Virginia Beach KOA now offers cable TV In response to camper requests, Virginia Beach KOA has now installed cable TV in all Deluxe Cabins and full hook-up campsites! You'll find a wide variety of channels, along with a special "Virginia Beach KOA" channel dedicated to giving you current information about events going on at the campground and down at the Oceanfront.

March-April | Camping Fever

April 6-8 | Easter Weekend
Celebrate this special weekend with crafts and an Easter Egg hunt for the kids. On Sunday, enjoy an extra-late check-out time and join us for Easter lunch.

May 4-6 | DIGS Volleyball Tournament
Volleyball players and fans take over the campground this weekend!

May 11-13 | Come Kamp and Care/Mother’s Day
Pay for one night of camping on May 11 and get May 12 FREE! Proceeds support KOA’s Care Kamps for children with cancer. Moms, enjoy free goodies in celebration of your special day! Kids, make a special gift for Mom!

May 18-20 | 1st Annual Home Educators Appreciation / Armed Forces Day Appreciation
Virginia Beach KOA loves military families and, being home educators ourselves, we love homeschoolers too! Since you both make many sacrifices, we want to honor you by giving you a get-away weekend… with special prices, plenty of fun for all ages, goodies and prizes, and a chance to build some great family memories. Call for details. Not part of either group? That’s OK—all campers are welcome to join in the fun!

Remember our heroes and kick off the official camping season with a Memorial Day weekend jam-packed with fun!

June 1-3 | Tourney Time
Compete in a variety of fun tournaments…basketball, horseshoes, bocce ball, cornhole, mini-golf, and a few wacky ones too!

June 8-10 | Fiesta Days
Latin Fest is happening down at the Oceanfront, but at KOA, join us for tacos, a piñata party, crafts, and more!

June 15-17 | Hats off to Dads!
Dads, come to KOA to build some great memories with your kids, then we’ll carve out some relaxation time for you in the schedule!

June 22-24 | Christmas in June!
It’s exactly halfway ‘til Christmas! Get in the spirit now by decorating your site for Christmas, with Christmas crafts, cookie-decorating, a visit from Santa, and more.

June 29-July 1 | Red White & Blue Hullaballoo
Show your patriotic spirit with a Best-Decorated Site Contest, decorate your wheels for a parade, and join in lots of red-white-and-blue fun!

July 4 | Celebrate America
Head to the oceanfront for Salute America, or kick back and enjoy the patriotic fun at KOA as we celebrate our nation’s Independence!

July 6-8 | Light Up the Night
Glow-in-the-dark parade, flashlight candy hunt, glow mini-golf, and a Light-Up-The-Night dance!

July 13-15 | H2O Weekend Part 1
Beat the July heat with WATER! Try the dunk tank, pool games, and our one-of-a-kind Water Wars Jet Fighter! Bring your best water guns and super soakers to fight back!

July 20-22 | Carnival Weekend
Enjoy carnival events like face-painting, dunk tank, gyroscope, games, hot dogs and pony rides!

July 27-29 | Death by Chocolate
All things chocolate this weekend….chocolate competitions, chocolate slip ‘n slide, and our Chocolate Potluck Buffet—bring your best chocolate dessert!

August 3-5 | Yee Ha! Western Weekend

August 17-20 | H20 Weekend Part 2
Keep cool with water, water everywhere! Don’t forget to bring your water guns and super soakers for a battle with our Water Wars Jet Fighter!

August 24-26 | Goin’ Hawaiian
Wear your flowered shirts and dresses, and enjoy beach music, contests, and Kona Shaved Ice!

August 31-Sep. 3 | Salute America
We’ll have another extended weekend celebrating America, packed with plenty of fun activities!

Sep. 7-9 | Grandparents Are Special

November 17-January 1 | Holiday Lights at the Beach
Take advantage of KOA’s lowest rates of the year and get a FREE admission ticket to the amazing “Holiday Lights at the Beach” on the Virginia Beach Oceanfront!

Beaches! Head north on General Booth only 2.5 miles and you'll be at the famous and fabulous Virginia Beach oceanfront and boardwalk! Take it easy and take the trolley, which runs right from KOA to the beach Memorial thru Labor Day, or ride your bike all the way on the local bike path! Bike rentals also available at the beach.

Want a beach that's just as beautiful but more quaint? Head south 10 miles to Sandbridge Beach. Then there's Chix Beach on the Chesapeake Bay for another experience, or other local beaches our staff will be happy to tell you about.
