This weekend getaway was exactly what we needed! Rented the 2 room cabin with half bath. Very clean, cozy and spacious. Met one of the owners, he was very helpful and a super nice guy. He offered to give us a tour of the other cabins. Golf cart rental was a great experience. The 2 pools are definitely a plus. Overall 10/10 Recommend

I was told there was going to be wood for a campfire and never received it. The boys we're looking forward to it,otherwise we had a wonderful time.

We had a great time swimming,fishing,grilling and visiting with family. And everyone we had dealings with was nice and professional. Cabin was clean and comfy.

Cabin #3, son and family stayed, cabin was perfect for their family, clean, comfortable beds, rented linens is a great convenience, love the porch overlooking the pond, parking next to cabin was easy for loading car, staff was friendly and helpful before and during stay, special thanks to Casey for helping set up arrangements and followup calls. Golf cart rental was a nice option, laundromat.

The cottage was nice and cool when we arrived. Very clean. The furniture was a tad bit uncomfortable to sit on. But I guess that can be expected from rustic furniture. The shower was awful. Hardly any water pressure and it felt like we didn’t get clean. Way too many turtles in the pond. Couldn’t really fish as they were always stealing the bait off our hooks. Campground was nice.

We love Brookeland KOA. We have been having our family reunion there now for about 10 years. I have already booked for next year! Thank you Tony for all you do!

This was our 12th family reunion at Brookeland/Sam. Rayburn KOA. We love it there. Tony and his wife are amazing. They work very hard to make your stay a great experience. We’ll be back next year!!

We were delighted to find the refrigerator in our cabin (#9). We enjoyed the swing and the big bench. We love how you let everything grow without trimming/trim very little. Everyone was nice, friendly, and helpful. The camp is clean and tidy - just beautiful. We had a wonderful time. Thank you.

It was the 1st time ever staying at a KOA and beleive me it was the best. The cabin was way more than what we were expecting and the people at the campgrounds were the best. They made us feel right at home and they should all be awarded in some way. Thank you all for giving us a great expevirnce.

The cabins are small which is fine but absolutely nothing is provided and the beds are literally the same as you would find in county jail.

Great place to stay. We stayed in a cabin. Very close to the lake. We were blessed with very nice weather for memorial weekend. We even had a cool breeze in the mornings and evenings. I did have one issue. I looked through the whole website and material given to us and could not find anywhere that there were no towels or kitchen essentials. A list of suggested items would have been helpful.

Staff was excellent. Park was immaculate. the cabins were so nice. Our family members ran in four of the cabins, all were very nice. Super clean, more than we could have expected. Rented the horse barn for a birthday party hosting 100 or more people. Was the perfect spot. Will definitely be back.

Enjoyed my time at the KOA. Very accommodating staff. The only thing I have an issue with is the beds. After long hours out on the water fishing, rest is a must. Hopefully they will address this in the near future. No matter though, I'll be back again soon

We have stayed at several KOA over the years and all have been good. The main thing that sets this KOA apart are the people and staff than own/run the Brookeland KOA. They are fantastic. Camp sites are nice, cabins are nice as well. Stayed in both. 2 pools for the kids to swim. If you are looking for a place to stay, look them up. Joe

Many thanks to Tony! Our stay is always great. The staff is friendly, the grounds are clean, the cabin/cottage/lodge are always clean. We're treated like neighbors they've know for years. We look forward to being at KOA every April. Nice place for a vacation with easy access to fishing Sam Rayburn. Looking forward to next year already! ThanksTony, Becca and the crew!

The staff was very informative and helpful and kept the place so clean. The bathroom we spotless every time. Please add a couple more trash cans for poop pickup disposal.

This was one of the best KOA we have stayed. The KOA has multiple areas where RV’s are nestled among the trees for privacy They have two pools, horse barn, stalls, riding paths, pet park. Best are the cabins that over look the fishing ponds. It is a perfect setting. The staff and owner were awesome!! Thanks for a great stay!! We will be back!

We had a great time up untill we had one of our fishing poles stolen and someone took our fish out of our fish basket. Guess we will just have to start locking up our stuff when we stay. We have stayed at the brookland koa alot and this incident won't keep us from staying again but we will keep our stuff locked up from now on

Booked weekend, first night half cabin couldn't sleep. Bed was so uncomfortable hurt mine, husbands and sons back. Receptionist said if I upgraded to pond cabin ($80-90 bucks more) the beds was thicker and more comfortable. Not true, even took bunk bed mattresses and added to bed, back hurt so much was unable to enjoy the campground or do anything fun with family. Waste of money, back still hurtin

We stay at this KOA alot for our son's high school fishing tournaments. We love the place., but there a few things they could change. One.. late check out or early check in is $15. And two there aren't curtains separating the bathroom area in some of the cabins. So the toilet is just sitting in the room with the bed/beds. Other than that it's a nice, clean place to stay with friendly staff!

Owner is really nice. Place is kept clean. I would like more umbrellas or shade for the pool area. It gets very hot.
