Perfect campground for kiddos! Bathrooms and showers are well kept and the staff was super friendly.

The campground was nice. The price of fire wood was extremely high and didn’t get much wood. And every time my kids went for ice cream it was a different price for the same order every time. So the office staff needs to work on being consistent.

Thank you for staying with us. As everything has gone up in price so has our wood suppliers. We have no control over there expenses and the wage they pay there help. It is passed on to us the buyer to resell. Our staff is young and all learning the best they can, first big weekend for them.

Our family loved the campground, and will go back! But, prices are extremely high for fire wood and in the store, and you pay extra per person, which is not ideal when you have a large family. Scheduled events are great for kids, however their schedule changed a few times without letting families know in advance. Campsites are extremely close together, but we enjoyed our site regardless.

Thank you for staying with us! Happy to hear the kids likes the actvities. We did have to move times around due to running behind on some things like candy bar bingo and such. Our wood prices are what our suppliers sell it to s for and everything has gone up due to higher wages.

Sites are super small and cramped, description of site was deceiving. Limited and poor quality facilities considering the price. Quiet hours not enforced. Very disappointed.

Very few sites available at the time you booked, as is why you got the site you did. We would of liked to give you a bigger site. We do rounds for quite time up to 1 am. You could of called us and we would could of come down to tell them there voices were carrying. Thank you for staying with us.

did not get the lot numbers we were suppose to, made our party very upset. The campfire wood was a huge ripoff, we spent over $ 80. for your wood which was a fast burning small amount for 3 nights. Your absolute no outside wood, even from your area, absolutely sucks. Restrooms and showers were nice.

Your group was all together as being sites were limited for the holiday weekend already, your group was not in a square but in line. We tried to accomodate alll the groups to keep them together. Everything has gone up in price even the price our wood suppliers sell it to us.

Your group was still all together, in order to accomodate, being it was a holiday weekend and not many sites left we didn't have you in a square but in line so we could keep all our groups next to each other best we could. Thank you for staying with us.

Campground is quite and small. Our site was nice and shaded. Owners/managers were not overly friendly but fellow campers were great. Wood price that have to buy from campground was not good. Burned through $40 in first night with a 2 hour fire. Crazy. A dollar per piece of kindling wood. Asked owner if they had a waste container to borrow because we hadn’t brought ours, very inconvenient to them

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We have no control over the expenses and wages our wood supplier pays his employees, which is passed on to us the buyer and goes to the customer. Our wood is DNR approved kiln dried wood, which makes it more exoensive also, but it is a very hot non smoking product. Thank you again for staying.

Absolutely loved everything about this campground. I loved that is smaller and slower paced! The cabin we stayed in was adorable and perfect. Very well maintained and staff was super friendly and helpful.

Great campground, very nice people running it. This is one of the cleanest campgrounds you will find. We had a great time over the weekend, and my son made some new friends.

The problem is the owner. We had 2 sites.The adults left in one truck w/ a teen behind. She watched us leave. She was walking around our site looking in the truck, at that time the teen was inside.The teen then went back out and she came back w/her phone to take pictures. Never in 25 yrs of camping have we experienced this. No wifi - we was right by the office, minor compared to the snooping owner

Our policy stated on our website and at our entrance "No Outside Firewood Allowed" which is what was in the back of your truck as we seen at check-in. Buying of wood is provided upon request. No internet service is beyond our control. Thank you again for staying with us.

Very lovely owners and they go out of their way to help you. Campgrounds very nice & kept up. Bathrooms are very very nice and clean and the pond was an added attraction. Will recommend to anyone wanting to find a nice camp ground to stay at.

No internet no cable very poor tv reception. No laundry. For prices they charge they are not comparable to other KOA campgrounds.

Susan We just turned KOA Mid July last year and because of covid the shipping of laundry equipment to suppliers is still at a halt. Our internet would of worked for you up towards our office if you were to let us know we could of moved you close to that area. Thank you for staying with us.

First non-state campground we've stayed in. We'll definately be looking at more KOA's. Couldn't be more friendly and helpful. Very accommodating and easy to work with.

Excellent campground. The bathrooms and showers were exceptionally clean and the hosts go above and beyond making sure you have everything you need!

Clean. However no WiFi no cable. Rules seem excessive and unnecessary. Way too many signs at entrance to read any of them while entering at safe speed. No paved sites, fire pits and site areas are not clearly defined at many sites.

What a great place. There were nice Halloween Activities for the kids, everyone was so friendly, it is one of the cleanest and well kept campgrounds I have been to. The owners reached out to say hello, and we had a great discussion, they really care about the campground and all of their guests. I look forward to the next camping season. You feel like extended family there!

This was my first time staying at the Weidman KOA and we had a BLAST! The cabin was very clean and comfortable and the activities for the kids were enjoyable (especially) trick or treating and the haunted hay ride. Bathrooms were exceptionally clean as well. I/we plan to come back again next season. Thank you for a great time!

Great weekend, very nice facilities, and very friendly staff working there. Felt like home. The person working in the office remembered our name about 6 hours after we were in the first time to verify our new reservation for the following weekend, that personal touch is not something you see these days. Cant wait to come back for our 2nd weekend in a row.
