This large KOA is in a great location and has many amenities. It didn't rate high, however, because we were a couple traveling with no kids and were given a site that backed up to the Fun Zone, with the giant bouncy pillow directly across from us. For 12 hours a day, kids were screaming. Additionally, the sites on both sides left campfires unattended. There should be a quiet space for adults.

Loved the Kamping Kitchens and Gray’s comfort Q. Gray’s food made this Southerner weep and his service could not have been friendlier. Restrooms were spotless and never crowded. Well run for such a large campground.

Love the area and there are alot of activities. The two cabins we rented were quite dirty and many kitchen items were sticky and the ventilation systems were filthy and needed new filters( you’d think after covid these things would get more attention). We spent the first 45 minutes cleaning. All that said, the staff took care of problems quickly and were nice.

Everything was good except for when the maintenance guy mowed the grass on adjacent spaces. The lawnmower kicked up a rock and it hit our motorhome. It left a very deep chip in the side of our slide out on a trim around the slide out. It actually isn't just a paint chip it dug into the metal trim removing the paint and made a small indentation.

We had a mix up with one of our three reservations that was not the fault of KOA. The manager worked to get us another spot so we could more comfortably enjoy our weekend. The manager and staff were very kind throughout the situation and the stay. We will definitely be back next year. Thanks for taking care of us KOA and saving our weekend family vacation. We appreciate it so much!!!

Always a fun stay, been coming here for years. First time in a cabin and was pretty disappointed with the mold under the top bunk. My kid chose to sleep on the floor he was so grossed out. Staff was amazing as always, so helpful and kind.

Love all amenities and location. Upgrades were noticed and appreciated. Would love to see more expansion of the large loft cabins. We love these cabins but they are hard to get since they are in high demand.

We had a fantastic stay! Cabins were clean, comfortable, and well stocked. Activities were great and the kids had a blast swimming and jumping and golfing and riding pedal cars. It’s our 32nd year here and we can’t wait for next time!

We absolutely loved it. The only downsides, the noise went on a little long from other guests and the hot tub could use a cleaning, but in a place that offers so much - those things seem like nothing at all. All staff were constantly friendly, we loved playing mini golf a million times, gorgeous beach access across the street- you can’t beat it!

Amazing place, superb staff and the best service highlight for me is kids playing area. Lowlight is poor wifi connectivity. Do Not expect the cellular data signal. Enjoy the nature. Thank you

Best KOA I’ve stayed at so far !! So many things for the kids to do. The bathrooms were clean !! There is toilet tissue covers , staff clean frequently, Other KOA’s bathrooms were worse than a state/county park .. I was VERY impressed! Family fun , and close to the beach !

We had a fantastic time! Cabins were clean and comfortable. Activities kept the kids entertained, even in the rain. Staff was so polite and friendly! We have been coming for 30 years and look forward to next year!

Endless fun for kids. The communication from KOA was top notch. They sent text messages reminding parents about upcoming activities. The only issue was the cabin smelled like wet dog and I couldn’t air it out enough to get rid of the smell.

We were very impressed with this KOA. Considering the huge amount of people staying there, it did not feel crowded. The staff were all top-notch: friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming. The grounds were well-kept. We enjoyed the outdoor pool (very clean and nice!). We are very glad we chose this location for our Memorial Weekend family camping trip.

One star off to make a point... for as wonderfully family friendly as your place is. There is a glaring lack of changing tables in men's restroom. You're sending a very specific message to a certain member of a family who job you think that is. Please consider providing equipment equally to all members of the family

Staff welcomed us with warm smiles; we did find many spiders/webs in the cabin in the corner of each window and behind the bed. The south entrance door to the restrooms closest to our cabin wasn't easy to open. Has to pull really hard and at the right time before the code would error out. That was frustrating. We unfortunately had to leave one night early due to an illness -bummer for sure!

Great stay as always. Our rustic cabin was great simple but clean & warm. Such a nice place, full of so many activities for my daughter to stay busy kept going till 9pm & was back in the pool at 9am. This was a quick mommy daughter trip.

This is the best KOA I've visit on the West coast. The facilities are updated. SO many amenities for kids. There is an amazing BBQ restaurant on the property, two fully stocked stores, multiple playgrounds. Loved it!

We've stayed here a number of times. Great place for the whole family! Special weekends (like Mother's Day) are a blast and the kids have plenty of activities and crafts to do at the SAB (s'mores activity building). The premium RV sites are nice with the cement and bbq grill, but it can get busy on Harbor and Gulf streets, so expect some traffic throughout the day …
