Our truck blew its transmission and we were stranded in VB for an unexpected 10 days while the dealership worked on repairing it. The VB KOA staff made our unexpected stay pleasurable. They were so accommodating, renewing our reservation on a day to day basis. The park is beautifully maintained and the pool area is stupendous! Kudos to all the staff at VB KOA. Keep up the good work!

Clean, friendly staff, efficient check-in, and family atmosphere. The only complaint was the slow to no internet connection.

Sites are very close together. 6 am truck next site leaves waking us up. Then dog starts barking. Front desk help was very helpful upon checking in.

You need a policy to allow campers to apply a credit for unused nights if they need to leave early for some reason. With a National brand like KOA, that should bear possible. That definitely soured my opinion of VBKOA when we had to leave early and received no credit.

We stayed an extra day with our Fantasy tour. Extremely clean facilities. Bathrooms and showers were the best we have seen. Sites were spacious, level, and comfortable.

Enjoyed our stay very much! Nice park, nice bike trail to the beach/boardwalk! We were there before the amenities were operating (trolley, music, etc). Staff was great - nice office/store. Utilities were fine, but wi-Fi was slow and very basic. Our patio asphalt site was spacious and well kept.

Awesome KOA facility. Tons of things for the kids to do, clean and quiet. I will stay at the Virginia Beach location again.

The Wifi did not work for us the whole stay. Having a camper with no cable, that was kind of a bummer. However, the grounds and outdoor amenities were nice. Staff was friendly.

It is obvious that the owners have pumped a lot of money into this KOA. Overall, the campground is beautiful and the staff takes considerable pride in the maintenance and upkeep of the surroundings. The staff is very professional, and go out of their way to make you feel "welcomed" and part of the KOA Family., We plan to visit the campground again throughout this calendar yea!

We were stranded in VB due to a blown transmission in our truck. The VB KOA staff went above and beyond, helping us to find someone to tow our trailer to the campground and working with us on a day by day basis as we waited for our truck to be repaired. Thank you so much! The campground was beautiful and spotlessly clean. The pool and lazy river was stellar. Visit if you can!

Signs direct campers checking in to make a u turn in front of office ....But the area is NOT big enough for big rigs towing to accomplish this u turn.... I suggest a different stopping point for big rigs while checking in. Imagine the frustration even before check in ! Big rigs, be sure you get an escort to your site. Otherwise a nice campground.

The location is fantastic. Staff is friendly, the sites are clean. Close to beach... AMAZING. Sites are easy to navigate with a large rig The great location close to all amenities comes with one downfall. So many police sirens. But to be expected, with the great location. Loved our stay

Great location. Beautiful clean campground, incredible new pool area with all the other activities that you would expect from a KOA. We stayed in cabin that was clean and comfortable. We were in cabin 723 and there was a previous review stating there was an ant problem in that cabin at the beginning of the April which I mentioned at the check in when we were assigned that cabin was told that the last people that checked out did not mention any problem. Now I'm a camper so ants are by far an issue with me but we did leave out something in the bathroom over night that we should have put away and there was more then a comfortable amount of ants in the sink and counter when one of us used the bathroom in the middle of the night. Again, not a deal breaker for us but others might be. We just made sure that we put away or wrapped up anything food related the rest of our stay and only saw a few here and there after that (we even extended our stay another night, 6 in all) the only thing I would really complain about was the close proximity to the other cabins in the "cul-de-sac"  area that we were in, some had more "private" patios but there were 3 cabins and their patios that were literally like 20' apart from each other, they should have reversed the entrances and patios so they didn't abut each other. (See pictures those are not my cabin they are the ones to the right and left) which again wasn't really a problem mid week because the campground was pretty empty but on Friday and Saturday nights that we stayed all the cabins were occupied. This is the only reason that I didn't give them 5 stars. Other than that pretty much five stars across-the-board! I can't see any reason that you would not have a fantastic time here and I would definitely be back when we're in the area and I will even stay in the same cabin again.

Very nice, clean campground! The staff is very friendly, efficient and helpful. There are so many super amenities. Its is located so close to so many restaurants, stores and hiking trails. Hope to stay there again.
