Very pretty grounds. Very quiet at night. Only recommendation is more lighting in the bathroom/shower, especially over the sinks

Hate we didnt have a fire pit but we loved our stay there in Americus and the hosts Tom and his wife were awesome as well. Will certainly go back there sometime as its a nice facility.

Check in was extremely confusing, had to call a phone number to check in and get escorted to the site, NO OFFICE at the campground! basically camping in a field. VERY disappointing.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Sorry you were confused upon arrival but we like to personally escort all guests to their site during office hours. We have three signs that say Stop Here and state the details. For your convenience one night stays receive Express Check-In and going to the office was not necessary.

Very courteous staff to greet us as we arrived. Very clean campgrounds. The only thing I have to say that can be changed is the address given on the internet is different than the campground. Address provided is located in a strip mall a few miles past the campgrounds.

Lovely quiet grounds, spotless restrooms and showers, appreciated being escorted to our site. Staff is top notch, having been very helpful to me when I needed to adjust my dates somewhat. Would absolutely recommend.

This is a lovely campground with wide spaced grass lots. It's far away enough from the highway to hear little noise. It has woods on one side with fields on the other, and we enjoyed hearing birds when the windows were open. The laundry and shower house were very clean, but at one end so some sites would be a walk. All sites are full hook up, 50 amp. There is no pool.

Great time. We were treated so good from the greeter at the front, to the lady in the office. We had fun golfing and just enjoying the relaxing atmosphere. We will definitely be back and will tell everyone about KOA Americus .

Great place! We were in a tent and I've never camped next to a golf course before. The campground host was exceptionally nice; she checked on us several times. Restrooms were spotless. We even had an exterior light that we could turn on and off! They seemed to think of everything.

Brief stay, the people there are very friendly and super helpful! Our only complaint was the really rough roads in the park(that they are starting to repair) and that the grass was a bit soft for my wife’s wheelchair. We very much enjoyed the quiet, peacefulness this park had! Hopefully we will get back there again someday!

Americus KOA is our favorite get away. Great facility with awesome staff and amenities. They’re working on improvements all the time. This weekend in particular they were working on the roads and spring cleaning. Everything looks great.

Thanks for fixing the broken circuit breaker so fast. Monthly campers stayed up talking outside loud enough to hear. At least the did stop at quiet hours.

We camped here the month of February. Really enjoyed daily golfing, acquiring new friends and super friendly staff. The course is a little rough in the winter but becomes a lot friendlier as it greens up. Plenty of water & sand challenges and never had an issue getting on the course. With Americus within a 10 minute drive it was convenient for groceries and supplies.
