They close at 5:00, but called earlier in the day and knew we would arrive about 5:00. We got there at 5:05 they were already closed, so no one to show us to site. There was a large tree in the middle of the road right behind our site, so difficult to navigate. The hookups were really far apart and the sewer drain was about a foot above ground which made it really hard to drain our tanks.

We stayed in a cabin. The cabin was Very clean and comfortable. The staff was beyond helpful. The facility appears to be ran Very efficiently. We are returning in March with our RV. Thanks to the staff for helping us.

Tony and his family provided one of the best vacations we've ever had. The facility is spotlessly maintained, assistance is provided rapidly when needed, and the staff is dedicated to guest satisfaction. If you want a relaxing, peaceful stay in the woods - this is your place.

The only problem we had was the electricity was off several times, but that wasn't the koa's fault. We will return in the future.

The lodge we stayed in should have had more attention before guest arrived. Lights needed replacing and the pull chain didn’t work, the smoke alarm did not have a battery and the cover was hanging open, the tv remote did not work, and the chair on the porch was broken with the potential for gust injury.

Very quiet and peaceful. Enjoyed staying in cabin 12, as it is a little away from everyone else Cabin was clean, staff was really friendly. Very enjoyable.

Camp sites flooded every time it rained as much as 3 to 4 inches of water you had to walk in to get to your vehicle we’re not allowed to do anything lay carpet on the ground couldn’t put up a small canopy not allowed I know I person who worked there that was promised some many hours but never got them a lot of work needed to be done but always complained didn’t have the money to do right now

Toilet was very flow to flush and no hot water in sink. The complimentary campfire wood was great. Office staaff great.

Clean. We stayed the first week of Jan and the Christmas lights were still up. Beautiful to walk around and see everything lit up at night. Clean laundry and bathroom. Staff friendly, helpful and made us feel welcome. Love the site . Would definitely come back.

This was the greatest KOA we have ever been to! The staff was unbelievably kind and the decorations around the property were a nice touch. The shop sells or rents anything you might have forgotten to bring. The trails around the property were dog friendly and we can’t wait to visit again!

WE stayed in an RV site while our kids and grandkids rented 2 cabins over the Thanksgiving weekend. Our stay was excellent, the grounds are great and Tony and his whole staff are the very best

Overall the staff was good. We were in pull thru spot #9. It rained heavy and our spot was surrounded by water 3-4” deep. We had a deck so we could at least get on there to stay dry. All the other spots drained water off very well but #9 was very low and water from spots # 10 & #8 drained into ours. We we left, I had to get into the muddy water to disconnect. This really needs to be fixed. Hazar

Nice and quiet enjoyed our stay.. could use some more gravel in the spots because due to rain rv spot was holding some water and was messy to walk in and out of the rv. Will definitely return, staff was friendly and very helpful

This was our second time staying at BROOKELAND/LAKE SAM RAYBURN KOA and we loved it. Great place to enjoy the campfire. Patio site was fantastic. We'll be back!

This is a great get away place, camping, fishing, etc. We stayed to look at other property and had little to no phone service and our wi-fi as well as the campground wi-fi was spotty at best, so it was hard to schedule visits and research while we were there. The workers were friendly and helpful.

One of the nicest weeks we’ve had in a while! Clean campgrounds! Great people!! Quiet neighbors!!! It was amazing. We will be back!! Close to Lake Rayburn! Plenty of space for our camper and boat! The patio site was awesome! Chairs by the fire pit and a table and chairs with umbrella for eating outside! Highly recommended!

The area we were in was very peaceful and quiet. The patio with the sunken firepit and nice furniture was such a treat and kept us out of the mud. Tony went out of his way to make it possible for us to watch a pro football game on Sunday. Now, that's customer service!

Love this KOA RV park! Clean, affordable, lots of amenities, friendly staff and owner, great WIFI...what's not to like?! Highly recommend this park for anyone seeking to visit the area.

We had an excellent time this past weekend. Staff were friendly and helpful. Very relaxing and laid back atmosphere. Pools were clean, bath houses had hot water, very roomy and clean. Will definitely be back.

We love the KOA in Brookland, The staff are very friendly and helpful, We stay at this one at lease 2 to 3 times a year. I will tell anyone to go and Meet Tony and the Staff there.

Owner is really nice. Place is kept clean. I would like more umbrellas or shade for the pool area. It gets very hot.
