We stayed in the cabins and had a great weekend. My kids loved the pond/playground/volleyball setup.

I had a group of 6 families with a total of 4 camp sites. We all called with at least 4 weeks in advance to ensure all of our sites were next to each other.KOA ended up giving away two of our campsites.One of the families had to share campsites with a total stranger then moved the next day.The other family was given a site way further then moved near after having to have a conversation with owner.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We were a full campground this weekend and as stated on website site locations are not guartanteed. Your friends booked after you and with on line reservations they get first pick so we cannot control when sites will be taken. We put you all in a row as a service to you the best we could.

KOA overbooked their site.It had a negative impact to our experience! We had made reservations way in advance & some of our friends were given distant spots when we specifically reserved contiguous spots. Owner came to our site only offering us to share an unknown guest’s space. We asked compensation for the inconvenience. IGNORED! Well kept facilities; the other staff was friendly & attentive

We were a full campground but not over booked. Sites are given as called in, your friends booked after you and got the sites that was closest to you as we were full. We did get you all in a row as a service to you the best we could accomodate with what sites were left.

All staff were friendly and accommodating from check-in to departure. The weekend activities and crafts were an additional bonus to an already clean and well maintained campground. I would highly recommend staying here!

Staff is friendly. I feel a few trees that are in strategic locations should be removed to make backing in and out easier. Most sites are a bit smaller than I’d prefer. I think it’s over priced, especially when you consider it’s not a full hookup campground.

We had a really great site near the pond / playground area with a patio. The staff tried to make a fun weekend for the kids with lots of activities. Facilities are very clean.

We had wonderful people working at the campground, who made sure we were able to get our camper backed in and out safely. Very clean. We would stay there again.

I was placed on the wrong lot and nothing was really done about it so I just offered for them to put their tent on my site and they could use my Fire pit. They stayed there for one night and when I returned Saturday night, they were gone. I booked everything last minute since I was in town for a wedding but just wish something was done about having to share a site?!

Great staff. Very nice restrooms and shower facilities. The ice cream at the ice cream shop is really good.

We had a great time. The cabin we stayed at was clean, the bathrooms were clean and the whole campground was well taken care of.

We had to move several times to find a spot on our lot to level the motorhome without lifting tires off the ground. You need a couple tandem loads of fill to make he lot reasonable.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

we put you in a 50 ap pull thru site as you requested for your 32' Motorhome. That was the only 50 amp site available and its a nice grassy site. We try to accomodate the campers in comparable sites if they are available. If our big rig sites up front were open we could of put you on one of those.

I called a week before to cancel my campground stay seeing as I had some medical stuff come up and wasn't going to be able to make my camping trip, wouldn't refund the money, then I was called the day I was supposed to be there at 10pm asking if I was showing up, and still didn't give me my money back and then proceeded to charge me

On our cancellation policy it states special event weekends are non refundable and it states on your email confirmation. We offered to move your reservation out to the end of the year as a service to our campers. You stated you was moving.

The bathroom and showers were extremely clean. Staff was friendly. Overall I enjoyed camping at KOA Weidman. The kids enjoyed their stay as well utilizing the playscape and swimming pond. Issues: tons of wasps at the campsite, my wife got stung. The firewood was expensive which is what it is but for that price I expect something other than mainly the thin outer part of a tree.

Felt welcome from the time we checked in. Bathrooms and shower facilities are up to date and clean. Didn’t matter what time of day or night they were clean. I’ve cream was awesome.

This is my favorite place to camp and I drive from Nebraska to visit family and camp at many different locations. I stayed at this campground five times for 3 to 5 nights at a time and have never had a bad experience. The entire staff is committed to making your stay memorable and they really keep the grounds looking great. I am ready for my next trip and only wish it was not 770 miles away.

Your campground was very full for the weekend yet it was very quiet and we really enjoyed ourselves. The quiet is what we needed. Our neighbors were very friendly and your staff was very helpful. Thank you so much.

No laundry facilities, no WiFi and then they tried to put me in a spot that was not level and too small. The guy that showed me that spot said the last tenant used 5 concrete blocks to get level. They then moved us to a nice spot in overflow with no sewer! They did not discount the price because of the 3 no’s.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We have"pending" on our website for the laundry and wifi as they are beyond our control to get as supplies are unavailable to the suppliers. We don't have on our website that we have sewer at the sites but as a service to our campers we have a honey wagon and a dump station to provide you with.

We stayed in a cabin. It was wonderful! Very stress free way to camp. The managers here are so kind and helpful. They said they had been having a problem with theft from the cabins, but my only suggestion would be a mirror and blinds or full curtains on the windows. We just hung a beach towel over the curtain rod for privacy. Overall a great experience

Everything was great besides can not bring in own wood and the price for the quantity of wood bought from the campground was outrageous

Jamie Thank you for staying with us. As with any products these days , our wood suppliers have increased in price also. We buy a superior product that burns hot and is free from any bugs we don't want in our trees. Kiln dried wood is more expensive but a great product.

Camp ground was nice. Clean. Bathrooms were good. Swimming pond was good. Playground was good. The only negative and its a big one. They advertise theme weekends. We planned on events for kids and they were a huge ket down. Some of the language implied prizes. Turns out the prizes were ones you had to buy. We had a nice weekend but dont go if you expect true kids activities.

Thank you for staying with us. Our Huntin for Treasures weekend did have prizes with some of the scavenger hunts but some were games for the kids to do on there own. Sorry for the confusion, if we would of known we could of provided your kids with a prize or treat.

Stayed one night. Owner very friendly and helpful. Restroom was among the best I have seen. Site was not level, needed some work to level trailer. Dump station not a good design. To get lined up with the drain the trailer raised up on the drain side. Needed to raise the other side to get the tanks to drain better..

Super small sights. We have a 10’ pop up and our 10x10 canopy was touching our pop up and the camper next to us. The firepit for our neighbors behind us was 3’ from our pop up. The group that has 7 sites behind us was loud all day and well into the night with their kids running through our site all day long. The camp store was closed when we were packing up Monday morning and wanted to grab ic

Whitney we seen the camper next to you moved after we parked them in the correct spot. We couldn't do anything after they were set up and had moved themselves. We have the phone on us if you could of called us about the kids we could of solved the problem. Our store opens at 1100 am on Mondays.

Our site for our 35’ 5th wheel was horrible. An uphill site, very sandy, fire pit off to the side (back of camper, also still on the hill). Not very comfortable or practical for such a large camper, or any camper for that matter. This should not be a site.

Thank you for staying with us Pete. That site is an angle site and that is why the firepit is on the side. If you would of told us when you were escorted there we could of pulled you in there a different way to accomodate you.

You had come here from cancelling from another campground and we got you a nice site. We do not have advrtised to have wifi or washers and dryers. We sent you to a nice resturant and laundry facility to get wifi and laundry done. We are trying to get wifi and laundry in in the future.

Very nice campground. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Lots of trees, large sites, fenced dog area, kids playground, pond, cabins, camp store.
