Great staff. We will stay again when in the area.

Great little cabin for a race weekend at Cascade Locks. Everything is really close in the KOA grounds to easy to get to bathrooms and the store.

Lovely staff and very well kept facilities. My only recommendation would be to add gravel or some sort of ground cover since it was a bit of a dust bowl all around the site.

Helpful friendly employees and a clean place including the restrooms! The only thing I would appreciate and change to is the store opening at 7 am or 8 am. We are early risers and had to go into town for a cup of overpriced brewed coffee!!

Bathrooms were closed for a long time every day. Didn’t allow clothes lines so we had to hang out wet stuff on our camper or the fence.

We stayed only one night. We prefer more space between RV’S. Pretty packed!

A great base for adventures along the Gorge!

Fiver stars for the two staff that helped me check-in. I came in about an hour before the office closed and likely the end of their shirt. Yet, they were full of smiles with a positive demeanor. They took the time to answer all my questions and provided a professional orientation to the campground. One star for the facilities which are sorely in need of updating and maintenance.

Our Kabin was clean and perfect! Bathrooms were also well kept and accessible. Thanks for a wonderful time!

Friendly and helpful staff (drove us to our site). Lots of amenities. Spaces are typical RV sites with just enough space. Bathrooms and showers are definitely a notch up from typical KOA sites.

Enjoyed our time there. Beautiful setting and very nice spots. Also enjoyed the pool, hot tub and wine sold in the store.

Too much train noise, but people are very nice!

Loved our stay! The pool was great, clean bathrooms, and great little store. The campsites for tentcamping weren’t super private and you are really close to train tracks which was pretty loud. But we had a great time!
Aug 04, 2025
The staff was very accommodating and very friendly and helpful. The only problem was the trains going by at all hours of the day and night. if you want a peacefull stay, this might not be the place, but if you can get past the sound of the trains, it was a very good experience.

The grounds are clean, clean bathrooms, and we loved the swimming pool. The staff was first class!!! The location is ideal to see Hood River, Stevenson, and many other beautiful sites in the Gorge. Thank you!

This koa is so crowded we opted not to even stay. The tent sites are packed in like sardines. Zero privacy, zero comfort. Maybe fine for group camp, but if looking for camping and peace keep going. At $42 a night for a tent i expect way better. What a waste of my money!

We enjoyed our stay, thank you. Very nice clean KOA Nice people..

We stayed here to break up our travel day into two as we had a long drive back home. Great place, clean, friendly staff, plenty to do. Only a slight complaint that the train tracks were close and it was a little noisy. But they had free earplugs and we slept through the night no problem.

Good place for taking our friend & her kids on their first overnight camping experience. Activities for the kids were great!

Easy stay and great people but watch out for the trains

Very pleasant campground.

NOISE CANCELLING HEADPHONES A MUST! This KOA clearly spells out (in RED bold type) that you are next to the railroad tracks and we were! Site 45 was about 50 yards from tracks. The trains blow their horns at least 3 times each time as they pass and trains run 24 hours a day. The wonderful staff provides ear plugs free of charge The sites are good size, nice laundry facility & camp store

The people and service were very helpful and friendly. The downside was being in such close proximity to other campers and somewhat ugly.landscaping.

Very friendly staff. In a beautiful location, not far from Portland/Vancouver. We have tent camped there twice now and are looking forward to staying in a cabin on our next visit.

All ya need is less train whistles and an air station to fill tires

We had a really nice pull-thru spot with full hook-ups. Staff was friendly and helpful; the campground was quiet. As is typical with KOA, there is minimal space between sites but there are plenty of ponderosa pines.

It was fine except that train

They advertise cable but it didn’t work. Office said it could be my cord plus she asked very condescendingly “Isn’t cable antiquated anyway?”The whole KOA had horrible cable and it’s been a long-term issue according to others. The KOA internet was weak, no OTA tv, and Starlink didn’t work because of the trees. I FT and was there a week. Great hot tub and all but one worker super nice.

We stayed here because we We’re attending a bluegrass festival on the other side of the river + we did some sightseeing in the area. Very well organised campsite! Felt safe and taken care of. The railroad a bit noisy though and we put our tent in a dusty spot. Should have chosen the stretch of Grass on our site.

Friendly staff lots of shade good size lots clean

Staff were nice/great amenities. Note: if you are there in the warmer months, avoid spaces 57/58! You will cook like a baked potato in a microwave.ook 4+ hrs to cool down MH b/c that one one of the few spaces w/o shade. Went to the office to ask for another space & was told there wasn't anything available. We noticed that a space by office was open the entire time & went unused. Disappointing...

Nice place, Wi-Fi was not very good seams to be an issue in this part of the country because the last two nights in another KOA was same issue.

The campground staff were wonderful and the campground is nice. There is a train that runs by the campground day and night.

Loved the stay. Clean campground, friendly staff. Love coming here. Only recommendation for everyone in our group…get better toilet paper.

This trip has become an annual thing for us! We come with friends and always have a great time. Love the peacefulness of the park while also being so close to many attractions. The staff is very friendly and my son loves the pool! Would love to see the gift shop carry something for bee stings as I was stung during my stay. Already booked our cabin for next year! :)

I've been going to this campground for over 10 years and I absolutely love it.

Staff were all very friendly and accommodating, especially with a misunderstanding with reservations and they worked it out so that we didn’t have to go elsewhere.

We were in site 89 which should not even be a site.We were right next to the restrooms with very squeaky doors(maybe 10' away), with the pool and hot tub within 8 ft of our site. Obviously we had constant screaming/yelling as soon as the pool opened not able to open windows. On the door side we only had 5 ft of open space to the edge of our site and only 2' on the other side. Contact for pictures.

Very helpful and friendly staff, great showers. I rate this KOA a 5 star rating. The only comment I can give is to be aware there are trains that come every two hours next to the campsite but that is not in the control of the campsite.

The "room" rating is actually for RV sites. We really loved this site. It's BEAUTIFUL!

The staff was very friendly, however, up until at least 1130 there was a loud party in the cabin, strictly across from my cabin and many other cabins. The quiet time was not enforced. The entire party was very loud and rude and not respectful for others trying to have some quiet time. No enforcement of the 10 o'clock role. Next time I think I'd rather get a hotel.
