The North Cascades Region offers many recreational opportunities that range from easy hikes to strenuous climbs; from adventurous rafting to gentle canoeing. Check the Marblemount ranger station for River rafting: 360-873-4590. There are many lakes and rivers for fishing and boating. Baker Lake, Shanon Lake, a few other lakes and trails are within 15 miles of the campground.

There are several golf courses in the area. Come and stay a few days to try some of them.
Visit a variety of different kinds of museums, from Concrete all the way to Anacortes. Choices include quilt, historical, and heritage museums.
