We loved this campground. It had activities for the kids and family things to keep us busy. The sites were really clean and the staff (Marissa) were super friendly and welcoming.I stayed here before the renovation (apx 8 years ago) and it was a dump and not a KOA.I didnt even recognize the campground with its lush new landscaping, beautiful, brand new cabins, playground, pool. Will stay again.

This campground is way too tight for big rigs so we won’t be coming back. We didn’t even have room to park our truck in the site without being on the grass we weren’t supposed to touch. We had a 41 foot fifth wheel. There are several very old campers that look to be permanent that weren’t too appealing either.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

I'm sure you can understand that it is very frustrating when we have to tell guests multiple times to stay off the grass or not to park in the road. We hope you find another park that better suits your needs. Happy Camping!

Just about the best KOA anywhere. Beautiful setting, landscaping artistry, and a wonderful staff, friendly and kind. Lots of activities that you don’t usually get at a KOA, and breakfast included every day. I signed up for 3 nights and ended up staying for 11. Definitely will be back on my return swing around the gulf.

Absolutely the most well landscaped KOA we've ever stayed in!! It's like a tropical jungle! We had butterfly/Zen Garden to enjoy too. The staff was extremely friendly. Great location. In Tarpon Springs, we enjoyed some Greek food and watched the sponge boats. A nice escape!!

Although the staff was very nice , if you have a big rig it will be possibly damaged when you first enter the campground. There is a tree that should absolutely be cut back when you first enter campground on corner entrance.I informed 2 staff members. We watched several large campers hit this tree . We would consider coming back if that tree was cut back at least to 14 feet as our Camper is 13’6

Great stay at Clearwater Lake Tarpon koa. Clean grounds, everything worked, ping pong, pool, showers etc. The only thing I can recommend is a better breakfast. I understand cost savings but a bagel and raisin bran is not my idea of Continental. Would have loved a sausage biscuit.
