Camping in the Northeast includes beautiful green grass-covered rolling hills, but to get those green-covered hills, a little rain must fall. It doesn't always rain here, but when it does, here are a few fun ideas to keep the family happy on your camping outing. At the Cooperstown KOA, there is an enclosed pavilion, perfect for a rainy day.
1. Hold a storytelling with the youngest (and youngest at heart) part of your crew. Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs is a great book to read on a rainy day.
2. Play a round of Ping Pong. Our Ping Pong table is set up inside the covered pavilion. Challenge your friends to see who can keep the ball going longest.
3. Gather together around a Board Game. In our pavilion, are a plethora of board games, or bring your own.
4. Show off your musical talent. So many people have wonderful musical talents. Bring out your guitars, drums, flutes, and voices. (and any other instrument) and have a jam session.
5. Jump in Puddles! How many of you remember being a little kid and the best time of all was jumping in puddles? Go back to those days and experience childhood.
That doesn't mean this area has to always be empty. When you start reviewing camping options, your history will display here to help compare sites and find the best stay. You will be able to share your stay information with friends or family and save it for a later time if you have a KOA Account.
