Did not stay at the campsite. The weather was not favorable. We did use the store and the showers. Denise (hostess) was very kind and friendly. Alot of construction was happening. I'm sure this time next year things will be much better.

A great KOA Dennis was excellant and offered free meals in a bag as soon as we arrived. She is the perfect exmple of a KOA greeter, of which we have met many. The other staff were also the most frendly people you could meet. This KOA is been renovated to high standard the pool area is almost complete and looks great. Please do not let this work impact your desision to stay here.

There was a lot of construction was going on, the pool needed work. A good location and maybe once they finish the work it will be better.

Hope I never have to stay at Davie KOA again. They keep insisting you pay $400 non refundable deposit for your next month stay even though your time isn't up yet.

Although was informed park under construction and told to call for details, pool was closed completely, no wi-fi or internet service as well Charging $90 for such is quite expensive. I will say actual parking space was nice with new pavers and outdoor seating. Just be aware before booking no internet or pool.

This was a horrible experience. The entire campground was being renovated. There was piles of dirt and gravel all over the place. There was no internet or cable even though advertised. At one point we lost water because a construction worker broke a pipe. All of this and they had still charged a full rate as if all the amenities were available. To boot the park flooded. This was a nightmare

Our site & a few others were nice but most are really close together. They were under construction so it was hard to get a good feel for the park. We had NO internet at our site for a week which was very inconvenient. We would stay again as long as we could get one of the nicer sites. Hopefully after construction it will be better.

Absolutely horrible campground. We were warned there was some construction, but that wasn’t the problem. None of the pictures online remotely represent the actual sites. We actually had site 54 which in the picture shows grass and concrete pad. There was none of that and the rock wall was crumbling down! Complete Misrepresentation ! We left.

Nice park. Nice sidewalk trails all around to enjoy. They seems to be in the middle class f several updates and remodels to make it even better.

The owner is pleasant and upfront. This KOA is under major renovation, making it difficult to rate on what will become versus what is . Few immenities are available at this time and construction equipment and landscaping a hazard. There was no wifi or cable at our location (a new site - which worked well as the only camper in the five adjoining spaces.

This is by far the worst KOA I have ever stayed at. There is a major safety concern I brought up and the General manager acted as if it’s not a problem. There are no breakers at the post, so you have to plug in your camper while it’s hot! Also the bathrooms look like something out of Area 51. The turns are tight, the place is a dump. The sites are very tight. The fire pit was under my camper!

Looks like major renovations may produce a nice park...terribly tight roads and if you gave a big rig towing I'd stay somewhere else. Had to make some very sketchy maneuvers to get into pull thru site and had to exit park on entrance side of road as it is too tight by their gate.

Nice pool. Great staff. Easy Check in. Nice patio site with shade and fire pit. Would prefer grill in back and away from camper but I brought my own. More showers needed but the one there are as nice as any campground I have visited. Wish this campground was not as remote. Nothing that wouldn’t keep me from using it again though

After spending over $1200 dollars and staying 13 day in May I was charged an additional $20 for an extra 2 hours for 2 hr delay in check out. Future travels across America will NOT BE IN Kia's.

I think this place will be greatly improved when they complete their renovations. Right now, our space was very small for a patio space, grill was not cleaned out when we arrived, and there are lots of full timers living there.

The only thing that was upset was I had over myankle high water when I stepped out my door. The camp site was not leave. Yes we did have a lot of rain but the site need more rock in it. I was in space 21.

It’s a dump. Worst KOA we’ve ever stayed in. App said they only had 1 spot available at $80. Lots of empty spots that night. Everything under construction. Pot holes. Confusing office entry through a junk room. How this was made a KOA park, I’ll never understand. We’ll never be back. We love KOA because we get better but this one we did not.

The good thing was the nearness to the venue for my Senior Games. You had to walk to the pool to use the Internet. They were not helpful to my wife when she tried to use the Internet. No near showers and this was a Holiday KOA. I have stayed in campgrounds from the Rockies to the Atlantic Ocean and Key West to the Canadian border and this is the worst campground I stayed. We mostly stay at KOAs

Had a nice, new site but the campgound is a construction site. Hopefully they can get this finished soon but didn't see much construction activity. KOA states "free wifi" but after checking in and setting, learned that wifi was effectively limited to office/pool area. No cable. New manager doing her best. Won't be back until remodeling is done and advertised services are confirmed.

Lots of construction going on. Our site was very nice, but the park is tight and winding for bigger rigs. Staff very nice. Laundry desperately needs upgrade.

This will be a nice campground once remodeling has been completed. We were there a week and did not see much work being done toward that goal. Pool was nice and staff was nice.

The park is very rundown. I was told that it is being updated. Problem is, whoever is in charge waited until it was almost in total disrepair. Staff was excellent, pool and laundry facilities were great. We had no problems at all with electric, water or sewer service. It has a lot of potential and hope it gets renovated soon.

Although the grounds are under construction it was a pleasant stay. Very friendly staff. Looking forward to revisiting when upgrades are completed.

Expensive $75 for tent camping (Laquinta $100) 'looked like a construction zone with rubble everywhere... reminiscent of war-torn Bosnia, the (determined) kids had to hop the fence to get to the playground and swing with debris underfoot, the tent sites were small and in the flight path of Ft Lauderdale airport.. oh yeh, bring extra tent stakes to pound into the rocky (cement chunks) ground.

This is our second time staying at this location. yes, they are going through some remodeling but it's a very friendly place, easy to get in and out, and in a good location for shopping, eating and taking in the sites. This place is hands down so much better than the Hollywood KOA. Though a little off the Turnpike path, well worth a few more minutes drive to a nicer location. We'll be Back!

We can usually trust KOA rv sites but this one was extremely disappointing. Thankfully we only had to spend one night. Not well kept, our package was not ready when we arrived, check in was unorganized.

The manager was very nice, but the park is not great. Poor wifi, no cable, small inconvenient dog park. We booked 4 nights but left after 1. In fairness, it looks like they're renovating, but not recommended currently.

Our site was perfect for us; close to dog walk area. Also very quiet for a cg of its size. Weather was hot but not uncomfortable. Staff was very cordial.

The staff was great. Since the campground is under construction and/or renovation should be closed. The facilities are in very bad condition for a vacation stay. I will recommend to close it until is completely renovated and ready. The nightly stay is too high for a campground in that condition.

Tent Camper (Sites 5 thru 11). Unable to drive a 6 6" stakes into the ground to set my tent. Floridian by birth. Grew up here. Camped up and down the east and west coast. I was offered different sites. Same result. A staff member suggested that Florida did have coral reefs. I didn't find any but I did find steel reinforced concrete and small chunks of asphalt. Coral Reefs my ...well you know!

RV park is extremely tight and for those with larger rigs like me at 43' maneuvering through the park had me on pins and needles and the island at the gate is very tight. Staff were great but the park needs some wider roads.

Amazing KOA location! Friendly staff made great recommendations for nearby restaurants and fun things to do. We stayed in a newly renovated RV lot that was really nice and enjoyed the free pancake breakfast on Saturday. Definitely coming back!
