Old Wade House - An 1850s Stagecoach Inn

The Wade House has stoked the fire in the recent revival of interest in the Civil War. The stagecoach ruled the road and talk of a civil war spilled out over a plate of beans and a pint of ale. Meet the innkeepers, walk through the rooms, and talk with the patrons. Then board a horse-drawn wagon for a ride to the Wesley Jung Carriage Museum, which holds Wisconsin’s largest collection of restored hand- and horse-drawn carriages.
