We are bringing change and innovation to our campground! Stay tuned as we roll out our "Naturally Butte" program components
Defining our Kamp Green Program Events, Activities and Initiatives by:
1. Upgrading our ecofriendly landscaping features:
a. Building water catchment sculptures (Butte Headframe shape with barrels
below) - 4 headframe sculptures (to be placed along planting, exploration
areas in park)
b. Creating a permanent outdoor "classroom/meeting space" for eco-discussion as a
designated outdoor gathering space (Counsel Ring/Community Hub for eco-
education discussion, workshop, volunteerism, conservation activities, special
events and collaboration outdoor seating) along our native plant and produce
gardens, invasive species exhibits and community walking trail.
2. Expanding our conservation and energy saving infrastructure by:
a. Creating a permanent solar awning/solar canopy along our "Buddy Sites" - sites
315-328 (Phase 1) to provide shade, produce renewable electricity and reduce
grid consumption.
That doesn't mean this area has to always be empty. When you start reviewing camping options, your history will display here to help compare sites and find the best stay. You will be able to share your stay information with friends or family and save it for a later time if you have a KOA Account.
