Darrin and Heidi are amazing hosts. The campground and bathrooms super clean. The campground is quiet and the views of the trees and night sky are breathtaking. It’s a great place to camp and visit the Oregon Caves, the coast or local rivers.

Very beautiful place. It is new and you can see it is going to be one of the outstanding KOA’s. The couple running it are wonderful people and will help you in any way. I just wish we lived near so we could use it frequently. But if you are ever near, this is one of the best stays. Clean bathrooms and laundry. They even have fresh herbs growing around camp sites.

This KOA in Cave Junction is one of the best RV parks we've ever been to! The Owner/Camp host goes above and beyond for everything. Very amazing and humble people. They made our stay the best it could be. Thank you for an incredible stay!

New KOA that we enjoyed. This couple is working hard and doing a great job and you should stop and pay them a visit. Well laid out and landscaped, with beautiful mountain views all around and great sunsets.Very clean.

This is a brand new KOA Tent site was large w/gravel bad for tents or motorcycles couldn’t pound a stake in the shade was zero, as the trees are still young. The owner had a shade umbrella for us & we moved one site over the ground was covered in landscape bark but still hard to drive stakes in. bath house is nice, large personal shower/toilet Owner was very helpful friendly We hope it does wel

Our tent sites offer stickerless hemlock bark tent pads, which is a soft material to make a comfortable pad. The gravel tent site is more popular for bikers who want to keep their bikes close to their tents, but packed gravel can be more difficult to place stakes. Our trees continue to grow!

It’s a lovely new campground with great bathroom/shower facilities. The landscape is nice and will be beautiful in a few years. Camp host was pleasant and friendly.

New campground, well maintained and the owners are great hosts. As the campground is still in development, some amenities are still to be completed. But still, it is a great place to spend time to explore southern Oregon.

We had a brief stay waiting for our home to close escrow. The couple that run the park are helpful and friendly we will be recommending this park to both our friends/family as well as my husbands coworkers who will be looking for long term spots.

Seems to be very new, very quiet and dark for looking the stars. Heidi and her husband were very accommodating and helpful, I extended my stay. The water pressure at the showers could be higher. Everything was clean.

No shade!!!! I am 75,the heat was unbearable. I think you should refund a few days. Get some shade trees in there. Wish you the best. Bill Denington

We are sorry the weather did not cooperate for you during your stay! You stayed during a week with high temperatures. We have planted many trees and will continue to add more, but it will take some time before they offer shade. Stay cool!

We had a great stay in Cave Jct. The facility is brand new with more upgrades to follow. The owners were very nice and Darrin recommended an awesome road off the beaten path to check out some massive redwoods. We will definitely be back!

Great owners best new facilities your ever find, great location, and I hear a huge pool and hot tub will be built soon. Brand new KOA still being completed but still really great even now, highly recommend!!!

This is a fantastic “home base” if you want to explore northern CA and the PNW without pulling your trailer. There’s so much to do and see within a few minutes or a few hours. I can’t say enough good things about the hosts. They go above and beyond to make your stay safe and warm.

We had a fabulous time staying at this KOA! We used two RV sites between the 6 family members, and we were truly impressed by the cleanliness of the facilities, the friendliness of the staff and the beauty of the park and surrounding area. The store had everything we needed for our stay including firewood, s'mores supplies, snacks, drinks, and RV supplies. We can't wait to stay here again!

Very nice, and NEW, campground. The roads could have been a little less dusty. I hope the get paved like other KOA locations. Staff was friendly and helpful. I enjoyed having all new facilities. Everything was clean and everything worked! Thank you for an enjoyable stay.

Great location of this new KOA, very close proximity to the OR Caves NP and hiking locally. Really appreciated Heidi allowing us to come in early and check out later to go explore a bit longer! Warning on the slope of the entry for longer rigs. We would definitely come back.

Cave junction k o a is a new park and still under construction. However The owners were great people bull period. I had a battery problem with my motor home battery and the owner jumped it from his car. We plan on returning when the construction is complete and the swimming pool is open.

This resort is just being built. It was a quiet and comfortable camp spot, the people were friendly, but it had none of the amenities, such as pool, dog Park, Lodge, etc. That we enjoy at other koa locations.

Great campground, friendly hosts. It’s brand new so we look forward to returning again and seeing the additional improvements. Bathrooms/showers are nicely designed. Definitely recommend.

We had a great stay at this new KOA! Camp hosts were amazing and friendly! They were always available. The hosts offered great local information such as splash pad recommendations and swim holes as it was hot and they have not put their pool in yet! This is a great place to stay to hit the Oregon caves, hellgate jet boats, the Oregon vortex and more. Would definitely stay here again!

Friendly staff, nice facilities, and convenient location. Great setup for RVs but not the best for tent camping if you want to park by your tent site (appreciate the staff letting us know during booking). This is a fairly new KOA so there are still plans to add amenities and it will be even better when those additions are complete and the trees mature and provide shade.

While I recommend any seeking overnight or week long stays, to go to this KOA location in Cave Junction. * However we have had to evict several of our long term tenants for distribution of drugs, domestic violence, including theft or personality traits with threats of disturbances, which fall outside our already established park rules. I only wish the manager at the KOA was more receptive when I've tried to alert them of these individuals, rather than being brushed off saying they will keep an eye on them. These individuals all have been made known to law enforcement, and in my opinion shouldn't be allowed in the Cave Junction community for safety concerns. (We have also been informed that the dog trails are full of Poison Oak, and some of the undesirable individuals we have mentioned, are bragging they go back there to use the laundry facility there). We now are more capable in doing a better researched background check on our future tenants, but I really wish we had a better communication system with our fellow camp hosts, when it comes to undesirable individuals that mask themselves to hide in plain sight. We have stayed at many KOA's across the States, and have always enjoyed the amenities in our stays. KOA will still be our recommendation to the folks we cannot provide for short term stays.

The facilities and office is a lot smaller compared to other KOAs. Not that it matters to me but it was strange to see lol. I believe this is a new location, it looks it. Clean bathrooms. Hookups work properly. Pretty area. Not too many shaded spots. Spots are long and nice.

Super nice facility. Probably the nicest campground bathroom I've ever seen. Extremely clean, modern and spacious. The camp hosts are incredibly hospitable. It's a newer campground, so not a ton of shade, but the grounds are very well kept. We looked at other places nearby and ended up staying 2 nights here. Can't say enough about how awesome the camp hosts are!
