Absolutely beautiful,ell maintained park! Currently decorated for Christmas. Lots of amenities and daily activities for both adults and children.

4th year coming for Halloween. Lots of improvements over last year. Happy you introduced the costume parade again. The host is a very lively person, but she is a bit too over the top and we think toning down the theatrics during voting would be worth considering. The Sat. 7am line for securing next year reservations is a little unfair with some holding places for people & submitting 10+ requests.

The check in was smooth with great customer service. The campground employees were helpful and polite. The campground overall was clean. The wifi was not so great; probably maybe due to a full campground of campers.

This campground is perfect in almost every way. We very much enjoyed our stay, but the wifi is less than perfect. I realize with many people staying that the internet would be slower, but at times it was unusable with frequent disconnects. Hence the 4 and bit 5 star review. We plan to return and hope there will be some significant improvements to the wifi before then. Thank you.

The place is very family oriented very clean an just great to stay however you prefer. One thing that I'll point out, I booked long time ago and I didn't like my camping spot as far as space and options, I wish I can get an option on the spot before arriving. Other than that this place is amazing and fun.

I would LOVE the ability to select exact sites. That's the biggest drawback. We were across the park from our friends we were camping with. We also missed not having a "movie under the stars." The magician was great! Not a fan of the very expensive beach treasure dig. It seemed like there were less activities than in the past.

Staff was very polite and courteous. Every event was executed very well and our family had a great time. Facilities were also clean which is very important. Will be staying here again.

We had a wonderful time. Our campsite was cozy and within reach to many amenities. Many activities kept the kids very entertained, especially the magic show. We can't wait to return.

Clean, family oriented, nice paved sites. Looking forward to next visit. Quite possibly the best Rv campground we’ve been in since RVing every month for the last 4 years.

Enjoyed the spot we had. Did have issue with distance between trees interfered with awning, had to angle trailer and that made spot impossible to park truck in without being on grass a bit. Didnt get to use pool but looked nice and well maintained. Hopefully i wont have to visit cali ever again but if i had to i would stay here again.

We are a frequent guest as spend a week a month in the area for a client I have found staff to be super, friendly, engaging, . This includes office's, ground personnel to security. Would like to share more but I type slow. The legacy of this park represents far more the a KOA, culture, care, service, a bound, multigenerationals working and learning together 520 720 0077

We absolutely loved this RV park. It was so nice and quiet and had everything you need. It even has a little cafe on site and a store that has everything. It is close but not too close to everything in San Diego!!

Stayed the week after halloween . The KOA still had all the decorations and fun stuff to do. Costume parades, contests and pumpkin patch with carving. Had a great time at a very clean place. The pool was open and with a temperature of 82 degrees. Already to go again next year.

We were with a camping group of 13 RVs most of whom had been there before but 3 who had not. Sat. PM there was a live band transported on a flatbed trailer playing loud music until 10 PM. Several of our group were most upset that it was so loud and so late, and phoned us and the ofc. for help. None to be found. There was also some heavy pot smoking at our end of the park. All in all not pleasant.

Four nights total in RV were very nice, with the activity level definitely picking up for the weekend. I enjoyed everything from the pool, bouncy pillows and store with my young grand daughter to spending relaxing time with adults under the trees with great weather.

Fun for both kids and adults. Activities are well planned and coordinated making the stay as easy as Sunday morning.

The staff were very helpful & friendly. The kids in our group had a great time due to all of the activities that were available to them. The grounds were kept clean. I will definitely come again.

We have been camping from tents, tent trailer and now an RV for more than 40 years and this is the first KOA Campground we have ever visited. KOA was recommended by a friend and San Diego Metro exceeded our expectations. We visited during the Halloween Celebration and took our grand kids, 6 and 10 yrs old. They had a blast! There are so many free activities included in the reservation!

The sports are one of our kids favorites. Whiffle ball or flag football. They look forward to those activities and the sports team does such a great job with the kids. It is one of the reasons our kids favorite camping place is KOA Chula Vista.

Amazing grounds, great staff. If you’re looking for a relaxing weekend, this should be it. But campground was extremely noisy with several campers blasting music above considerate levels.

Check in lady was very helpful. Had trouble with the cable connection and man they sent over to check it out was very helpful. He could not fix the problem did his best to try. All you can ask.

We arrived to find out our site was smaller than we felt comfortable pulling into with our fifth wheel. The manager, Ramone gave us an upgraded pull through site to make our stay more enjoyable! A+ customer service! The campground was beautiful and there were so many amenities available! I would only add a spa tub would be a great addition! It was close to explore San Diego too!

We arrived October 28. There was a Halloween event starting. We thought that we were in for an intolerable and disturbing night. We left for dinner and arrived home to roadways and campsites filled with celebrations. We met Andy, the GM who assured us of a quiet evening. Boy were we surprised. By 9:30 it got quite, by 10:00 it was silent. Thank you to Andy and all staff who Managed the night.

I always fill up our gas tanks here. They have great prices and friendly staff. Never actually stayed at their beautiful establishment but I plan to in the future.

I've seen this place for years and watched it grow into a great place for campers, RV'ers, and travelers of all kind. They have plenty of activity for guests. Full size cabins, or tent size cabins. Places you can hook up your trailer and RV, and storage facility too. The staff is great and the fun you have is second to none. So glad my family and I can enjoy this place.

We went to San Diego Metro KOA for the first time in October 2023. We had an amazing time with Bobbi leading the Halloween activities. The bathrooms in the common areas were always clean. We saw Alicia cleaning repeatedly and she always had a smile on her face. Thank you!!!
