It was a very cozy campground and was close to many sites that had our interest. The campground staff was excellent and provided plenty of useful information. We would definitely come this way again!

Restful, spacious, great landscaping, hosts met us; wifi works; sewer ports nicely laid out n protected. Water feeds should have backflows n post support.

met by host and shown our site. he was very friendly and told us to call if any questions or problems. bathrooms were close by and very nice and clean and the showers had hot water. did not use laundry but laundry room clean and equipment was in like new condition. only problem we experienced was the gnats. they were everywhere! good reason virtually everyone at campground stayed inside.

Great visit to area. Americus KOA centrally located to Plains, Andersonville and Lake Blackshear. Good, clean, maintained campground. Spacious sites. Would stay here again. We have a 44ft Class A

I stayed just for one night. the campground is 25 miles of of I-75 in the historic town of Americas Georgia and on a golf course

The sites are spread apart. Staff was friendly and explained all the amenities. Very nice grounds.

Hate we didnt have a fire pit but we loved our stay there in Americus and the hosts Tom and his wife were awesome as well. Will certainly go back there sometime as its a nice facility.

Check in was extremely confusing, had to call a phone number to check in and get escorted to the site, NO OFFICE at the campground! basically camping in a field. VERY disappointing.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Sorry you were confused upon arrival but we like to personally escort all guests to their site during office hours. We have three signs that say Stop Here and state the details. For your convenience one night stays receive Express Check-In and going to the office was not necessary.

Very courteous staff to greet us as we arrived. Very clean campgrounds. The only thing I have to say that can be changed is the address given on the internet is different than the campground. Address provided is located in a strip mall a few miles past the campgrounds.

Lovely quiet grounds, spotless restrooms and showers, appreciated being escorted to our site. Staff is top notch, having been very helpful to me when I needed to adjust my dates somewhat. Would absolutely recommend.

This is a lovely campground with wide spaced grass lots. It's far away enough from the highway to hear little noise. It has woods on one side with fields on the other, and we enjoyed hearing birds when the windows were open. The laundry and shower house were very clean, but at one end so some sites would be a walk. All sites are full hook up, 50 amp. There is no pool.

Great time. We were treated so good from the greeter at the front, to the lady in the office. We had fun golfing and just enjoying the relaxing atmosphere. We will definitely be back and will tell everyone about KOA Americus .
