Stayed in the cabin with the bathroom and shower loved it

Memorial Day weekend 2026. The cabin wasn't as clean as it has been on previous stays (same cabin). This time the floor throughout the cabin had a gritty dirty feel leaving our feet black. We also found charred popcorn flaking off in the largest pot. In addition to a full and used coffee filter inside the coffee maker. The common comment throughout the weekend was how it was not as clean.

I booked last minute for my birthday because we were going riding at bear creek and it was easy to book. The cabin was very nice, functioning heat and ac, room to fit our vehicle with trailer. We cooked out and had a good time. Everything was clean and smelled good. 10/10

Cabin was what we expected . Our only issue was the bathroom door knob/door was damaged and had to lift really hard to get to latch. The bedroom door knob was also loose . Other than that will Stay again

We arrived at 9:30 pm and left upon awakening so can't attest to most of the facilities. Bathhouse great but hooks near sinks or on outside of stall doors for hanging bags would be very helpful. Also, missing hook on one stall should be replaced. Cabin was okay but heat source was insufficient (barely putting out lukewarm air). We stayed Nov 30 so it was VERY COLD!

We stayed at Bear Creek KOA to celebrate Thanksgiving with family. We rented 3 cabins and the indoor pavilion. It was perfect! Every time I stay here I feel very welcome and the cabins are clean and have everything we need!

We had a great time. The cabin was perfect and so clean! The office staff was extremely helpful and friendly. We are already planning to go back in the summer.

Beautiful campground with lots to do! The cabin was clean and comfortable except for the mattress on the bottom full size bunk. It was too firm.

Had a great time I will be back soon. Staff was nice we got a little to loud at one point staff came out politely and ask us to lower the noise he was really kool .

The campground on a whole is incredibly clean, neat and tidy. The staff couldn't be more friendly. If you're in the area, I highly recommend!

Very friendly staff. Was there for work so had an extended stay time. They were very accommodating. The campground is very spacious with alot of activities. The grounds and facilities are kept clean at all times.

We would definitely stay again. The cabin was great, the pony ride was wonderful for our daughter and the trail ride was fun for the husband.

We were very pleasantly surprised by the lovely campground so near to our hometown-- Canton. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The facilities were clean and beautiful. We stayed in a 6 person cabin. The campground was so peaceful and beautiful and fun for us and our young family members (5 kids from 4 to 13). We cherish the few days we stayed as great family memories. Thank you.

Great stay overall. My only complaints: bathrooms at game room were locked in the early morning which makes things very difficult. Also frustrating to think there was a coffee maker (brought our own coffee) to find out it is a keurig. Only given 2 k cups for a 4 person cabin for 3 days. When I went to the office to see if I could buy more in the morning the office was closed until 9:30.

The grounds are beautiful. The staff super friendly and helpful. This year was ten years since our last visit. My kids brought their kids this time. It was magical! We are making it a summer tradition everyone enjoyed themselves so much.

We had an absolutely amazing time at KOA in Canton!! This was our family’s first time camping and we couldn’t have been more pleased with our experience. What drew us to this particular campsite was the activities, specifically the horseback riding, fishing and the planned family activities. Our cabin was adorable and well-maintained and the family who runs the camp was so kind and caring!

It start off by being lied too or misled, I asked for a 2 bedroom which I pd 170.00 a night for, got a 1 bedroom with no couch the microwave was dirty, the rest of the cabin was fine, I was told someone else wanted that cabin so they gave it to them, how can they double book a cabin?? Overall stay was great. We had a brand new cabin and it was amazing! The pool is beautiful and the horse really ride was fun!! There's some up keep around the mini golf that needs attention. We couldn't catch any fish and seen a lot of turtles. We wished there were more kid/Family activities during the week - seems like everything is only on the weekends. Very clean campground.

Our family truly enjoyed our cabin stay. The kids enjoyed all of the activities, paddle boating, fishing, swimming and hiking about. We always enjoy the deluxe cabin.

Everything was Perfect :-) We Took our two young Grandsons -couldn't have had more fun! Swimming -Playgrounds.. Putt Putt golf.. Horseback Riding...Fishing & more. Our cabin was very clean & had well equipped kitchen. Fun outdoor sitting area with firepit. Everyone loved the swings. Staff super helpful and friendly! They even delivered our firewood to our cabin. Highly Recommend!

We've been here quite a few times over the years, and this is the only place we choose to camp. Everything is keept very clean and tidy. Everyone is always very nice and helpful with any needs we may have! We really enjoy our time every time we are there. We hope to be back again soon!

I would like to start by saying it rained on and off the whole weekend. We really enjoyed our family time while at East Sparta KOA. We had 4 generations in the deluxe cabin. Inside space was limited while it rained but we were able to handle it by good planning on our part. The patio area was awesome and we have already booked the cabin again. However, some furniture was not comfortable.

We rented a cabin for a two night stay. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed except extra blankets directions for heat. However, the master bed was horribly uncomfortable. We ended up moving to the bunk bed, which was also terribly uncomfortable.

Everything was horrible, cabin ,trails, trash and things everywhere. Price was ridiculous, rented cabin for 2 nights and had to pay extra for trails. It was so terrible I left after only 1 night.

Highly recommend. The whole campground was nice. The grass, dog area and walking trails were well maintained. The bathhouses were spotless.
