Very quiet KOA. No freeway nor highway sounds. Great place to get a good nights’ sleep. We stayed here in 2019 and came back in 2024. Major improvements have been made since 2019 that really spruce this KOA up. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. We’ll be back

We have stayed at Sallisaw a number of times . They are friendly and welcoming. We enjoy going to this KOA . We plan to stay at Sallisaw in the future .

AC did not work. The internet was so slow that it was unusable for work and watching TV was not fun due to so much buffering.

My wife and I recently stayed at the Sallisaw KOA and the plan was for just a short lay over to reach our final destination. When you take into consideration the price (~$65 and we had a private pet pen) and type of site we had I would have to rate this as the best KOA I have ever stayed. The site was roomy and I didn't feel that we were stacked on top of each other. Super friendly staff!

We enjoyed our stay. The tiny cabin we stayed in was perfect and met all our needs. We really enjoyed sitting on the back porch and relaxing.

Very nice park conveniently located off I-40. A little pricey for 1 night but still great.

Well maintained Big Rig Friendly RV Park conveniently located off I-40. Staff are friendly and professional. Sallisaw has a variety of very good restaurants. Enjoyed our 5 week stay!

Cabin was clean and ready for us. In all the KOA's I have stayed in these bathrooms are two far away from the cabins!!!

Wonderful place. We had some rowdy kids from the rodeo wonder on the grounds but we let them sleep on the porch. Good kids just were lost and thought they were at a rest stop where their parents were suppose to be

Everyone was very nice and helpful. We took the shuttle to Hot Springs NP and driver was so nice. The camp ground was very clean. We have a class c so we didn’t use the bathrooms or showers. If I am ever back in that area I would stay there again

Paying extra for more than 2 people is nonsense! I have a family of 5 and only brought 2 kids, had to pay extra for 1 kid.

I apologize for the inconvenience. In our RV sites, after 2 people we do charge $5 per person unless they are 2 and under to help account for extra usage. I appreciate your feedback and we will look into this. Thanks for staying with us!

Not only is the camp well laid out, taken care of, and friendly staff, they were professional and very efficient especially as we all faced severe storm warnings with a tornado watch. They have 2 storm shelters and were very conscientious in keeping us all informed. I observed staff awake through the night keeping watch. Thank you.

Very convenient to I-40. We were there for three nights. It was a good stop for resting and doing a few chores before another few days of intense travel. The laundry room was clean and reasonably priced, though they don't allow you to wash blankets. $2 for a wash and $2 to dry (45 minutes). There is a change machine but not an ATM (unless there's one in the office we didn't notice). We were there during the week, and it seemed like most guests were just there for the night. Though, they have a lot of fun stuff for kids to do. Very close to a Walmart and Murphy USA. There's an Italian restaurant and a fried chicken & BBQ joint (it has a buffet) nearby, too, that are both worth visiting. The shower in the laundry room was very nice and clean. Spouse reports the same for the bathroom near the office.

Nice wide shaded sites. Excellent laundry! Friendly staff. Very pet friendly with lots of green walking space. We stay here a couple of times per year!

When you have been crammed for space before, this is the place to stretch out your feet, open the slides, enjoy a long beautiful lawn and poured concrete platform. The water war station for kids was a first for me, game on! 3 dog runs...amazing. Clean, easy to get to and perfect for those traveling to Redbay Alabama for a Tiffin makeover.
