Clean, available and friendly staff, location proximity to beach and other things good, large sites, kept things clean and replaced as needed. They were installing a new bounce pillow and landscaping pool area. Texts sent to advise of said closures and the timing expected to complete the work.

Cabins were clean, my family had so much fun! Only thing we didn’t love were the jet flyovers… those were cover-your-ears loud and continued every few minutes throughout the day, past sunset even. Otherwise, it’s a beautiful campus and we would visit again…

Fantastic staff, very helpful and kind. The new KOA pool is amazing and the grounds are clean. Many activities to do for a family, plus it is near the beach.

We drive a Tiffin MH 38 feet long and the check in area for this KOA is geared toward smaller rigs. There were children in the lanes on bikes/walking dogs. When we drove in we did not have the full turning radius that our rig needed. We bent our tow bar beyond repair. It will cost us to replace it. Manager Keith was very hateful to us when we complained. Children-out of control in park.

Really great, we all loved it. We loved that the pool was heated and the kids could actually use the amenities even in spring. The easter festivities were also a big hit. We loved the petting zoo and duck derby. We've told all our friends that the VB KOA is where to stay.

The staff was so friendly and welcoming even when we needed overflow parking for our kayak trailer on a holiday weekend! Great to see so many families out camping for Easter weekend, and especially happy that you have a big tent area! It seems like a lot of RV Resorts are getting rid of tenting, which is a shame because it's a great, affordable, way for young people to get into camping.

Overall, the Virginia Beach KOA is a smaller nice spot! We were disappointed with the limited store hours, maybe because we were a bit early in the season, but there is no assistance when they are closed. Closed at 12PM on Sunday? We ran out of propane and had to go to the campground up the road to fill, they were happy to help.

Staff friendly, our site was great Easter activities were wonderful along with an excellent pool! Our biggest disappointment was the political flag another camper was allowed to display at their campsite (felt intimidated).Our world is full of negativity and political conflicts are out of hand. Camping is our escape from media.

Was a little disappointed in our cabin. It was our 5 visit and always had the same cabin. This cabin was much smaller, or layout was different. No sink in kitchen, just felt so much smaller.

Staff was kind and very responsive. The campground was neat and there was SO much to do for all ages. We didn’t get to test out the pool because it wasn’t warm enough yet, but it looked great.

Very close to the beach and restaurants and other tourist destinations. Very quiet. We had quit a few ants in the cabin. We did not have a stove to cook on during the rainy day, but we did have a microwave. Very outdoor recreation area.

Virginia in the store is the best! She hooked us up with a site last min, and helped us several times during our stay. The facilities were nice, bathrooms clean, and the new pool complex looks amazing.

Very helpful staff, clean grounds, comfortable cabin. Our only issues was some ants in our cabin and a very rusty key that made the door lock very challenging to open.

It was very disappointing, unfortunately. We had stayed with you about 4 years ago and loved the open space and tidyness, but wow, has it ever changed! We were stuck almost on top of year-round residents in a dingy area near the entrance. Several of the other guests were coming out of their campers 1/2 dressed and appeared to be extremely slovenly. We ended our stay after 1 night.

The camp grounds are beautiful. Very pet friendly. I walked my pups 6 times a day. I loved the site we were on. Every body was extremely friendly. I had to leave a day early due to a medical situation at home. Don’t know if I got a refund or not. One suggestion: keep the refrigerator secrtion better stocked. I was looking for some sort of bread or biscuit and the entire section was empty.

While the campground was lovely, we were a little taken back they gave us a site that was known to flood when a huge rain storm was headed our way.

We stayed at the VA Beach KOA for a weekend because we were there for my daughter's volleyball tournament. We needed an accessible cabin, because our youngest has Spina Bifida and uses a wheelchair. The cabin was perfect. Spacious enough for her wheelchair, she could reach the sinks and the microwave, and it was comfortable for the whole family. She loves camping now! Thanks for a great stay!

We rented a finished cabin. It was basically a really nice trailer home with AC/Heat, a nice queen bed, couch, bunk beds, and a normal bathroom and kitchenette with satellite TV. A couple without much stuff could probably live there permanently if they wanted. Noise insulation was also pretty good. Was very clean and the campgrounds are nice and have a lot of amenities. People who worked there were friendly and knowledgable. Only thing I will say was it was kind of expensive and if you are just a couple- I would do a normal hotel instead. However, it was a bargain for us as we had dogs with us and most hotels would either not allow it or charge a lot extra. If you have kids or pets its definitely worth it if checking out the Williamsburg/Jamestown area.

This KOA was fantastic, heated pool, and nice gift shop. We really enjoyed our paw pad. The person who drove us to our spot was very friendly and helpful. It really helps to have nice people when you are trying to relax on vacation.
