RV site was muddy, some clumps of grass, not much gravel. Office and staff great!

Love the trains!

Nice clean park, friendly staff members and a nice location for the area. Very close to Railroad tracks with trains running frequently day and night.

Beautiful setting, very helpful and friendly staff, and very well maintained. Near train tracks but that's hard to get away from in the gorge.

Staff is wonderful! This is a KOA where you really feel like you’re camping. Lots of trees. A true woodland experience.

We were greeted by a very friendly hostess. She was able to put us near some friends of ours since we were on our way to their daughter's wedding. Coming from SW Montana & heading for Hood River, Oregon, it was a nice place to stay and break up the drive. The site was clean & neat with a tree, grass & a table. We will here again on the way home. Thank you, KOA.

Clean campground and friendly staff

We have stayed here many times before in a cabin and in an RV. The employees are helpful and friendly. We stayed in a cabin this time and it was not cleaned or used in a LONG time! My husband found a dead roach in the shower!! YIKES!! The shower was not very clean and it leaked so we had lots of clean up! It would be nice if the office opened earlier say 7 or 8, 0830 is late for us since we are ea

All excellent except all the trains going by and loud whistles.

Stayed 4 nights. Staff friendly & helpful. Sites are paved. Most of campground is under trees. Water pressure high, you will need a water pressure reducer. Train noise, will need headphones with noise cancelling for those having hard time to sleep at night

We had a great weekend there with family. It’s a great location for visiting the farms and activities in Hood River as well as some great restaurants in Cascade Locks. I do hope that you can upgrade your playground as it made me nervous watching my grandchildren play there on outdated equipment. GameTime is a great company for designing playgrounds to your needs.

We n deed a place for one night. Cascade locks was a perfect location.

We enjoyed our stay. We stayed in October, nice weather and cool breezy nights. Clean and well kept campground. Be ready for trains, they run all day and night.

Enjoyed our stay & proximity to explore the area including Bridge of the Gods, Bridal Veil Falls, Multnomah Falls, The Dalles and much more. The only downside was the loud train horn late at night. We knew about it from recent reviews but it was definitely louder than expected.

Disappointed with train noise, otherwise great place to stay.

I was quite pleased with how well management/owners handled a difficult situation that came about and appreciate how quickly they resolved it.

Wonderful park. Love the trees and the fall colors. Lots of train activity but we didn't mind at all. Close to alot of interesting sights.

Just what we expect at a KOA

Overall nice campground. Spacing is adequate. Some of the sites are a little hard to navigate for bigger rigs but overall easy pull throughs and back ins. Staff is pleasant and attendent to problems. We will dontiue to use this as both overnite stays and destination stays.

Beautiful location. Quiet & peaceful.

We always enjoy staying at KOA Cascade Locks. Staff is always very friendly. They take very good care of the Kampgrounds. We even enjoy the sound of the trains going through. Such a pretty place in the fall.

Beautiful area and campground! Very clean and wonderful people working it. Town is the same and all the outdoor activities make it a must stay! Easy drive to Portland area where kids and grandkids live, so even better for us.

Great

We were in a cabin. Double bed mattress very old, collapsed completely when I sat on it so the mattress was 3+ inches below the wood bed frame (hard to get up). TwinMattress made horrible squeeking sounds whenever the person moved (mattress cover rubbed against wood bed frame). Cabin had no little bench, frig or coffee maker (other KoOA's provide these for the same price Cascade Locks charges).

Planes and trains roared all night long. it’s not a good spot for camping overnight.

I liked their bike rental and that store was open until 7pm (except on Sunday).

Wonderful place with spacious sites and easy access to so many great things to do in the Columbia Gorge. Beware that trains go by frequently, so recommend bringing a white noise machine

Campsite and facilities were nice. Trains were loud. Wish all KOAs had longer office hours. Especially in the evenings.

Rating based on the following: 40’ 5th wheel and long bed truck. The pull through surface was crumbling. No issue getting in the site. However, on way out, extremely tight. The way out that made sense had a rock on the turn. It all worked out. Would be helpful one day to include site/park “Starlink rating”. This park is extremely shady. Good news unless you need to connect with Starlink.

Short stay, called for help with cable TV. Said they would send someone over, did not happen. Had to go to office next day for help. The guy who did come, was very helpful and got me up and watching. The issue was on my side, not a park issue.

We always stay here in our way to Newberg Oregon. We are satisfied return guests.

Beautiful setting, nice staff, clean bathrooms, a little traffic and train noise that didn't bother us.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Cabin was mediocre, location was beautiful and grounds were well kept. Overall the cabin need updating and repair, could use an Air conditioner as the cabin was warm. Too stay cool the windows needed to remain open which made sleeping difficult as there were constant and noisy trains. The bed was comfortable, we found the rest of the furniture to be subpar.

Very clean and well kept. Nice people. Only downfall are the trains on the backside of the park. They go all night and sound their horns. Can't sleep through that.

Our stay was very nice, Campground was well maintained, trees are beautiful, and bathrooms are clean and very nice. Only getting used to would be the Train. Haha, but other than that very good experience! We will definitely be back.

Very nice campground and hosts.

Very nice staff but we have a 40' coach with tow car and we found the park super tight to even get to our site. It was a lovely park but I think, at least in the area we were parked 101 the way in and out is really too tight. I did my reservation online, possibly if I had called they would have advised us against this but it was very stressful.

The staff was exceptional! Well-maintained park with spacious sites. The train was close and noisy but wasn’t a deal breaker at all‍

The fuse on the electric kept blowing, so had to stay over there to make coffee. It was not the coach doing it.

We had trouble with our electrical power there. The kid tried to fix but was unable to.

Absolutely wonderful KOA to stay in with our camp trailer! Hosts were AMAZING. & the amenities as well as the store were such a blessing. The only thing we wished we did differently was bring earplugs for sleeping lol, the train makes a lot of noise!
