We had a fabulous time staying at this KOA! We used two RV sites between the 6 family members, and we were truly impressed by the cleanliness of the facilities, the friendliness of the staff and the beauty of the park and surrounding area. The store had everything we needed for our stay including firewood, s'mores supplies, snacks, drinks, and RV supplies. We can't wait to stay here again!

Very quiet Campground even though Highway 199 was very close. It is a very new KOA campground but very clean.

Very nice, and NEW, campground. The roads could have been a little less dusty. I hope the get paved like other KOA locations. Staff was friendly and helpful. I enjoyed having all new facilities. Everything was clean and everything worked! Thank you for an enjoyable stay.

Great location of this new KOA, very close proximity to the OR Caves NP and hiking locally. Really appreciated Heidi allowing us to come in early and check out later to go explore a bit longer! Warning on the slope of the entry for longer rigs. We would definitely come back.

Cave junction k o a is a new park and still under construction. However The owners were great people bull period. I had a battery problem with my motor home battery and the owner jumped it from his car. We plan on returning when the construction is complete and the swimming pool is open.

This resort is just being built. It was a quiet and comfortable camp spot, the people were friendly, but it had none of the amenities, such as pool, dog Park, Lodge, etc. That we enjoy at other koa locations.

Great campground, friendly hosts. It’s brand new so we look forward to returning again and seeing the additional improvements. Bathrooms/showers are nicely designed. Definitely recommend.

We had a great stay at this new KOA! Camp hosts were amazing and friendly! They were always available. The hosts offered great local information such as splash pad recommendations and swim holes as it was hot and they have not put their pool in yet! This is a great place to stay to hit the Oregon caves, hellgate jet boats, the Oregon vortex and more. Would definitely stay here again!

Friendly staff, nice facilities, and convenient location. Great setup for RVs but not the best for tent camping if you want to park by your tent site (appreciate the staff letting us know during booking). This is a fairly new KOA so there are still plans to add amenities and it will be even better when those additions are complete and the trees mature and provide shade.

New location. Super clean all amenities are new. Beautiful area to stay. Great staff. Our 43’ rig with tow fit easily.

This KOA Journey just opened a few months ago and the owners are super nice and working hard to get the park up and running. Sites are all gravel and terraced a bit which worked fine leveling our rig. Nice views of the surrounding mountains. It's nice to see a new park and enthusiastic friendly owners trying to make your stay great! We camped at Cave Junction KOA Journey in a Motorhome

We arrived both not feeling well and Phil went out his way to get us settled. He offered to call EMT to come do a vitals check on my husband (they were very kind and reassured us of his health) They all went out of their way to make us comfortable.the camp area is beautiful and once things start growing it’ll be an even greater park.

Wish I could have stayed longer! Loved the bathrooms style, with the individual rooms and fun lighting. Nice layout of the campground. Great views too.

Checked in late, but the caretaker showed up & guided us to our tent site. The facilities are all new & really nice. Loved the family bathrooms. Close to the redwood natl forest & caves. Highly recommended!!!!!

The Kampground is quite new and still in the construction phase. The campsites are generous in size and easy to access and the Kampground is clean and quiet. The host was friendly and helpful.

Great place to stay in a nice small town. While here, we visited the Oregon Caves, the Redwood National Park and Crescent City California. The park had beautiful landscaping.

Camp hosts were super nice and very attentive. Best price on propane Darren even picked up a delivered my tanks back to me. Will definitely return to this camp ground.

Many great things at this KOA. The host are friendly and welcoming. The sites are nice and laid out well. Bathrooms are clean and close by. There is little shade and the hosts are apologetic. It’s new and trees are planted. Shade umbrellas at the tent sites help out. Only in water temperature is n the bathroom sinks is a concern.

This place was perfect! The hosts were awesome and went above and beyond to make the stay enjoyable. There is a little store that has the basics and they kept the place spotless!! We will definitely be staying there again!

Gravel & no trees. So Hot we have to stay inside RV. Just a parking lot. KOA seems to have lost site of general camping expectations. However, Nice new bathrooms & shower, that must go largely unused cause no one stays here!

They just opened in April 2024, so several amenities are still in the process of being finished. That being said, the restroom/shower facilities are the nicest I’ve ever seen at a KOA. The owners are friendly and the site is far enough off the highway that ambient noise is minimal.

This is a brand new KOA so they really are a working progress. They have great plans. We found the campground to be wonderful! Very clean. Very well landscaped..the bathrooms are beautiful and clean. This place is about an hour north of the Redwood National Park and a very nice drive to the coast! We loved our stay.

Heidi was so wonderful, helping us above and beyond to find a space for our large family and tent. She even showed us to our site and recommended great things to see in the area for families. The children noticed how clean the bathrooms were. The campground is terrific!

The temps were 105 degrees plus. This being a new koa , there was no shade . The temperature was no fault of the owners. This was a very nice camp. The owners were very helpful and pleasant to work with.

The owners of this brand new park are working hard to make it the best experience for their guests! The sites are spacious and well maintained. Bathrooms and showers are very nice. It was a great location for several attractions. We would stay here again.

While I recommend any seeking overnight or week long stays, to go to this KOA location in Cave Junction. * However we have had to evict several of our long term tenants for distribution of drugs, domestic violence, including theft or personality traits with threats of disturbances, which fall outside our already established park rules. I only wish the manager at the KOA was more receptive when I've tried to alert them of these individuals, rather than being brushed off saying they will keep an eye on them. These individuals all have been made known to law enforcement, and in my opinion shouldn't be allowed in the Cave Junction community for safety concerns. (We have also been informed that the dog trails are full of Poison Oak, and some of the undesirable individuals we have mentioned, are bragging they go back there to use the laundry facility there). We now are more capable in doing a better researched background check on our future tenants, but I really wish we had a better communication system with our fellow camp hosts, when it comes to undesirable individuals that mask themselves to hide in plain sight. We have stayed at many KOA's across the States, and have always enjoyed the amenities in our stays. KOA will still be our recommendation to the folks we cannot provide for short term stays.

The facilities and office is a lot smaller compared to other KOAs. Not that it matters to me but it was strange to see lol. I believe this is a new location, it looks it. Clean bathrooms. Hookups work properly. Pretty area. Not too many shaded spots. Spots are long and nice.

Super nice facility. Probably the nicest campground bathroom I've ever seen. Extremely clean, modern and spacious. The camp hosts are incredibly hospitable. It's a newer campground, so not a ton of shade, but the grounds are very well kept. We looked at other places nearby and ended up staying 2 nights here. Can't say enough about how awesome the camp hosts are!
