Local Area Attractions
The Park-to-Park Trail is truly a regional incentive. Connecting Killbear Provincial Park to Algonquin Provincial Park, this 230 km length of trail is a destination for all trail enthusiasts, such as hikers, walkers, cyclists, snowmobilers, horse back and ATV'ers. This project will ultimately produce a four-season multi-use trail system. The Seguin Recreational Trail is the main spine of the Park-to-Park Trail system and is accessed right from our property here at the KOA.
There are dozens of freshwater lakes within 10 minutes of the campground, including the world-renowned Georgian Bay. The various fish species include: small and large mouth bass, Northern Pike, Lake Trout, Pickerel, & Perch to name only a few. We have canoe rentals here at the campground, but motor boats and equipment rentals are available at marinas nearby.
We pride ourselves for our craft corner. Displayed in a unique setting we offer crafted gifts, candles, shirts, jackets, and toys etc. that are sure to please for gift giving and also your pocket book.
Camping Cabins- 1 and 2-room
Our exclusive 1 and 2-room camping cabins make your camping experience a safe, simple and economical choice. Our "cozy' cabins are built from both pine and cedar logs equipped with small fridges + the standard features and are all situated close to our main washroom facilities. Planning a reunion and facing the possibility of some invitees that may not have a RV of their own? Reserving your next reunion at our KOA would solve that issue. We have cabins and sites that are all together so your group can camp close to each other for your planned get-together.
