This stay was a bookend back and front to a trip to Houston. It was very pleasant and when we got back from being in the big cities, we really appreciated Burkburnett the more. Things don't always go right, the water was off briefly because someone broke a line, but they had it fixed within an hour on a Sunday. That must have been expensive, you can tell they prioritize getting things back normal.

Everything was nice. Friendly staff. Easy check-in. The only problem we had was the grassy areas. We have puppies and they were covered in stickers from the areas around our site. That was disappointing.

My husband and I had never stayed at a KOA before, and let me tell you, our experience was unbelievable. The cabin for two was cozy, warm, and clean. Thank you, KOA/Burkburnett, for welcoming us and going the extra mile to help my family and me have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Upon arrival we were missing bedding for the bunks, + there were no towels provided. Even though when I called to confirm linens included + they said just make a note for towels and we did + the lady said no towel bc we don't have a bathroom- uh we do have a bathrom- it's just not attached- do you not expect us to take showers? Cabin was well maintained + clean. Bathrooms not

Super friendly staff and guests. Dirk was a big help in refilling my propane tanks and giving me a ride to and from the RV with the tanks.

We enjoy staying at this KOA as a stop on our way between here and there. It is quiet and clean. We have not used any of the facilities as we are self contained but the sites are clean. My only negative comment would be the children on the bicycles. They were flying around the RV while we checked in, or obtained our site info since we arrived after closing. There was a terrible noise all night long. Had to get up several times in the middle of the night to make sure it wasn't our fridge beeping. There must be an oil rig or some sort of equipment close by that literally kept us awake all night. Sort of sounds like an old rusty swing set swinging ALL NIGHT LONG. Grounds were not kept up very well. Dog park was not very nice which is important to us.

Stayed here to take in some sites in Wichita Falls and in Oklahoma Wichita Mountains. Nice and quiet camp. Great workers. No issues.

Office staff is great. Stores close by. Delivery available. Is road quiet. Large amount of full time. Some questionable. Police there every day. They put me next to one and he made this rating low for me. Dog poo everywhere. No comply to park rules. He didnt leash his dogs. Music all nite, drinking. Tip: stay to the concrete slab sites to stay a spell! Then you wont be next to full timers.

Electrical didn't work at my assigned spot. I had to use electric box from another site. I arrived late so I didn't have anyone to talk to and it took me longer to get set up to get much needed rest. Everything else was fine.

We have stayed here several times while traveling from Colorado, and found the grounds and staff to be best in class in Northern Texas. We have stayed in our travel van and this trip sampled the well appointed and comfortable cabins. KOA App is our only complaint.

Grounds are nice, facilities upgraded and staff very friendly. We were late arrivals, so couldn’t expect clean restrooms and showers. Drains in newly tiled floors lacked enough fall to keep water off floors and down drains. Potential solution would be to sponge mop restrooms 2X/day. The cute cabin we stayed in was perfect, cozy and comfortable! �

Besides the cricket in the wall all night,dead crickets along the walls of the cabin,it was a place to sleep. Wish a small m/wave was offered to make hot H2O. The bankers hours of office are unfortunate.

This place is a gem, Staff was knowledgeable of the surrounding area, very helpful in all ways, polite and professional. We stayed in a cabin that was clean, loaded with everything you may need for all the comforts of home. RV spaces were very clean, quite and well maintained. The entire property was well kept and a charming place to stay. Definitely stay here again while traveling through the area. In fact I would go out of my way 100 miles to stay here again because of safety and everything mentioned above. Thank you Jim, Patricia, JB, and the entire staff. GOD BLESS YOU All

We rented a cabin for a day and it was amazing! The beds were comfortable, the cabin was clean, the staff and other campers were very nice. Even got to take pictures with the cows across the street. We highly would recommend a stay here and enjoy the town!
