Giant Jumping Pillow What do you get when you cross a trampoline with a bounce castle? A giant jumping pillow! This safe activity provides countless hours of exercise and entertainment for the young and the young at heart.

Recreation Area In the past year, we've upgraded and enhanced our recreation areas, adding a basketball half-court, volleyball court, tetherball, new horseshoe pits, bocce ball courts, kornhole, outdoor ping-pong, and an additional playground!

Beaches! Head north on General Booth only 2.5 miles and you'll be at the famous and fabulous Virginia Beach oceanfront and boardwalk! Take it easy and take the trolley, which runs right from KOA to the beach Memorial thru Labor Day, or ride your bike all the way on the local bike path! Bike rentals also available at the beach.
Want a beach that's just as beautiful and a little more quaint? Head south 10 miles to Sandbridge Beach! Then there's Chix Beach on the Chesapeake Bay for another experience. Or ask at the Front Desk and we'll let you in on the secret of some lesser-known local beaches that you'll enjoy too!

Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Center The Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Center is one of the country's finest aquariums. You'll experience hands-on exhibits about the wildlife and habitats of marshes, the Bay, and the Atlantic Ocean, along with some pretty amazing creatures you won't see anywhere else! Plus, there's the fantastic six-story-high IMAX 3D Theater. Open daily.

Ocean Breeze Waterpark With 16 waterslides and a million-gallon wave pool, there's wild water fun for everyone at the Ocean Breeze Waterpark, less than a mile down the road from KOA. Discounted tickets available at the KOA Front Desk.
