A gorgeous KOA! Spot #43 was PERFECT for us, right nxt 2 busy train-tracks! MANY trains going by all day/night- w/LOUD horns (love it)! Nice pool & hot-tub, laundry rm, RR & showers, Escort & help to the site is ALWAYS appreciated, nicely spaced under the beautiful huge pine trees, & path/hike to the River. Nice Store, super friendly staff-thank you Mary, Julia, Marissa, & Dalton!

Wonderful park, but the train all hours of the night is just too much!

Asked for a rv spot near my cabin..but ones only able to get 2 spots down with children it made it hard. RV spots across or next to cabin on the other side seem to be open 1 night or other. So booking 2 night seems I would have had priority. I advised at booking time I would take back in or pull through. I was told the sites don't get assigned at booking time. It turned out ok and we made it wor

We loved the cabin. It was a relatively quiet except the train coming through but they have ear plugs for those that can't sleep thru it. Loved the dog park for our pups and appreciate the handy bags and trash can for easy clean up. We will stay again next time we come up!

We really enjoyed our stay. One wish is the pool was a tad bit warmer, but we did enjoy the hot tub.

It was short and sweet but we appreciated the roomy sights and clean bathrooms and laundry!!

We frequent the Cascade Locks KOA a lot, it’s a quick getaway trip for us. We love the ease of this KOA, this was a last minute booking for us and we had a less than ideal spot assigned to us. The RV pad was level, but the rest of the spot was not. We love sitting outside (and the weather was beautiful) we couldn’t find a place to park our chair that was level. Book early! Staff was very frien

Tons of tress for shade. Sites are big enough for big rigs however very tight getting in and out. They average 20-30 trains per day and blow their horns 4-5 times each passing. Expect loud noise all night long.

Lots of trees at our campsite which provides nice shade. Paved pull through was level , which was nice so we didn’t have to unhook our tow vehicle. Friendly staff!

The noise is terrible; a lot of trains pass by, and they each honk four times. The ground consists of nothing but fine dust beneath the trees on the unserviced sites. Our feet are constantly dirty—even in sandals—and the dust gets everywhere. Spreading cedar mulch or pine needles would help improve the situation in these areas.

Easy to pull in and get around to my back in spot. Staff gave me the information I needed on the Easy Climb bike/hike trail nearby (even gave me a flier on it). Nice quiet night.

Nice wooded campground with large spaces for larger rigs. However, it is right near train tracks and the train went by several times a night.

Stayed about a week. Beautiful campground with tall trees all around. Beautiful scenery in the Columbia Gorge. Absolutely peaceful and a great place to relax.

Convenient location - close to many beautiful outdoor Columbia River Gorge destinations. The resort is very accommodating for large groups and families. Kids had fun at the pool. Dogs enjoyed their walks around the park.

An overnight stop. Had a 50amp back-in spot, easy to get in and out. Friendly staff at check-in and was guided to our site. Well shaded campground. Did not use any amenities. Will keep this KOA on our list of stops.

Spent the weekend to visit Portland
Aug 11, 2026
Campers wedged in tight, we had a neighbors tent encroaching our space about 3-4 feet. They did take it down during the night. little grass for the dogs. A lot of nice shade when it was very hot. Just too cramped for us.

Everything was wonderful- clean well kept campground, friendly staff, nice pool and bathroom! The only thing I would change is how HOT our cabin got throughout the day and was nearly unbearable 84° in the cabin with a baby overnight- only 2 windows had curtains that open - it would be helpful if ALL windows had the rings to be able to open to let the breeze through! Everything else was fabulous

Thanks to all the staff we had a great time with family!!

The site was beautiful and my granddaughter enjoyed the pool so much! She slept through the trains and their loud horns,. Me? Not so much! We tent camp, but I need power for my CPAP so I will probably only come back when I have a large power source that will allow me to be further away from the tracks. Aside from the trains, we had a wonderful long weekend stay.

