The grounds are clean, clean bathrooms, and we loved the swimming pool. The staff was first class!!! The location is ideal to see Hood River, Stevenson, and many other beautiful sites in the Gorge. Thank you!

We stayed here to break up our travel day into two as we had a long drive back home. Great place, clean, friendly staff, plenty to do. Only a slight complaint that the train tracks were close and it was a little noisy. But they had free earplugs and we slept through the night no problem.

Good place for taking our friend & her kids on their first overnight camping experience. Activities for the kids were great!

Easy stay and great people but watch out for the trains

Very pleasant campground.

NOISE CANCELLING HEADPHONES A MUST! This KOA clearly spells out (in RED bold type) that you are next to the railroad tracks and we were! Site 45 was about 50 yards from tracks. The trains blow their horns at least 3 times each time as they pass and trains run 24 hours a day. The wonderful staff provides ear plugs free of charge The sites are good size, nice laundry facility & camp store

The people and service were very helpful and friendly. The downside was being in such close proximity to other campers and somewhat ugly.landscaping.

All ya need is less train whistles and an air station to fill tires

We had a really nice pull-thru spot with full hook-ups. Staff was friendly and helpful; the campground was quiet. As is typical with KOA, there is minimal space between sites but there are plenty of ponderosa pines.

It was fine except that train

Wonderful place friendly staff very clean.

They advertise cable but it didn’t work. Office said it could be my cord plus she asked very condescendingly “Isn’t cable antiquated anyway?”The whole KOA had horrible cable and it’s been a long-term issue according to others. The KOA internet was weak, no OTA tv, and Starlink didn’t work because of the trees. I FT and was there a week. Great hot tub and all but one worker super nice.

Friendly staff lots of shade good size lots clean

Staff were nice/great amenities. Note: if you are there in the warmer months, avoid spaces 57/58! You will cook like a baked potato in a microwave.ook 4+ hrs to cool down MH b/c that one one of the few spaces w/o shade. Went to the office to ask for another space & was told there wasn't anything available. We noticed that a space by office was open the entire time & went unused. Disappointing...

Nice place, Wi-Fi was not very good seams to be an issue in this part of the country because the last two nights in another KOA was same issue.

The campground staff were wonderful and the campground is nice. There is a train that runs by the campground day and night.

Loved the stay. Clean campground, friendly staff. Love coming here. Only recommendation for everyone in our group…get better toilet paper.

Staff were all very friendly and accommodating, especially with a misunderstanding with reservations and they worked it out so that we didn’t have to go elsewhere.

We were in site 89 which should not even be a site.We were right next to the restrooms with very squeaky doors(maybe 10' away), with the pool and hot tub within 8 ft of our site. Obviously we had constant screaming/yelling as soon as the pool opened not able to open windows. On the door side we only had 5 ft of open space to the edge of our site and only 2' on the other side. Contact for pictures.

Very helpful and friendly staff, great showers. I rate this KOA a 5 star rating. The only comment I can give is to be aware there are trains that come every two hours next to the campsite but that is not in the control of the campsite.

Really nice, friendly, clean, peaceful stay, definitely to be returning again.

Bigfoot riding around was fun to watch! Only downfall was the train that blew its whistle offensively night and day. Bring earplugs!

I loved the pool. River access was amazing. I loved the bike track. The paved rods were nice. I loved the nature. I did not like the train.
Jul 23, 2025
the facilities were great. The frequency of the trains passing and blowing their horns ruined the experience for our family.

The park is nice looking clean and in a great location however, my experience with little to no water pressure made showering and using our bathroom difficult. The person monitoring the campground tried to convince me it was our fifth wheel, but then the next day he had the same problem so then he changed his story to a faulty gauge that he had to measure the pressure. Meanwhile, the water dripped

Great campground, lots of trees and shade. Will definitely stay here again.

The park was very nice, camp hosts very very helpful as we had trouble getting in and out of our site. The sites are very close together. The kids loved the pool, the scavenger hunt and the tulip hunt. The park was very clean and had an awesome bathroom.

Our RV spot was absolutely PERFECT for having our two granddaughters with us. It was easy to get to the pool, the showers, playground and store. So many fun extras with Bigfoot driving by, the wooden tulips, the little shop, the pool, etc. Only thing ti share is that the lock in the first shower is broken, so that was kind of awkward try try and keep closed for privacy hile trying to shower

The trains going bye and blowing their horns was the only down fall

Went for 1 night, then stayed for 3 more, great.

it was just an overnight. It was very comfortable and clean and good.

We truly loved the entire campground. The staff was very kind and respectful. Emma was super helpful in finding us a site at the last minute as we were passing through. The amenities, including the hot shower were amazing. We would definitely stay at this location again.
Jul 21, 2025
Staff were great and campground was friendly with wonderful clean bathrooms and showers! The dog park could use more wood chips, but our dogs enjoyed it thoroughly.
Jul 21, 2025
Staff is friendly and professional. The sites are too close to each other, lack of any privacy. Train passes so close that is impossible not to hear it. If you are by the sites closed to the rail, we'll too bad. There is only one site with shower/bathroom for the whole campsite. Crowded and not clean.
Jul 21, 2025
The host was very nice and professional. However, the bathrooms/shower rooms were not locked. There were locks with codes on the doors, but they did not work. A little unsafe.

After driving all day, just needed a place to stay for the night. Site was directly across from playground, first site next to pool, dishwashing area and check in. Not one of my better stays at KOA.

I really enjoyed our stay. Clean campground and friendly staff. It would be great if all rv/trailer sites had sewer hookups and cement pads.

Very comfortable, great scenery.

Easy to check in and they help you find your site

The "room" rating is actually for RV sites. We really loved this site. It's BEAUTIFUL!

The staff was very friendly, however, up until at least 1130 there was a loud party in the cabin, strictly across from my cabin and many other cabins. The quiet time was not enforced. The entire party was very loud and rude and not respectful for others trying to have some quiet time. No enforcement of the 10 o'clock role. Next time I think I'd rather get a hotel.

Nice level rv spots with full hookups they have a play area for the kids and a small dog run for your pets office staff was very helpful and friendly. You just have to deal with train noise
