I only rented a tent site for the night but I had a chance to check the place out and this is a great campground and RV park. Hot showers, friendly staff and campers, cabins and tent sites at a reasonable rate. I highly recommend.

Fantastic experience. Called us on the road with instructions for our arrival. The tent site was clean and comfortable. The bathrooms were spacious and clean. We highly recommend it.

I dinged 1 star because the tent spot I was assigned was NOT level (J15). J14 would be my preference if I come back this way -- level, and still a straight shot to the bathrooms. Speaking of the bathrooms, they were quite clean and bright -- really appreciate that.

Generally as advertised. Frustrated the shade cover was not water tight. Heavy rain just after I arrived and everything got wet while under the cover. In addition the height of the horizontal shade supported was not tall enough. No caution markings on the beam. Hit my head on it three times. Lady working the counter was very nice.

The restrooms, showers, and laundry were clean. You are within walking distance to a few restaurants, fast food and casinos. And short drive to everything else.

No complaints at all! Bathrooms are clean, toiletries are stocked, and campsite was just what we were looking for. Nice and quiet, and nothing that distracted from our trip.

For tent campers, such as I, it's o.k. but not great. It's dusty and busy with RV traffic from 4p - 10p, and the I-80 traffic noise lasts all night. Locati.on is good with a short walk to casinos, restroom and showers were clean, and the shade structure over the table was appreciated. It's a decent value for camping. In hot weather it beats boondocking.

Park was clean and orderly, staff was very friendly. However WiFi which we required and was available, simply did not work. Despite login and showing a connection, we were unable to search anything or send msgs :(((

Nice, helpful staff. Facilities are good. I was pleased with how clean things were. I wish the WiFi worked better further away from the main building.

We stayed in a tent site. The site was good. Facilities are clean and well kept. We have stayed at this KOA a few times and always had a good experience.

Interesting tent sites. I've never pitched a tent on just sand before. It was good enough for a night on the road. The bathrooms/showers are a bit cozy. Extra hooks to keep things off the floor would be a plus.

The stay was night, we had a late check in (self check in) and the person on the phone when we called was very helpful. The bathrooms were clean, the only thing not great was that the WiFi would not connect give the password posted. Otherwise, it's a very nice site.

When we checked in, the KOA office/store was immaculate - right there a plus. The grounds were very clean and well maintained as were the restrooms and showers. For being in a windswept, sandy location we were pleased with this KOA!!

I was in town for Bonneville speedweeks and waited til the last moment,but Lucy still got me in. I was glad to be able to use all the facilities and your camp was clean and orginised. Thanks for the stay !! Larry

The staff was extremely helpful as I goofed up my reservation and needed to arrive a day early. The bathrooms and showers are very clean. The tent sites are nice and have a shelter and table and firepit. The place was full but not noisy. Absolutely nothing to complain about and a very nice experience. Thank you all!

A nice and well kept KOA, walking distance from restaurants and casinos. The amenities are nice. It is kind of in the middle of the town so it doesn't feel as campground-y as other KOAs but there is plenty of privacy.

the spot we had was dirty and had spiderwebs everywhere! My husband and i even were bitten by a spider. the fence looked worn down and broken. the water area has trash in it and the electric plug was so dirty I would have been afraid to use it. We didn’t even feel comfortable using or sitting at the table as there were so many spiderwebs and it was dirty. So dirty and definitely wouldn’t rec

I didn't have a reservation on arrival, the young woman at the check-in counter got me sorted out in a few moments with a site that was perfect for my needs.

Perfectly functional basic campground, especially given the desert location. WiFi was so weak as to be practically unusable. Most of the tent sites have privacy barriers, but ours was set up in the same section with another site so those sites could share a picnic table — it was weird that they put guests in both of those sites on a night when several other sites with better privacy were unuse

The campground was mostly empty when we stayed there. The tent sights are up against a fence that is falling apart and right behind it are very sketchy trailers. There were teenage boys smoking pot right next to our site (we could clearly see through the fence!). It made us very uncomfortable. The pool was not opened. The camp store was sparse and the one employee we saw at our check-in was ok.

