We chose this campground because it was close to our family reunion. It was fine for our purpose, which was just for sleeping. We did have difficulty getting set up, as the site was not very level and there was a tree that made it challenging to position our unit so we could extend our awning. The bathrooms and showers were nice and clean and we loved having an ice cream shop on site.

Very nice park, staff was very friendly and helpful! Just wish it had Full Hookup sites!

The cabin and staff were great. The check in process, $100 cash deposit (I was not informed of a head of time) and the check out process needs improvement. Very hard wait time for both check in and check out �

I thought the park was very nice, but the weird color of the pond made me avoid it. The horseshoe pits could use a little love too.

Thank you Mike for the review. Our pond is treated with organic blue coloring to inhibit the ultra violet rays from creating algae in the pond. There is no problems in swimming in it and it's tested by the health dept. Again thank you for staying.

Only slight problem is the swimming pond, that looks like pure chemicals. Otherwise, great campground and friendly hosts.

We appreciated the fact that we could reserve for just one night. We thought it was rather costly compared to other campgrounds we have stayed at, though. That's one of the reasons for the lower rating. A huge plus was their very friendly and helpful staff. The bathhouse was well maintained, which was another plus.

We have stayed at Weidman KOA a few times in the last couple years, always a great experience. John and Patti and their entire staff are amazing and we love coming up there

It’s a great campground but in the middle of nowhere. I think it would be a great place for locals to enjoy a weekend of camping but there is no attraction near by. The place was a ghost town but it was the cleanest facility I’ve seen in years. Ants were a bit much to handle at my camp site that was the only negative

Fell short of our KOA expectations, sites were small, overpriced and a bit messy; had to go to town and purchase a 50 ft hose to add to our hose to reach water; no trash pick up; lacking many of the amenities of other KOAs. Personnel guiding us in to our site seemed inexperienced (neighboring camper had the same complaint); office staff were cordial - however outside staff very unfriendly.

Nice open campsite with water and electric. Great entertainment playing for 4 hours in the evening. Peaceful and relaxing. Worth it.

The staff was great. We stayed on a tent site that was advertised as a "grass pad" after a nice rain the "dirt pad" was total mud. There were 4 tent sites in a row , ours was lovely, however, our neighbor was not in a a tent but a lovely large camper with 3 children, lots of family and/or friends and who really did not know what quiet time means. We didn't see any staff monitoring this either. :(

The people are great. The campground is nice, lots of shade on sites. The price is not worth the stay. I camp in a tent and I can camp at a state park with many similar amenities for half the price. I know the park is still being developed and the newest additions are very nice but do not justify the price at this time.

Staff was great cabin was real clean the only complaint I have is having to wait to 10 am to get my security deposit back office should Open earlier to me 10 is was to late to have to wait.

Very nice staff, clean restrooms and showers. The cabin we stayed in was clean and welcoming. The swimming pond is always my favorite, clean, relaxing, not too deep, well maintained.

It was very nice. A lot of nice big trees for shade. One time at gate we had to wait about 10 minutes to get back in because people was checking in. After talking to the owners they said we should of went inside and they would of let us go around the other way.

The hosts were so friendly and helpful! We were only staying one night on our destination to the UP but wish we could have stayed longer. Definitely will stay here again when back in the area and this time will plan for more nights! John was so helpful with a referral to Olson Tire to replace our bad trailer tires before we continued on our trip.

Nice camp grounds lots of mature trees. Bring leveling equipment as many site a not flat. No sewer hookup but very nice bath house. Beautiful area

We came from Alaska headed for Maine on a road trip and loved this place. Got a tent site and it was perfect. Next to showers, laundry, and bathrooms. 3 things we really needed. Haha. Frogs in the pond, nature trail, our kind of place. The host was great. Made sure our stay was top notch. It was!

Location is a little off the beaten path but it's still pretty nice. Owner is very friendly and accommodating. It's really a cool place to visit.
