Stayed a month, Jan/Feb. nice quiet place to stay! Tall Pines, Tons of hiking trails! Staff is like family too! Clean well kept. Also a really nice state park close by. We will be back again the next trip Texas!! Jesse&Alice/Minnesota

Stayed only one night so really can not speak for the amenities. We had MH trouble and didn’t arrive until 8:30 pm. When you first enter there is a sign that points to different site numbers. I had a map so I knew which way to turn. After that no signs no arrows no nothing. The park is dark � but the paper map is confusing. They really need to put up signs showing where pointing to your site

Nice place to stay reasonably priced on cabins, and only thing I would like to see improved is the lights for the streets very dark and hard to see the road but other than that it was well worth it will be back again!

Stayed here a few days. Super staff and the owner is awesome. Some sites are really under the trees and some in the open. I never used the pool or the restrooms/laundry. Not far from the lake, but a ways to town.

A great park in an attractive and secluded setting. A great place to relax and enjoy. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended.

Everything was fine. My only concern is how spread out it is. I don't have a vehicle other than my motor coach, so getting to the laundry room and such from the site I was in would have been quite an undertaking had I stayed there long enough to need to do laundry, So that will be a consideration for future planning.

What a beautiful place! Nice level parking, wonderful green spaces, fishing pond and turtles! Great walking/bike paths as well. The staff and Tony were friendly, helpful and just nice people all round. They went out of their way for us as we were having some issues with our RV.

They rent golf carts but you can’t bring your own. Map/info sheet given at check-in completely contradicts the no UTV’s rule hiding on the website. Several cats roaming and fighting with my dog asa well as climbing on everything you set out. Don’t try to cook outside or you will get cats all over your stuff.

Super clean inside and out. The cabin had everything we could possibly need. Peaceful. Quiet. Absolutely loved staying here.

Our first time experience here, Amazing! Staff all around were kind and smiling every time we saw them. We have two suggestions to make it even better here! 1. Add some 110v plug-ins to patio sites! On site 42 for sure:) 2. Have grounds keep or post to keep the bath/shower doors open eliminating strong mildew buildup & smell at bay. The man who is a retired vet, & brings your wood is outstanding!

Love this KOA. Great location, clean bathrooms with lots of hot water, friendly staff, exceptional WIFI with great connectivity and speeds, competitive pricing, what's not to like? Highly recommend Brookeland KOA!

Great peaceful quiet stay. Beautiful rustic woodland campground. Very clean showers. We had a great experience there. The 2 pools were well maintained and very relaxing. Thank you for providing a wonderful place to stay while we were passing thru the area!!!

The host were helpful, and the General Store was well stocked. For things not available the staff directed us to a local market less than a mile away. The cabin was clean and had more amenities than expected. Price was comparable to a good hotel chain without slamming doors and people upstairs stomping on floors. A very relaxing and enjoyable 4 days. We will be back.

Low voltage on site, was supposed to be 50 amp service but on the first night we had left Rv for several hours to visit friends and up on return 50 amp breaker at pedestal was tripped. We only had two AC units running which should only be around 30 amp requirement. I shut off all other breakers in pedestal and voltage did rise enough for the surge protector to turn on allow AC units to again run..

We arrived late Friday I made sure and called before to tell them we would arrive late . We arrived to no linens then we were not informed ahead of time that we needed to bring our own wash cloth and towels. So we had to go purchase them. The pull out couch was gross with food and burn stains. Then I purchased a cup for 70.00 was under the impression it was a stanley no beware they are off brands.

Owner is really nice. Place is kept clean. I would like more umbrellas or shade for the pool area. It gets very hot.

What a lovely place. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The cabins come with small fridge/microwave and coffeemaker. The only thing that annoys me is a toilet next to the bunkbed. The toilet is in the room and no half walls or (at least) a curtain. I am sorry, but I am not going to the bathroom in front of my kids or grandkids. I should stop being cheap and rent the 2 bedroom, then you get a room for your toilet. We are retired and on a budget. We try to spend the least. Great location (not the toilet)!
