The staff was very welcoming. The park and sites are well maintained & spacious We really enjoyed the clubhouse amenities.

Campsite was clean when we arrived, good Wi-Fi, quick n easy check-in, clubhouse was great, bathrooms were clean and spacious and I like that you allow wood campfires. My only recommendation is to get more trash cans and some place to dump campfire ashes.

I really like this place. The staff was nice, place was clean. They honored my request. The only negative I was expecting a fully clean asphalt pad.

We have been KOA members 4 years. River Sands to a KOA was surprising. But, we have been there with a group of 4 to 8 RVs in our group. Lou and staff are great. Some things that we feel needs some attention are the camp site slabs. Like1037 the asphalt is broken up and has a lot of holes in it. Another is the trash pickup. Like many other big parks putting the trash out and picked up would help.

Quiet, clean campground .Excellent front desk staff. We actually did not take advantage of many of the amenities. Weather was perfect for us. I would seek something with a few more trees during the summer months.

We found one of the nicest KOAs we have ever stayed in! We needed a stop near the Quartzite RV Show. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our basic back in site was all we needed. It was level and large enough for our 26’ trailer and truck. The clubhouse is awesome! We really enjoyed the beach along the Colorado for sunset views.

Large sites both width and length. A clubhouse that includes board games and gym.

It was great, everyone was so nice and friendly, the bathrooms and showers were clean and tisy. The pool house is great too

Enjoyed our stay and the amenities. My only issue is that everyone drives way to fast witch kicks up alot of dust, this is not enjoyable when your trying to enjoy an outside meal or enjoy the outside.

Great place. Stayed there before it was a KOA and love it now that it is in the family. Great facilities, huge sites, and great staff.

Did not get to enjoy the pool but walked over to check it out for next time and the Recreation room is awesome so many games and the pool and hot tub looked inviting. Walked down and sat by the river for a bit and enjoyed the tranquility of it all.

The spot we picked was right by the dog park. It was clean, level & really big. The whole campground is clean and well kept. Office staff were friendly during check-in. Love the river access & beach area. Only minor problem was that the dog park would get flooded every night, so my dogs had to walk around in a couple inches of muddy cold water in the morning. Other than that it was a great stay!

Wonderful stay!! We had a site close to the bath house which was very convenient. There’s a large laundry area with lots of washers and dryers. The showers are all private with hand held heads and shower seats. Everything is immaculate. When we requested an extension on our stay, they made sure our rate reflected the long term discount. Quiet, relaxing, great value! We will be back.

First time in a KOA. Park was super nice, clean and staff was great. All facilities rate A+ from me.

This new KOA isn't anything that was expected based on the pics and other locations owned by the same corporation. This location is not finished out anywhere near as nice as their other location in Camp Verde. Camp K9 was flooded by irrigation water making it unusable. There is also a lack of smaller turf K9 sites like the other location. This KOA needs help to become a nice campground.

I am still here but in a bigger camper so moved spots. This is by far one of my favorite campgrounds. The amenities are perfect. I can't even rate the staff on a 1-10 they far exceed that scale. The laundry and shower facilities are top notch and always clean.

The park itself is nice and clean. The beachfront is beautiful and the maintenance guy was attentive and friendly. There were some concerns I had about the restrooms being locked, even without a code access. Not everyone uses their toilet in their RV’s or trailers. For the price of our daily stay, we should have had access to the restrooms closest to our campsite. Not to mention not having a ben

Very clean and maintained bathrooms. Nice dog park large enough to exercise our dog. Sites are very cramped.

We found staff and other guests during our stay very friendly and welcoming. It’s a well laid out and clean resort and found all amenities clean, including the laundry. It has a lot to offer including a clubhouse full of activities, fitness room, pool and behind this sits the Colorado River where there is a nice sandy beach. If you like off-roading activities this is the place for you.

Overall we enjoyed the campground and the amenities, I would have given it 5 stars however the peaceful atmosphere was ruined by constant motorcycles and atv’s using the campground roads as a track. I understand motorsports are a draw for the area, but it was constant back and forth, rather than riding in the nearby desert.

Had a great time there liked the fishing lake it had good amount of fish in it. The staff were great. The grounds were well kept.

Large level sites and large roads to move around on. Hot tub and heated pool were great. Located on Colorado River

This park is huge. Site was very wide. Arizona desert so sand and no grass as expected. Very level. Only an overnight stay so didn't use amenities. It was disappointing to see very young kids riding their motorized motorcycle around park. Older kids did not abide the speed limit. Dangerous with a pet friendly park.

Very nice campground well maintained. The shower/restroom facility was probably one of the cleanest I have seen at a campground. Well worth the money and convenient to many s x s trails. Most easy riding.

Very nice KOA. Great river access, nice facilities and large sites. Staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed in a 45’ 5th wheel.
