We absolutely love the campsite. We only wish the pool had been open. We were only notified 2 days prior that it would be closed due to construction.

“There’s camping and there’s KOA” Virginia Beach KOA Holiday is an outstanding campground. The staff are always pleasant, they all look like they enjoy what they are doing. Andrew, Kim, Hannah, Virginia, Spencer and all the KOA general store staff are always very helpful and accommodating. We had very nice wide sites in amongst us Rees that gave us nice shade! We throughly enjoyed our stay. The Campground is close to all the beach activities and they even had busses running to down town VA Beach.

The service couldn't have been better. The pool was unavailable but we had access to the beach, via the shuttle, so it was no problem. The park was very clean and was very peaceful. The bathhouse was clean and well supplied. Thanks to your staff who helped us with a dead battery the day we left.

Very nice campground. The young girl at the office were not nice. I thought she was off because of my English. Started to speak very fast. Not a smile. Told us the swimming pool was out of service without explanation and a kind of it’s like that. Kindness is always welcome. The campground is very well. People around was nice to speak with.

Very friendly staff and extremely clean, the only negative was the pool was still closed and with a seven year old daughter who loves to swim plus being in the 90s it made it rough

This is my 8th year starting at KOA Virginia Beach. Campground is away clean, friendly staff and plenty to do.

Super hot and no shade at campsite. Had several rains and the entire area that was necessary for the picnic table setup under our awning was a 3" deep mud hole. Asked an employee if he had any pea gravel or something that he could bring over at least for a walkway but he said that he could not do it for me without doing it for everybody. ??? had to reach under the mud to find my door mats.

The Site was close to the beach. Staff was courteous. Had a 40 Ft Fleetwood Discovery 39L with tow. The space was Gravel with no concrete patio as reserved. WIFI was questionable and weak and could not accommodate newer TV's for streaming so we had to use Smart View/ Cast from Phone to watch TV .Recommend Having a good data plan and/or Satellite internet.

We were disappointed that the new swimming area was not yet open for use. Although we had re-scheduled our trip to accommodate the delayed opening of the pools, from July 1 to August 1, and pools appear to be ready for use, but the permitting for use had not been released. We feel that the rate for staying at the Virginia Beach KOA should have been reduced based on not having the pools.

I love Virginia Beach KOA Holiday! There’s a lot of things for the kids to do at the campground. There is a bus/trolley that can take you straight to the beach. The staff are super awesome. The restrooms and bath houses are always kept clean. You can call or text to get firewood and ice delivered to your camper. There are golf carts and bikes available to rent. They also have propane on site.

This was one of the cleanest KOA’s. It’s lots to do. The bouncy pads, bikes, live music, updated playground among the vast greenery to walk a dog was nice to see. I will be back to experience the pool once it’s open. It looked nice. The staff was friendly and the speedy. service when we had a request made us feel special.

We were in the area visiting our cousins. This park is wonderful. We enjoyed the cleanliness, the variety of activities, the texts telling us about the events upcoming, and the awesome staff. Thanks for a lovely time.

I was very impressed with Virginia Beach KOA. From the very clean bathrooms to the Saturday night band in the park and the very short drive to the beach VB KOA ticked all the right boxes!

It has the potential to be a premium KOA. But some of the employees who live there need to take more pride in their personal living space. Way too many of the ones that live there have turned their RV sites into eye sores with debris and junk everywhere.

Was in premium site and was beautiful. Was also close to beach and boardwalk. The buses to get around are great right from campground. Also the new pool is beautiful and all other improvements that are happening.

I was extremely disappointed with our stay and will NEVER EVER stay again. I get such a more pleasant experience with private campgrounds. I was lied to by staff, I was then charged to halfway correct THEIR mistake, they mowed the lawn daily with rocks hitting our camper, they mislead us on the timing and noise level of the planes, which terrified our 1 yr old, they closed the pool and more.

This is the best camping I ever tried. People are so gentle. Wi-fi is perfect. Great activities for kids. Sites are clean. Service is perfect. The only thing I can say is they can improve the security on site with a gate. Otherwise, this camping is 5 stars and I will go back next year for sure !!

This was the best KOA that we have ever stayed in and best well cared for. Great campground would come back again in a heartbeat.

The location is fantastic. Staff is friendly, the sites are clean. Close to beach... AMAZING. Sites are easy to navigate with a large rig The great location close to all amenities comes with one downfall. So many police sirens. But to be expected, with the great location. Loved our stay

Great location. Beautiful clean campground, incredible new pool area with all the other activities that you would expect from a KOA. We stayed in cabin that was clean and comfortable. We were in cabin 723 and there was a previous review stating there was an ant problem in that cabin at the beginning of the April which I mentioned at the check in when we were assigned that cabin was told that the last people that checked out did not mention any problem. Now I'm a camper so ants are by far an issue with me but we did leave out something in the bathroom over night that we should have put away and there was more then a comfortable amount of ants in the sink and counter when one of us used the bathroom in the middle of the night. Again, not a deal breaker for us but others might be. We just made sure that we put away or wrapped up anything food related the rest of our stay and only saw a few here and there after that (we even extended our stay another night, 6 in all) the only thing I would really complain about was the close proximity to the other cabins in the "cul-de-sac"  area that we were in, some had more "private" patios but there were 3 cabins and their patios that were literally like 20' apart from each other, they should have reversed the entrances and patios so they didn't abut each other. (See pictures those are not my cabin they are the ones to the right and left) which again wasn't really a problem mid week because the campground was pretty empty but on Friday and Saturday nights that we stayed all the cabins were occupied. This is the only reason that I didn't give them 5 stars. Other than that pretty much five stars across-the-board! I can't see any reason that you would not have a fantastic time here and I would definitely be back when we're in the area and I will even stay in the same cabin again.

Very nice, clean campground! The staff is very friendly, efficient and helpful. There are so many super amenities. Its is located so close to so many restaurants, stores and hiking trails. Hope to stay there again.
