I’ve always stayed at the KOA. One in Wyoming and the other in South Dakota’s though I love the camp site and it’s always so clean and welcoming. The reason why I’m not coming back to this one in particularly is because the train that passes by it’s so loud. It passes 3-4 time between 10pm-7am. I still went out and explored but it definitely made the experience less enjoyable.

The facilities are clean and the staff are welcoming. The only drawback is the ground around the RV sites is dirty with lots of tree needle debris.

A lovely campground. Had everything we needed and was close to what we wanted to see. Only downside was the trains but that really wasn't too big an issue. I always carry earplugs because someone snores.

The friendliest people. Gorgeous campground. Distance to the waterfalls is great. A huge field for the dogs made it the best place ever for our stops.

We spent 3 nights and loved the park, staff and the things nearby to see and do! For some reason I was unaware that a train ran right behind the campground many times per day. We got used to it but it was a loud horn!

Great place to stay. Very close to the Columbia River Bike path also.

Great for overnight, nice space. Fabulous shade. Easy in and out and we didn’t need to unhook overnight. Great people in charge. Friendly, helpful and prepared.

The RV park was ok, the problem is that a very active trainline goes right next to it. The trains run all night long.

The staff, the grounds, and the facilities are some of the best that we have seen in six years of RVing!

Awesomeness

WiFi was useless in the sites further away from the office. For the price you charge, healthy wifi is expected.

Train was to loud and bathroom men's toilet plugged

Just had a wonderful time there at the campsite. We came for a fishing trip and the location was perfect for fishing the Columbia Gorge and to park fishing boat. Your Staff was friendly and helped us on some items that we forgot to bring. Yes, I would stay here again.

Right on the train tracks. Blows a horn all night long.

The staff here is great - we were impressed with all of them! The actual campground, however, is average. The roads are very tight with tons of trees (at least where we stayed). Despite our spot being designated "pull through," it was difficult to get into and find a good spot so that we could fully open our slides. The other thing was the train horns throughout the evening and late night.

awesome place to stay! Very friendly, knowledgeable Staff.

This KOA is fine for an overnight stay but not very nice overall. The campsites where we stayed had all the grass worn away and was left with a powder dirt that got everywhere. Also, not anything anyone could do about it but a train goes right by the campground at all hours.

Nice campground full of pine trees and berry bushes. Very quiet except when the train would go by. Nice friendly staff

People were wonderful at the office, very helpful. Only issue is that train that runs behind the campground. I would have liked to know about that before I chose a tent site right beside the boundary where the train ran.

Perfect for us - tall trees, full hook-ups, tables, pool, activities, store if needed. Friendly, knowledgeable hosts, in Columbia River Gorge and close to both sides of river by bridge. Close to Hood River for the many events, activities and businesses there. On active, busy train tracks, day and night, which we loved! Will recommend to others and return again! Thanks KOA Cascade Locks.

Nice park and a great long pull through!

We stay here for couple days every summer. Staff is always friendly and helpful. It's a great place to stay and relax

Okay for an overnight and it is very shaded. But the campground is very old and tired. There are train tracks nearby with trains passing all through the day and night. It wasn't too bad (noise) because we were in a site further away from the tracks. The grounds are very dusty and dirty with little grass, so the dogs tracked it into our trailer. I wouldn't stay there again.

Things need a little updating but The Location can not be beat!! Waterfalls , bike trails, the Pacific coast Trail, downtown, EVERYTHING is nearby to do!! What made this stay so wonderful was MARY at the front desk!! She was so personable and so fun and went out of her way to make sure we had information and were having a great time!! We would go back in a heart beat..!!.

Fabulous place to stay! Amongst the tall evergreens so you feel like you are camping in the woods! Close to the Columbia River, the paddle wheeler which we took, the Falls, Fruit Loop south of Hood River! We’d go back again in a heartbeat!

We always stay in cabin 8. It has a kitchen and bathroom. This is a well kept up KOA, with K9 dog park and kids play area. Our cabin even has a television. We stay every year, at least once.

Very nice and clean campground. Had lots of shade and an awesome camp store. The camp store had just about everything a camper needed.

This is our second time to stay here. The location is perfect for all of the activities in the Gorge. Our site was near the road but it was very quiet at night. People remark about the train, but it didn’t bother us. The staff was very friendly and it was nice that they lead you to your site. The pool was closed for the season but we did laundry there and it was very clean.

Absolutely wonderful KOA to stay in with our camp trailer! Hosts were AMAZING. & the amenities as well as the store were such a blessing. The only thing we wished we did differently was bring earplugs for sleeping lol, the train makes a lot of noise!
