It was very well maintained with clean facilities. The host was very accommodating when we ran behind in arriving. The site was nice and level and close to a casino if you wanted to walk over there.

Just so so not much there

We were stranded in Wendover for a week. Our RV needed some service, and the office suggested a man that resides in the park. Mike was very helpful and friendly. He made several suggestions that were helpful with our RV. The staff was very helpful and made suggestions on what to do while we were in Wendover.

Great place to stay. Watch out for the goathead stickers, my dog found a few.

Arrived around 3:30, no one in the office. Never showed up at all even in the “night guard” shack. Sites were unlevel. power boxes broken and bent over. Goats head weeds everywhere so could not walk the dogs. Most reviews on tripfinder say the same thing but there has shown to be no change in management

This our second time staying at the Wendover KOA. It’s a nice stop off point for us traveling from CO to CA.

Never saw a single office person or host??? This place should charge no more than $25 a night

Nice campground. I’m sure it’s prettier when trees have leaves. One problem I found, taking my dog to the pet area had a bunch of stickers that got in his feet. Campground was empty, so I walked elsewhere & cleaned up his mess. Along the fence line is covered in the stickers.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Showers were clean. My only problem was the stickers that my dog walked into. Just walking around the campsite and she got stickers in her paws. However when I took her to the fenced in dog park area there were no issues.

The entrance driveway is in dire need of repair. Huge ruts and potholes. You must enter extremely slow if driving a motorhome or you will lose everything out of your cabinets.

The camp is all gravel, meaning quite dusty and dirty. Very few trees, no grass. The location was in reasonable proximity to many interesting sites. We would not stay there again for more than a day or two because there's no comfortable place to enjoy the outdoors. Sorry.

Ok for a one night stopover but no grass at sites or in dog park. Dusty at sites - dog park gravel. The restrooms were very clean. Only about 5 campers there and office open on limited hours. Appreciated reservations and sites posted on the door along with a site map.

The stay and location were great. We travel with two miniature poodles. The goat head thorns made it impossible for our little dogs to walk around. If not for that I would have rated the recommendation a 10 and the campground a 5.

The amenities says clearly there is wi-fi, but only if you are in the office or store, no wi-fi from the camping spot.

Arrived after dark with DRY water tank and our space had NO water as it was shut off for the "winter". We had to use flashlights and 2 hoses to connect to our neighbors and put water in our tank for a 2 night stay. Was told maintenance wouldn't be avail to connect our space to water and we were level & didn't want to move. A FREE night would have been nice but rec'd $10 off. Disappointing!

At $51 for water/electric only, it is severely overpriced. Got there at 3:22 and the office was closed, note on door said back at 4pm. Clerk came back at 3:55. We found our site assignment on the door and went and parked. Decided to unhook because it was easier than getting out several stacks of levelers to raise the back. Did two loads of laundry, $3 per load, very reasonable. All machines were working. Washers are newer. Dryers are like from the 1970's but still work! Bathrooms screamed 1970's but were clean and everything was working, though all the drain stoppers had been removed. Showers were clean and did get hot, but be careful because the water gets scalding. Recreation room locked up and just being used for storage. Pool closed for season. Mini-Golf fell into disrepair and long since abandoned. The dumpster area doesn't have a dumpster, just 4 trash cans. Cheaper than a dumpster I guess. Walked by the cabins and peeked in, noticed how clean the windows all were. Everything is clean. But maintenance is neglected. Picnic tables are weather worn and peeling. Broken screens on cabins. Door to sink room broken. Some outside lights don't work and looks like copper has been stolen from some street lights. The place was mostly deserted, we were on the north side which is water/electric only and by morning there were just 3 occupied sites out of 6 entire rows. The full hook-up sites on the south side were fuller but there were still 4 empty rows. Maybe the place is more seasonal. Place is located behind the Red Garter Casino but is very quiet. There is a 'Night Watchman' booth at the entrance but it is abandoned. There is a yellow KOA standard sign on the wall with the phone number to the manager but it is so old that it doesn't have the area code. Not even sure if you could dial 7-digits and have a call connect? Went into the office once the clerk came back and got officially checked in. All the coolers and freezers in the store are empty and un-plugged. Very little for sale in the store. Again, maybe they are more seasonal. A young couple who were car camping came in and asked how much it was for just a shower and how much for a tent-site. $10 for a shower, $40 for a tent site. I almost invited them to pay for an extra vehicle and stay in our site but they left before I was done checking in. I felt bad for them. This place was only ever 20% occupied. I'd have given them a tent site with showers for $20 if I were that clerk. Adjacent to the park on the south side is another section of trailers and mobile homes for permanent residents. To be able to use the dump site you have to drive out via the in-lane. Then you have to go past the abandoned night watchman shack to turn around and drive back in via the out-lane. And whoever does maintenance is un-skilled. I saw several sidewalks with plumbing running on top of the original sidewalk and then more concrete slathered on top of that so that you don't trip on the pipes. Who does that?