This is a nicely balanced and equipped KOA. It isn't the best of the best I've been to, but it is also not so utilitarian that you only stay there because it is hookups and a place to park. The pool and hot tub are the nicest amenity at this location, I wish they stayed open just a bit longer into the evening. We will keep coming back as this location is on the way to or from other destinations

We enjoy it here. However, you must be ok with the train noise. Kids like the pool, I enjoy the hot tub. Some sites look tight getting anything bigger than my 27’ trailer in. The paperwork when you check in says 100 psi water pressure, so have a regulator. Close to stores and an easy drive across the river for more food and activities.

Very nice, tree covered campground. Not very conducive to Starlink or Dish TV. Nice people. Very small dog run. Only there 2 days and never got used to the trains. Horns all day and night. Still would go again.

Even with us being a large group with many many kiddos they were so patient and we felt very welcome! Will definitely be back!

It was an unexpected pleasure to stay at Cascade locks. We did not have very high expectations, but found the campground to be warm and inviting. There are things to do, and all of the necessary things are available. It is located not far outside of eastern Portland and it may turn out to be a welcomed location for us in the future. Lots of trees and paths to walk.

Cascade Locks KOA was one of the first KOAs we chose to stay when we began to RV. We have traveled most of the western states and another of the upper midwest, KOAs are our choice in most cases it's rare to find one we didn't enjoy camping.

Great location to visit my fires in the area. Also enjoyed just staying on the park. All the staff were great and very helpful.

Excellent KOA campground, highly recommended

It was a very dark three days. There was no sunshine in the camp because of all the trees. Trees are nice but not to the point it’s hard to get big rigs in and about the park to park them. I suggest to cut some trees down especially close to the campsites for safety of peoples motorhomes, trailers, and fifth wheels. It still will be an even better park with sunshine and safety.

spaces are a little tight if you are in a 35 or larger coach. The staff are friendly and the place is clean. If you have a dog they have a area for them to run free off leach for a few.
Aug 04, 2026
Nice location, only drawback that no one can do anything about is the train that goes just feet away from the campground.i swear the conductor blows the horn on purpose at 2 am as they go past to wake everyone up. L9l

This place is very beautiful and has potential to be one the best KOA'S in Oregon. The staff were great and very friendly. Then we arrived at our Cabin, it wasn't very clean. The door didnt lock! The bathrooms were atrocious and only 2 toilets for everyone . Staff were notified that people were walking through our campsite and did nothing. We left at 9:30pm due to the mariachi band playing.

First time staying in Koa little too close together for my liking
Aug 02, 2026
Location was nice because we had business in Portland. Staff was nice. And that's pretty much the best part of our stay. Negatives- Train super loud all day and night, very close sites, dryers never dried my clothes even though I spent a ton of money on them. Would not stay here again.

I was amazed how quite it was with so many people. It was very peaceful. All staff were great. Clean.

Beautiful campground, lots of trees and shade. Facilities are excellent, staff was very helpful.

Clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We kept extending our stay since we like it so well!

The location is perfect if you are meeting up with hikers of the Pacific Crest Trail. I saw reviews of people complaining about the trains. If you are going to stay not just here but anywhere near the river you will hear the trains. We had our air conditioning running most of the night so the noise really didn’t bother us. The campground is clean, and the staff is really helpful.

Park is beautiful and very well kept up. Trees are awesome! Close to train track so you better like trains passing through and blowing their horns. That said, we were in space 89 worst spot in the park. We scheduled in May. This spot is right next to bathrooms and office and overlooks pool and screaming kids and of course everyone is looking at you sitting outside trying to relax. Don camp in 89.

Absolutely wonderful KOA to stay in with our camp trailer! Hosts were AMAZING. & the amenities as well as the store were such a blessing. The only thing we wished we did differently was bring earplugs for sleeping lol, the train makes a lot of noise!
