The camp ground was very nice and well maintained. the pool was great! We stayed in one of the cabins, it was a nice layout but was not very clean and had a bad musty smell in it. we would of asked to be moved but we were right next to my parents that were in a rv site so we didn't want to move.

We were very happy with our cabin, Emma. Now would like to come back and see what the other ones look like. Pool nice and clean, the staff all very friendly. My little granddaughter disappointed that there were no pedal boats to rent, probably should update the website. Other than that we were both very happy with our stay.

Rented one of the bigger cabins (Shipshewana and Topeka in the NW Corner of property) as the details stated it had a bathtub and I have a 1 yr old I don’t want to take to the public shower. Get there, Shipshewana does not have a tub so I go ask staff and they say Topeka had one. Switch over, still no tub and the master room smelled terribly of cat urine. Told staff and the young male was rude.

A nice campground....however.... the fan in the cabin could not be used as the cords controlling off/on were missing. The washrooms were not clean and I doubt they were being monitored by staff. It was not possible to pass comments to the ofice staff becuase they closed shortly after we checked in (Saturday) and did not open again until 10 a.m. Sunday morning - long after we departed.

THE POOL WAS GREAT CLEAN, PERFECT TEMPATURE. CABIN K-9 had a musty odor upon entry. We otherwise had no issue. First thing we always do is remove the A/C filter and clean the thick dust on it and it runs more efficiently. The fridge worked great. lots of tables to move for use. Bathrooms were dirty every time we went to use them. Many times they smelt. Loved easy access to the grill by the cabin.

Sorry - but the overwhelming stench of cigarettes covered by so much scented spray in the cabin was too much. Left at 5am - could not sleep. Then the overwhelming stench of septic / sewer in the shower / rest room by the office was way too much for me. Continued my journey with no shower. Could not voice concerns to anyone, office was closed when I arrived.

Perfect stop on a trip from NY TO OR! Amenities are as described. Laundry had a smell to it and so did the bathrooms near office. Bathrooms in back by cabins were much better.

We love this KOA! Friendly staff, clean bathrooms and showers. Our dog loved the K9 Kamp. The pool was super refreshing too.

The mattress on the futon is too big for it. The queen bed is awful. It sinks in the middle plus it's awfully small for a queen sized bed. It's noisy when you turn over in it.The WiFi is sub par. We rarely were able to get a signal. We had the same problems last year but thought they would be taken care of before we came this year. Maintaince was very quick to come out and repair our leaky shower.

Lodge had random mismatched towels & linens. Unmade bed. No toiletries. Broken lamps & window blinds. Sign requested dishes to be washed yet no dish soap provided. Terrible sulfur smell from shower. Not worth the price or up to KOA standards. Not a place we would willingly return to.

The bathroom was extremely musty and the toilets were not cleaned for the 15 hours that we were there. The showers were bad enough that we opted to wait until our next destination to shower. The staff was friendly. The cabin was clean. The AC was a wonderful, unexpected surprise. Other than the bathroom facilities, we were very pleased.

We had a delightful time. We had a our dog with us and all went well. Bathrooms were very clean and inviting. Management and staff were constantly looking for ways to help make our stay the best! The camp store has some fun merchandise! Would definitely stay here again. I wanted to give it 5 stars, but when I clicked on the 5th star it didn't show. But it is definitely 5 stars!

The cabin was clean. The mattress in the main room was extremely soft. It was basically like sleeping on a squishy pillow. It would also have been nice to have hand soap in the bathroom.

It was a very nice campground and the staff are phenomenal, however we felt the campground could use a little updating, we wanted to make use of the rec center but the air hockey table was broken and it will eat your quarters because there is no sign saying it is broken. Our cabin was cosy but we couldn't sleep with one of the windows open because the screen was torn. I would definitely return tho

we stayed in the emma cabin, which was very cleaned when we arrived. As in past years it wasn't. We've stayed there for the past ten years. The grandsons had a great time as always. Since there getting bigger we probably will be staying in the bigger cabin next year. The boys also caught more fish. See you next year about this time

It was a pleasant stay except for the stench from the well water in the cabin. Had to open all the windows and doors when using the water. We did say something to the office personnel but nothing changed. Close to where we wanted to go. The only other suggestion that I have is that the Office help should not speak in their language while customers are in the office.

We stayed at this campground for 4 nights. The staff was friendly and very helpful. It is centrally located in the Indiana Amish country. The location is close to Middlebury and Shipsewanna. Lots to do an see in these towns. We stayed in a nice cabin with a restroom and was nice, cozy, and safe. The only negative to the cabin was that it was right by the playground.

We stayed in camping cabin...it was average...picnic table broken...smoke alarm was hanging off it's base...Not sure it was working.....we were reluctant to use the grill at our cabin because there was burnt food still hanging on the grill grate, but most of it burned off...some of the kids staying at another cabin were rude, walking right into our area without apologizing,not supervised.

We stayed in the Saginaw deluxe cabin. It was very clean, and we enjoyed the porch and the deck with iron furniture and large gas grill. It felt very private. We were there Tuesday -Thursday and the grounds were very clean, and the park was quiet. The trails were mowed and very nice. We just wanted quiet time in Amish country, and we really enjoyed a quick getaway.

