Campground Reviews

We have stayed here before. The sites are not too close, almost all under trees (sorry Starlink). The staff is helpful, restrooms clean. Thanks for a good experience.

Nice wooded sights. Clean and friendly. Did not stay long enough.

We stayed for 3 days in Cascade Locks. The park was well maintained and very quiet. Except for the trains coming by, I was surprised with how quiet the park was. It was a pleasant break in our trip from Texas. We will definitely stay there again on future trips.

My stay was great. Staff was friendly and helpful. Everything was sparkling clean and in working order. This KOA is a joy starting from arrival to departure. The location is great for hikers. The Bridge of the Gods is a must. All of the eateries nearby are nice and friendly.

Quiet. Clean. Comfortable

This is my favorite KOA to stay at. We live an hour away and we come here whenever we can! It’s always clean and the staff are always friendly. You should definitely visit!

Great location. Sites are large and have grass between them. Store is large and has a lot. Bathrooms were clean but had a really bad smell like sewage. Not sure why as it seemed very clean.

Older campground but they're working on it. Sites are old and settled uneven asphalt but leveling wasn't an issue. Almost every site is heavily shaded with just a few that have mostly sun. Most sites are 30A, water/sewer are good. Propane and laundry on site. A small dog park area. Trains can come through 24/7 but not not so frequently that it was an issue. Hosts were very friendly & helpful.

Nice park, except for the train whistles every two hours or so, around the clock.

Beautiful park, great staff, clean laundry but it is as close to the train tracks as you can get and the train runs/blows its horn A LOT. If it weren't for the train this park would have been a 5 out of 5.

If you’re in a tent you’ll definitely want to take advantage of the free ear plugs from friendly office staff- the train is so close! Bathrooms were well maintained and the showers provided nice hot water with great pressure. The sites are adequately sized and there are plenty of options to make for a comfortable stay. Thanks for a relaxing stay.

This KOA is centrally located to most attractions in the area. The staff was friendly and helpful. The bath house was clean. There is a train that runs adjacent to the campground. It can get noisy, but I’d prefer the sound of western train whistle over semi-trucks air braking on a busy highway any day of the week.

Only issue is the continual trains. Staff are great and park is great.

We loved the camp ground surrounded by trees.

Needed a place in a pinch and they accommodated me no problem. The owner was also kind to help transport me and laundry when I was struggling. Laundromat was also super clean and great equipment. Also, I loved the trains going by.

We stayed for four nights at the Cascade Locks KOA. It's in the stunning Columbia River Gorge. The facility is clean and well-run, and the area is absolutely gorgeous. We visited waterfall, had dinner at a local pub, and saw a nest of Osprey right in the park. The trains go by on a regular basis, but the noise did not disturb us at all. We found it soothing and bit nostalgic. 2 thumbs up!!

The campground was clean. The hosts were friendly. The other campers were kind and courteous. Our son loved watching the trains that ran behind the campground and got excited every time he heard one. We would definitely stay here again!

I really enjoy the campsite and all the crew that’s working there. Only one thing comes to mind to make this a perfect campground, and that would be to have ALL the campsites to be made as level as possible. This is something I hear a lot about from other RV’ers I’ve talked to about a lot of campgrounds. It would be worth the money spent! Thank you. Michael Chaddic

Super fun! They have quite a few spots against the fence on a roadway, and when we asked for a more forested quiet spot, they accommodated us happily. There is a very busy train track behind the site, so expect a few good honks at night. For me, it doesn’t bother me but if you’re a light sleeper, maybe not the best. Bathrooms were clean, as well as the whole camp ground. I’ll be back!

Always a great weekend get away. Staff is always friendly and helpful, great KOA. The only thing is the train that goes by at odd time. Close to hiking and fishing.

Loved the cabin and the bed was very comfortable. I was happy we got K8 as we got some space to the side of the cabin that felt private. Location was great for walking or biking to town! My kid had a great time and overall I’d stay again. We’d read the reviews and knew to expect train noise, thank goodness I knew in advance so I could bring a noise machine and box fan to try to dampen the nois

Like staying at this KOA. Friendly staff . The only issue is with the bathroom/showers there are no benches or handicapped stall. Made it unavailable for me to use the showers.

Bathroom could have used a little heat, in the springtime.

Shore power was unusable. Generator power was not allowed and the location is next to railroad crossing and airport

Unable to take a shower because of the temperature of the water. COLD!!! Place needs up keep! Staff was friendly!

We always enjoy staying at the KOA and its proximity to the Portland and Hood River area. The campground is always clean and well maintained and the staff is great.

We would have given 5 stars if not for the train. Sorry! But the train coming by so often during the night made it hard to sleep. The office ladies deserve 5 stars though!

I appreciated the hospitality here! When I found I was going to be late, the hostess on the phone was 100% welcoming and helpful. The forest trees around the site are very pretty. The renovated bathroom is beautiful…good warm shower. :) This is a nice place for families…the fenced playground, the whiz-carts for kids to borrow. Pet-yard, pool and outdoor hot tub, tent sites. Nice for everyone!

Very quiet park with wonderful staff. Very friendly and helpful. We only stayed one night but they take you to your spot when you check in! So it’s very easy in and easy out. All around great place to stay for one night or for a week.

We were in a deluxe cabin with no hot water. The shower was so cold. I had run a long race and wanted nothing more than a hot shower it was such a disappointment. I tried to use the communal showers and they were also cold! Everything else was so nice but the cold showers were such a disappointment!

The park itself is nice, but what kind of jerk uses their neighbors picnic table to work with their sewer hoses? The guy completely ignored me when I mentioned it being uncool.

The staff was very friendly, however, up until at least 1130 there was a loud party in the cabin, strictly across from my cabin and many other cabins. The quiet time was not enforced. The entire party was very loud and rude and not respectful for others trying to have some quiet time. No enforcement of the 10 o'clock role. Next time I think I'd rather get a hotel.

Nice level rv spots with full hookups they have a play area for the kids and a small dog run for your pets office staff was very helpful and friendly. You just have to deal with train noise
