Meet Your Hosts
Keith is passionate about wanting the Virginia Beach KOA to give you a get-away from life…a place for you to relax and re-energize - where you can leave your worries and your to-do list behind. He hopes this will be a place where you can build positive, lasting memories with your family, and be a “home base” while you enjoy all that Virginia Beach has to offer. He wants your experience at Virginia Beach KOA to be so great that you can’t wait to tell your friends and family about it!
Keith, his wife, and two teenage children come from Wisconsin, where they managed a campground for several years. In their spare time, they like to visit Virginia tourist sites, just like everyone else! Keith also enjoys weightlifting and football.
No matter where he lives, he will always be a Green Bay Packer fan and a “Cheesehead” at heart.

April 6-8 | Easter Weekend
Celebrate this special weekend with crafts and an Easter Egg hunt for the kids. On Sunday, enjoy an extra-late check-out time and join us for Easter lunch.
May 4-6 | DIGS Volleyball Tournament
Volleyball players and fans take over the campground this weekend!
May 11-13 | Come Kamp and Care/Mother’s Day
Pay for one night of camping on May 11 and get May 12 FREE! Proceeds support KOA’s Care Kamps for children with cancer. Moms, enjoy free goodies in celebration of your special day! Kids, make a special gift for Mom!
May 18-20 | 1st Annual Home Educators Appreciation / Armed Forces Day Appreciation
Virginia Beach KOA loves military families and, being home educators ourselves, we love homeschoolers too! Since you both make many sacrifices, we want to honor you by giving you a get-away weekend… with special prices, plenty of fun for all ages, goodies and prizes, and a chance to build some great family memories. Head north on General Booth only 2.5 miles and you'll be at the famous and fabulous Virginia Beach oceanfront and boardwalk! Take it easy and take the trolley, which runs right from KOA to the beach Memorial thru Labor Day, or ride your bike all the way on the local bike path! Bike rentals also available at the beach.
Want a beach that's just as beautiful but more quaint? Head south 10 miles to Sandbridge Beach. Then there's Chix Beach on the Chesapeake Bay for another experience, or other local beaches our staff will be happy to tell you about.

You’ll find one of the country’s best aquariums and live animal habitats at the Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Center. Cape Henry Lighthouses
The Old Cape Henry Lighthouse has stood watch over the Chesapeake Bay since 1792. A second lighthouse, built in 1881, also stands within view. Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel
While in Virginia Beach, you won't want to miss taking a drive on (and through) the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel. Nauticus/Battleship Wisconsin

In response to camper requests, Virginia Beach KOA has now installed cable TV in all Deluxe Cabins and full hook-up campsites! You'll find a wide variety of channels, along with a special "Virginia Beach KOA" channel dedicated to giving you current information about events going on at the campground and down at the Oceanfront.
