Meet Your Hosts
About 23 years ago, Steve Albrecht entered the RV world so he could travel without having to kennel his dogs. Then, he left his Long Island home and a 17-year career with the telephone company when he purchased this campground. "I wanted to get away from the traffic!" Steve says.
Over the last 22 seasons, Steve has had the pleasure of watching his campers' children grow and now he sees them returning with their own children. "Being both campers and campground owners helps us put our finger on the pulse of what people are looking for," he says.
Steve is also involved in the Campground Owners Associations on both the state and national levels.
In September of 2007, Steve and Linda were married on the campground. Linda was a Registered Nurse for 19 years and now is a massage therapist at the on-site therapy center at the campground. She also thrives on landscaping the park.
2012 marks the campground's 43rd anniversary. Steve and Linda invite campers to celebrate with them, "We love the beauty of what God has created in the Shenandoah Valley and we welcome you to share it with us!"
In their spare time, Steve and Linda enjoy motorcycling and traveling in their RV. Linda also enjoys gardening and holistic medicine.
