This is a good KOA except for the tricky roads in, out, and around the park. We had a nice back-in site next to the lake with the noisy geese. The bathhouses were clean and well-stocked. The store has pretty much everything you could want.

We had a amazing time. I showed my wife around Hattiesburg a little bit and had breakfast. It was nice just to get away for a few days.

This KOA was a little further off the main road than j thought, however it was such a nice campground! The office/store was clean and decorated for holidays. The park itself was beautiful with the lake, nature trails, ducks/geese. The bathrooms were very clean and heated. The staff was also very nice and welcoming!

The facility is large, very well kept, and offers nice amenities. Why a 3-star? Well the primary reason was we were put in site #4. Never accept site 4. After numerous attempts to level, we were finally successful by using 5 inches of wood under one leveler and about 3-4 under another. Initial attempt, including jockeying the coach on the site all led to our front tires inches in the air. Beware.

Thanks for your feedback. Site 4 is level when centered, and other guests haven’t reported issues, but we’re sorry it gave you trouble. We wish you had notified the office. Our staff would have gladly helped or moved you to another site. We appreciate your stay.

Always an awesome experience at your campground. We’ve stayed several times and love it. Hoping the bathrooms on the other side of the lake have been renovated. The new ones are fabulous!

If we travel this way again we would DEFINITELY stay at this KOA again. Pride in ownership abounds. Call first, don’t trust your GPS� Turn onto Lux road and it’s easy to find. Well marked. Short gravel road entrance. Far enough away from the highway to not hear noise. Beautiful wooded area.

Our stay there was too short. We truly enjoyed the beauty of the natural grounds. The park was spotless and very well maintained. Our spot was very spacious with a very nice patio. The laundry was spotless and the store was so cute and very well stocked with a variety of items. Staff were so nice and welcoming. The park was tucked away and was very quiet. We will definitely come back.

This was the most beautiful, and well tended KOA campgrounds we have ever been to. They’re all wonderful, but this one was amazing. Everything was absolutely perfect. Even the view, and the weather! Lol our cabin was very comfortable and beautiful. It looked like a well decorated home. Not just a place to spend the night. The staff was friendly and helpful.

We stayed in a small back-in site on the pond to be near some friends who were renting one of the cabins. Hook ups were great, no issues. Internet was a bit spotty. The campground was super clean. Restrooms and showers were great. A fabulous outdoor pavilion where we played some games. We really enjoyed our stay, and would not hesitate to rent again.

We stayed one night on our way to Disney World from Texas, then another night on our way home. This will definitely be a place we stay again when our route takes us that direction!

We stayed here Nov. 4th thru the 6th, 2025. The staff was very nice and friendly. They led us to our site and brought us the wood we purchased. Campsite was nice and level. We backed up to the pond and had a wonderful view. We would definitely return here.

We can’t wait to tell our friends about this fantastic place. We booked as a last minute stop before home from a trip to CA. I am so thankful. The facilities are outstanding. Quiet, peaceful, and all employees friendly and outgoing. They even deliver firewood to your site on request! We will be back and with friends.

Owner greeted me at night. Super nice man. Maggie at the front desk was very helpful. Beautiful park. Highly recommend. Follow their signs to pull in and you will be glad that you did.

Definitely the best KOA we have stayed at! We can’t wait to come again. The staff are wonderful and the campground and facilities were immaculate. Love the dog wash station! Thank you!

The campground is beautiful, very well laid out. Our only negatives were road noise in the late evening hours from the highway and the rocks on the curve as we left the campsite. The park can’t do anything about the road noise. The rocks were a minor obstacle to maneuver around. The pond is beautiful, and the ducks were very entertaining.

Very well managed park. Office staff are very accommodating and friendly. Park is clean and grounds well maintained. We stay twice a year.
