The staff was wonderful, but wood they sell is crap wood burns fast , other than camping people thinking ok to bring 5 small barking dogs to camp with, people are stupid.

We stayed for 2 nights. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Our site was level for our travel trailer and the full hook-ups were great. We frequently took our dog to the fenced in dog park which he thoroughly enjoyed. Very close to the Badlands, which we visited the two days we were there. All of the accommodations were great!

The cabin though clean and updated was completely bare…not even soap or utensils. Fortunately we had our camper too. Otherwise this would have been a problem. The campground was lovely with lots of open space. We enjoyed our fire pit.

It was short n interesting, our campsite was beautiful, quiet n peaceful n close to the sites we wanted to see the staff was very knowledgeable about different places we might enjoy

The camp could be nice with a little maintenance. Site looked as though nothing had been done since last season. Sticks and branches and tall weeds, table was dirty, and the grill was rusty. I don’t use the pools, but this one was green with a sign “closed for season”. Would have expected better after Memorial Day and the good weather.

New owners. Improved WiFi & facilities over our stay 3 years ago. Added food stand & eating area. Didn’t try :-/. Dog run excellent. The women’s shower beside the office was less than desirable. Shower control didn’t work well. Hooks too small for clothing. Temperature in bathroom freezing for a shower. No paper towels. Men’s shower was better. One worker loved new owners. A 2nd did

We stayed in one of the yurts. The size of it was great. Was clean. Appreciated having a fridge and microwave in the yurt. The futons were pretty hard for sleeping on, but bringing something more to add to it for cushion isn't a hard thing to do. The bathrooms were clean. We would totally stay here again.

We stayed for 3 nights at the Badlands KOA. It was very convenient to Badlands NP (about a 10 minute drive). The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our site (152) had a nice shade tree and was a nice size. We enjoyed the dog park. I didn’t use the showers but my husband had high praise for them. Nice stay!

We camped in pull thru site #35 for a seven night stay. Overall the park is a great place to stay if you are headed to Badlands NP and other attractions in the local area. The park is well maintained and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. A special thanks to Kevin and Jeff for their great attitude and help when needed. The only Issue was the water pressure was limited.

We loved this spot and campground. We were warmly greeted by the staff. There were clean bathrooms with hot water, multiple places to walk the dog. Campers were assigned spots with plenty of room and privacy.

I loved how close it was the the park. The staff was also very friendly. I appreciated that there were events and options for food right on the premises if you did not want to cook.

Fairly level site. Showers are clean, okay pressure and decent hot water. Cable TV, decent channel selection. Staff are okay, did not really have much interaction with any of them. Fairly quiet, can not hear the highway. Propane on site. Close to Badlands National Park. Main reason I would stay here again, is there are not many other campgrounds in the area.

It's a very nice park. We enjoyed the meeting center and the cookhouse and had dinner there one night. It's close to the Badlands. The only issue is with the WiFi in the park where I was staying. The signal was poor and the connection would drop often. There was equipment on a tower at my site, but it obviously was not working. I mentioned it to the staff but they just said they do not manage it.

Our stay was great. We truly enjoyed the location, friendly workers: Kevin and Jeff, as well as the view and peacefulness of the resort. It was kept very clean and the staff supplied whatever we needed. Our pod was tiny for us two, but clean. Air conditioning/ heater noise made it difficult to sleep, but kept us warm. Thank you for our introduction to the KOA.

Positive points; close to the Badlands and very friendly, helpful staff. Negative; sites are not cared for and are in poor shape. WiFi (at our site) didn’t work. Interior roads are gravel and mud.

We had a beautiful camp site and a wonderful two days of warmth and sunshine. The owners were very friendly. The cook for one evening dinner was really slow but it was a good meal.

Very friendly people. We stayed in a deluxe cabin. The cabin was clean and comfortable. I typically stay in AirBnB's and perhaps have gotten little spoiled as although cabin had a frig and microwave, there were no dishes, dish soap etc. Not a huge deal, just was expecting a few typical necessities

Our stay was awesome! Everyone there is amazing. Super close to the park (which is incredible) Friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. We played all the games, were given the best tent site and Got to see and participate in one of the best lighting storms ever! 11/10 Would recommend.

We stayed here for a week as a base camp. Great location to the Badlands National Park , Black Hills , Wall, and Mt Rushmore. The people who worked at KOA were very nice. Thor is the general manager and they had just opened for the season. Things seemed to be getting in order...you know the grass cutting, the ice cream getting stocked, and the pool getting ready for the season. Just realize that just about all campgrounds here are dusty and not paved parking lots with no dirt. The restroom in the camping area was very clean as I had nature call when we were out for a walk. Oh, BIG RIG friendly and we were in campsite 18

We loved this KOA for a stay at the Badlands. Close to the NPS. KOA was clean and peaceful. We stayed in a yurt and it was cozy and clean. Restrooms were well kept also. Staff was friendly. Would stay again.
