Campground Reviews

The site we initially had was so covered in pinecones and branches we couldn’t get our camper in the spot. We were moved to another site at an addition cost. When my husband went to plug the 30 amp connection into the plug he got a shock. No breaker! The trash container was a small garbage can,so difficult to depose of waste. The campground was in need of major repair, maintenance and cleaning

Just a couple of nights in and out. Peaceful and respectful.

Great place, clean facility's but had to run around to find the entrance. We saw the intro on the highway, but ones we got to the exit, nothing. So I took the second exit and had to ask where it was. I did not have any info about the KOA before arriving.

Well kept campground. The pond and the large trees were very nice. Nice and quiet. Lots of camp sites to choose from.

Only 20 amp Electrical provided. No water or sewage. Washrooms were adequate, but there was a pile of debris piled outside the women’s washroom. Easy access from Trans Canada Hwy

We chose a back in site near the trees. There was plenty of space. We could hear the trains but they weren’t too loud. Campground is so close to services and just off the trans Canada, which was handy. Would definitely stay again.

Great place to stay on the way to Winnipeg when traversing the country. The only issue is the map doesn't exactly match the campground layout, this I parked in the wrong site...no biggie just a small issue.

Good spot to stay for a couple of nights. Some of the sites need some upgrades on their utilities and trees need to be trimmed for big rigs. Only complaint would be local traffic driving through constantly and too fast.

Homeless people wandering the grounds, as there isn’t any security fencing. My wife actually interrupted a homeless man that was defecating in the dumpster when she took to dispose the garbage. The local kids and others walk thru the park at all a yeahours of the day and night. Sites are very tight and trees need to be trimmed. No breaker to turn power on or off - always live. There’s m

Garbage cans are a bit difficult to locate, but everything else is good, liked the quick access to main roads in town. Thanks

Nice campground, friendly staff, clean restrooms and showers. Would definitely recommend. Mac the Moose and Snowbird plane across the road at the visitor centre.

The gps send us 1/2 hour over in Winnipeg and they refuse to canceled the reservation. Very lindely poeple .

The Moose Jaw KOA is a satisfactory campground for an overnight stop over. The receptionist is friendly and welcoming. The bathrooms and showers are clean, but the shower walls should be acid cleaned to remove dried mineral deposits from previous use. The biggest downsides is the traffic noise 24/7 and the facilities should be updated to intice campers to stay longer

Stayed one night on our way through Moose Jaw. The road in & out was pretty rough. The site was nice wide and fairly level. The staff were very kind and informative. Very close to the visitor center and other amenities.

Super hard working owners that took over a few months ago. Customer service was outstanding, we can see they are working on making this an outstanding place. Keep up the good work you are appreciated.

We were greeted by Barb when we arrived. She was very friendly and helpful. My first laundry day of the trip in canada with Canadian money she made sure I had enough for a $4 wash and a $3 dry. They have two washers and two dryers, so get in there when you can. bathrooms are clean and showers are clean. we stayed in lot 21. seems a lot of travelers stop here so it was getting full by evening. there were some empty slots for people w/o reservations. you may want to call ahead. the campsite is close to fuel, mcdonalds and the moose jaw visitor center. be sure to take a picture of MR moose. I would stay here again. I would recommend this place to friends. Thank you Barb for the wonderful greeting. You have a great employee with her. We stayed in lot 21 for an overnight
