Sea World

Sea World, a 100 acre marine life park located on beautiful Mission Bay, is a must see. There are seven exciting shows and numerous exhibits, including Shamu, the 3-ton killer whale, all included in one admission price. Discount tickets are on sale in the KOA office.

Tijuana, Mexico

Imagine only 8 miles to another country and culture! From viewing the rich Mexican heritage at the Cultural Center or bartering in the open air shops to savoring the excellent cuisine or nightlife - Tijuana is a city for exploring. Take the Trolley to the border! Trolley station is located only 2 miles away.

Old Town State Park

Old Town San Diego boasts some of the finest restaurants in the area plus a variety of shops nestled in a Spanish setting at the foot of Presidio Park. History abounds! Discount tickets are available in the KOA office for Old Town trolley tour.

Balboa Park

Point Loma, Cabrillo National Monument

A breathtaking view of San Diego Harbor, Coronado, Mexico and the coastline is yours from Point Loma. The 100-year old lighthouse as well as films on marine life and the man Cabrillo are free to the public daily.

Palomar Observatory

Housing the United States’ largest telescope, the observatory is located atop Palomar Mountain.