Campsite was filthy dirty, trash in fire pit and all around picnic table. Went into office, two very young girls were on their cell phones running the place and didn’t seem to care. We were moved to another campsite which was also never cleaned. Very clean bathrooms, there’s a pool, and the tent camp area (which we used) has a soft tent area and a shaded table. Short walk into the town, too!

This campground starts with the limitation of being in a desert location, and doesn't do much to improve on that reality. It's basically a gravel parking lot with a central facilities building and a small pool. There are a few small trees. But, there's nothing mitigating the dust. No grass, no vegetation. The facilities are clean, and office operations are efficient (I self registered).

We were happy that they had an opening as we were on a three thousand mile trip. The lady at the desk was very nice. Site was doable considering we were in the middle of the dessert. There were a few pieces to trash. The bathrooms were very clean. The only thing that could be improved are the showers. Old, dingy and I inviting.

The bathrooms are dated as everyone has stated, however it goes with the whole vibe of the place and the state. Being from NY and not being a camper this was so retro and cool. IT WAS SOOOO CLEAN! Again it was clean, we felt safe and slept well. That is what I am looking for when I camp. Loved this stop!

Great shower and washroom facilities. Very clean and tidy. However, tenting facilities were just ok (tent pad somewhat small), and the highway noise was loud. Also, wifi did not work.

At $51 for water/electric only, it is severely overpriced. Got there at 3:22 and the office was closed, note on door said back at 4pm. Clerk came back at 3:55. We found our site assignment on the door and went and parked. Decided to unhook because it was easier than getting out several stacks of levelers to raise the back. Did two loads of laundry, $3 per load, very reasonable. All machines were working. Washers are newer. Dryers are like from the 1970's but still work! Bathrooms screamed 1970's but were clean and everything was working, though all the drain stoppers had been removed. Showers were clean and did get hot, but be careful because the water gets scalding. Recreation room locked up and just being used for storage. Pool closed for season. Mini-Golf fell into disrepair and long since abandoned. The dumpster area doesn't have a dumpster, just 4 trash cans. Cheaper than a dumpster I guess. Walked by the cabins and peeked in, noticed how clean the windows all were. Everything is clean. But maintenance is neglected. Picnic tables are weather worn and peeling. Broken screens on cabins. Door to sink room broken. Some outside lights don't work and looks like copper has been stolen from some street lights. The place was mostly deserted, we were on the north side which is water/electric only and by morning there were just 3 occupied sites out of 6 entire rows. The full hook-up sites on the south side were fuller but there were still 4 empty rows. Maybe the place is more seasonal. Place is located behind the Red Garter Casino but is very quiet. There is a 'Night Watchman' booth at the entrance but it is abandoned. There is a yellow KOA standard sign on the wall with the phone number to the manager but it is so old that it doesn't have the area code. Not even sure if you could dial 7-digits and have a call connect? Went into the office once the clerk came back and got officially checked in. All the coolers and freezers in the store are empty and un-plugged. Very little for sale in the store. Again, maybe they are more seasonal. A young couple who were car camping came in and asked how much it was for just a shower and how much for a tent-site. $10 for a shower, $40 for a tent site. I almost invited them to pay for an extra vehicle and stay in our site but they left before I was done checking in. I felt bad for them. This place was only ever 20% occupied. I'd have given them a tent site with showers for $20 if I were that clerk. Adjacent to the park on the south side is another section of trailers and mobile homes for permanent residents. To be able to use the dump site you have to drive out via the in-lane. Then you have to go past the abandoned night watchman shack to turn around and drive back in via the out-lane. And whoever does maintenance is un-skilled. I saw several sidewalks with plumbing running on top of the original sidewalk and then more concrete slathered on top of that so that you don't trip on the pipes. Who does that?

Spring 2024 - My husband and I spent a few days at the Wendover KOA in early spring, so the park wasn't bustling with activity. While we didn't utilize many of the amenities on offer, we found it to be quiet with average interior roads and access easy to navigate, albeit showing signs of wear typical of many KOAs. Our AT&T cell service worked great.

We arrived after the office had closed. But after reading the reviews I wanted to meet the manager or owners. I met Lucy the manager. There was not many campers buy she had placed our camping spot with a space btwn us and the other camper, that was very considerate of her. Showers very clean and the water pressure was great. I give this spot a thumbs up! 👍
