We stayed in basic cabin. Seven cabins lined up facing each other with courtyard in center. One fire pit for 7 cabins? No WiFi. Have to use hotspot inside main building. Staff very friendly and store is open 8-8. There needs to be a toilet in the cabin “village” Too far to walk through dark RV parking lot to get to building. When I raised concerns I was told this is only a stopover campgroun

Loved staying here. My only thing is that the bathrooms were so far away from the dry cabins, especially felt the distance in the middle of the night.

We stayed in the cabins . It was along ways away annd when I got there I found one sheet of tolet paper and no paper towels. The cabin was the same as always clean and it just worked .

We stayed in a cabin. It was nice and clean. It had both heat and ac. They were Very clear that the cabin had no facilities. Parking was confusing. Bathrooms were clean. Showers were well-worn but hot. Picnic table needed to be replaced. Great stay if you like gambling.

Great as always. I recommend replacing window frame in back of K6. It has been warped for years and leaves a big gap for hot/cold air exchange.

Clean cabin. Clean restrooms. Amenities are limited compared to other koa’s (no tv, coffee, limited items available in shop) but very friendly staff very clean snd really nice showers.

Excellent customer service. The facility is in a high desert so there are few shade trees, lots of dirt, and it took 3 hours for the cabin to cool off (with A/C) enough to sleep. The restrooms are relatively far from the cabins. If it’s hot, I suggest a motel. If it’s not hot, the cabins are arranged around a central fire pit, have new picnic tables, and the front doors open into a car free ar

I love how close this is to all of the action that wendover has to offer, yet it was very quiet while we were there. You can easily walk to all of the casinos and fast food places. The pool was super nice! We had a great weekend!

I am giving this 3 because of the cabin area. Other than that the park is great for an overnight stay. The cabin courtyard area is completely overgrown with weeds and full of goat heads. You can’t walk out there without picking up goat heads in your shoes much less letting the dogs walk out there just to go out the front door of cabin. Staff are wonderful and bathrooms were very clean.

Very good park. The only thing I would Chang iis that the cabins and tents are the furthest sites from the restrooms. These are the people who are less likely to have access to those facilities.

Easy to get to KOA. Very easy check in, camp staff was helpful in answering any questions. Location of cabins, wifi info, showers/bathroom code etc. Having a grill at cabin was plus as used it for cooking.

We stayed in one of their cabins for a one night layover. Every thing in the camgrywas clean, neat and organized well. The cabin was spotless. Great stay .

Quiet place, but was an early May visit. Casino and food close by. Cabins are clean and comfortable. Ac works well. I would like to see more outlets.’ A fair bit walk to bathroom/showers but acceptable. Wind and dust, and storms play havoc with being outside in the late afternoons. Manager connected with me in route to make sure she was there for my arrival. Very much appreciated that.

The park has always been nice, very friendly staff and never had an issue until this visit. Loud explosion all night somewhere in town. Shook cabin it was so loud. Had driven all day and was looking for rest. Got no sleep as the explosions happened about every 30 minutes all night long. Finally just got up and hit the road since we couldn’t sleep. Very disappointed as we didn’t get any sleep.

We did a late check-in but everything I needed was on the door to the office plus I was phoned the day before with all the needed info. The cabin heater was on and the cabin was clean and toasty. Restrooms and showers were clean and spacious. We also did an early checkout and left the key in the night drop. Even though the stay was short, I hope I can make a return trip.

The place sucks. Smelled like heavy insecticide. Made me ill. Cockroaches and fleas in cabin Entire grounds covered with broken glass'!! The washrooms were clean, the only good thing. I wii try to get a refund from KOA inc.

Serves its purpose. Clean bathrooms. Cabin allowed dogs but not cleaned (I don’t have white dogs but there was white fur everywhere). Goatheads everywhere. A LOT of foot traffic so thankful for the cabin. Didn’t like that the men/women showers had no dividers.

This was one of the cleanest KOAs I've stayed at, from the Kamping Kabin to the restroom. The manager was extremely helpful when I arrived late, after store hours. She had left my key for me and even called me back to ensure I located the Kabin okay. She was VERY helpful!!! THANK YOU!!!

There were tons of flies, the fence they had by the playground was wire and had no lights so my child got hurt on it. The bathrooms are so far from the cabins it made it ridiculous, we will get a room at a casino next time.

This was our 2nd stay here in the past 7 weeks. We thoroughly enjoy the basic cabins. They were very clean and nice. Our only negative is that the bathroom is a little far away otherwise we enjoyed our stay.

At $51 for water/electric only, it is severely overpriced. Got there at 3:22 and the office was closed, note on door said back at 4pm. Clerk came back at 3:55. We found our site assignment on the door and went and parked. Decided to unhook because it was easier than getting out several stacks of levelers to raise the back. Did two loads of laundry, $3 per load, very reasonable. All machines were working. Washers are newer. Dryers are like from the 1970's but still work! Bathrooms screamed 1970's but were clean and everything was working, though all the drain stoppers had been removed. Showers were clean and did get hot, but be careful because the water gets scalding. Recreation room locked up and just being used for storage. Pool closed for season. Mini-Golf fell into disrepair and long since abandoned. The dumpster area doesn't have a dumpster, just 4 trash cans. Cheaper than a dumpster I guess. Walked by the cabins and peeked in, noticed how clean the windows all were. Everything is clean. But maintenance is neglected. Picnic tables are weather worn and peeling. Broken screens on cabins. Door to sink room broken. Some outside lights don't work and looks like copper has been stolen from some street lights. The place was mostly deserted, we were on the north side which is water/electric only and by morning there were just 3 occupied sites out of 6 entire rows. The full hook-up sites on the south side were fuller but there were still 4 empty rows. Maybe the place is more seasonal. Place is located behind the Red Garter Casino but is very quiet. There is a 'Night Watchman' booth at the entrance but it is abandoned. There is a yellow KOA standard sign on the wall with the phone number to the manager but it is so old that it doesn't have the area code. Not even sure if you could dial 7-digits and have a call connect? Went into the office once the clerk came back and got officially checked in. All the coolers and freezers in the store are empty and un-plugged. Very little for sale in the store. Again, maybe they are more seasonal. A young couple who were car camping came in and asked how much it was for just a shower and how much for a tent-site. $10 for a shower, $40 for a tent site. I almost invited them to pay for an extra vehicle and stay in our site but they left before I was done checking in. I felt bad for them. This place was only ever 20% occupied. I'd have given them a tent site with showers for $20 if I were that clerk. Adjacent to the park on the south side is another section of trailers and mobile homes for permanent residents. To be able to use the dump site you have to drive out via the in-lane. Then you have to go past the abandoned night watchman shack to turn around and drive back in via the out-lane. And whoever does maintenance is un-skilled. I saw several sidewalks with plumbing running on top of the original sidewalk and then more concrete slathered on top of that so that you don't trip on the pipes. Who does that?

Spring 2024 - My husband and I spent a few days at the Wendover KOA in early spring, so the park wasn't bustling with activity. While we didn't utilize many of the amenities on offer, we found it to be quiet with average interior roads and access easy to navigate, albeit showing signs of wear typical of many KOAs. Our AT&T cell service worked great.

We arrived after the office had closed. But after reading the reviews I wanted to meet the manager or owners. I met Lucy the manager. There was not many campers buy she had placed our camping spot with a space btwn us and the other camper, that was very considerate of her. Showers very clean and the water pressure was great. I give this spot a thumbs up! 👍
