sites typical of KOA. Stayed for one night on way west. Very quiet on a Saturday night in early May. I recommend if you need a quick overnight or a longer stay in the area.

This KOA campground in Indiana was a lovely surprise on what could have otherwise been a disappointing spring break. After our initial plans to head south and Camp with another family were cancelled due to severe thunderstorms, we looked into what else was open for camping closer to the great lakes area, and found this campground. A couple calls later and we were all set and arrived and I have a hard time putting into words how wonderful the staff is. They're genuinely friendly and very helpful! Fortunately the campground was nearly empty and we were able to get two nice sites together so we could be next to our camping friends and we all had a great time. While tent camping would probably be OK too, our small travel trailer was perfect. There were some HUGE travel trailers there, quite possibly the biggest I've seen. But there are a lot of pull-through sites to accommode that and all the sites have a mostly-level drive. There are cabins too but we didn't look into the details of those. The kids enjoyed riding bikes up and down the camp road, and there was a little pond which offered license-free catch-and-release fishing. I was not prepared for this (and even more surprised when my son said he wanted to put down his electronics and go fishing with his friends!) so I had to drive a few miles into town and buy a rod and hooks and worms at a local sports shop. My son even caught his first fish! And our friends daughter stayed occupied catching garter snakes. Not that I'm a huge outdoorsman, but it was a very nice parent moment to see all the kids off their electronics participating in nature. There's restaurants and a great donut shop nearby and lots of horse and buggy traffic from the local Amish population. This was nice as it gave us a chance not to gawk, but rather to discuss with our children about different lifestyle choices and possible rewards/challenges associated with that, and hopefully instilled some acceptance of other people's choices. There are a couple nice hiking trails on the campground as well. They're perfect for just taking a stroll through the woods with one little hill to contend with, and a little minigolf course for the kiddos to play on a bit. There is also a fenced in dog run for Fido to do his business off-leash, just please pick up after your pet. I cleaned a lot of old dog-logs just so I/my dog didn't step in it, and was rather irritated that dog owners wouldnt have done that themselves. I imagine in high summer when the campground is packed, it might not be as ideal for a quiet camping trip, but that also opens up more chance for social interaction and those quirky little temporary camp friendships that kids are so adept at creating, so I bet it'd still be fun, just in a different way. Overall I recommend this KOA (more than any other KOA or certain picnic basket stealing bear campgrounds I've been to in the past!), and will likely return, even if theres no other cancelation to drive the necessity. It was just a good time.