Family reunion-we had six spots. Lovely campground with lots of planned activities. Staff were friendly & helpful. My $$ deluxe cabin did not have a usable couch---instead a worn out futon which had a mattress that wouldn't stay up on the frame. Also a lack of basic dishes---no regular drinking glasses, limited forks, no large spoons, etc. There was only enough dish soap to wash dishes once.

We all met here for a family reunion, and it couldn't have gone better!!! The fishing tournament was a big hit with the family! Having all the family activities made our weekend so much better. The tie-dye shirts were great .... we each made two a piece and then did a family picture with our shirts on. The staff was all very friendly! We LOVED our cabin, Emma! Thank you for everything!

This KOA was nice, always clean & the dog run was good. The cabin was cute and perfect for our situation while our Retro was being repaired. The WiFi was slow, you could not watch anything for more than 10-minutes if that, it would go off-line. The big negative was the road noise all hours of the night, it took away from what would have been a great place! Jerry, Angie & staff was super nice!

The cabin was very dirty, the smell was so awful we had to sleep in the living room. There are several bees nests that we asked about and they said they don’t do anything for them. We had 4 children with us and 1 was a baby so all the bees made it impossible to be outside much. It was just a very dirty place!

Stayed in a Cabin because our RV not ready yet. Bees swarming around cabin all day. They sprayed while we and our dog were there. Spray did not do anything. Told to use the upper bath house because it was better than the other one. I would hate to see the other one. Bathhouse had no outside lights on at night. Was dirty and very outdated. Canceled 2nd night. Not what we expect from a KOA.

The park & cabin were nice at first blush. Unfortunately, it doesn’t appear that our cabin was cleaned immediately prior to our stay. There were lots of cob webs, dead bugs and a LOT of mice droppings. It was disgusting. Our stay was at the beginning of the season. It made me think that no one had checked &/or cleaned from when the cabin was closed at the end of the previous season.

Stayed in a Kabin this trip on my way to my own KOA job in NH. Kabin was well stocked with cooking utensils & in a nice setting. Angie is awesome. She helped me with a sudden alarm-type loud beeping at midnight. My only recommendation is to put closable curtains at the slider. Thanks again. See you next time.

This KOA campground in Indiana was a lovely surprise on what could have otherwise been a disappointing spring break. After our initial plans to head south and Camp with another family were cancelled due to severe thunderstorms, we looked into what else was open for camping closer to the great lakes area, and found this campground. A couple calls later and we were all set and arrived and I have a hard time putting into words how wonderful the staff is. They're genuinely friendly and very helpful! Fortunately the campground was nearly empty and we were able to get two nice sites together so we could be next to our camping friends and we all had a great time. While tent camping would probably be OK too, our small travel trailer was perfect. There were some HUGE travel trailers there, quite possibly the biggest I've seen. But there are a lot of pull-through sites to accommode that and all the sites have a mostly-level drive. There are cabins too but we didn't look into the details of those. The kids enjoyed riding bikes up and down the camp road, and there was a little pond which offered license-free catch-and-release fishing. I was not prepared for this (and even more surprised when my son said he wanted to put down his electronics and go fishing with his friends!) so I had to drive a few miles into town and buy a rod and hooks and worms at a local sports shop. My son even caught his first fish! And our friends daughter stayed occupied catching garter snakes. Not that I'm a huge outdoorsman, but it was a very nice parent moment to see all the kids off their electronics participating in nature. There's restaurants and a great donut shop nearby and lots of horse and buggy traffic from the local Amish population. This was nice as it gave us a chance not to gawk, but rather to discuss with our children about different lifestyle choices and possible rewards/challenges associated with that, and hopefully instilled some acceptance of other people's choices. There are a couple nice hiking trails on the campground as well. They're perfect for just taking a stroll through the woods with one little hill to contend with, and a little minigolf course for the kiddos to play on a bit. There is also a fenced in dog run for Fido to do his business off-leash, just please pick up after your pet. I cleaned a lot of old dog-logs just so I/my dog didn't step in it, and was rather irritated that dog owners wouldnt have done that themselves. I imagine in high summer when the campground is packed, it might not be as ideal for a quiet camping trip, but that also opens up more chance for social interaction and those quirky little temporary camp friendships that kids are so adept at creating, so I bet it'd still be fun, just in a different way. Overall I recommend this KOA (more than any other KOA or certain picnic basket stealing bear campgrounds I've been to in the past!), and will likely return, even if theres no other cancelation to drive the necessity. It was just a good time.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful campground, and couldn't be more thrilled with our experience! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the warm and welcoming staff who went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. One of the highlights of our trip was the spacious dog park. It was great to find a campground that truly values its four-legged guests. For families with children, this campground is an absolute dream. The variety of activities available can keep kids entertained for hours. The campground was well-maintained, our pull thru site was level and clean. Overall, our experience at this campground exceeded our expectations. A huge thank you to the staff for their hospitality and for providing such a fantastic environment for families and pets alike!
