Summer Fun
Whether you're hanging out on our playground or playing sports, our recreational specialists the Summershiners bring fun to your vacation. Seasonal activities & events run on weekdays from the end of June through the middle of August and on the weekends from Memorial Day to Columbus Day.
Outdoor pools
Cool off after a long day of touring all that the area has to offer in our heated swimming pools (one is just right for small children), available from mid-May to mid-September.
Interactive Dog Park
At KOA, we strive to offer something for every member of your family, which is why we're pleased to offer an interactive dog park! Lose the leash and let your dog run across manicured lawns within our fenced playland designed exclusively for canines!
KOA Campfire Time
Campfire time promises all the classics: toasting marshmallows, eating s'mores, belting out camp tunes, and even swap a scary story or two! Also join us for interactive live entertainment at the Campfire Theatre, including talent shows, slapstick, game show re-creations, and more!

Three days of non-stop fun for all! Enjoy pool games or just relaxing at poolside. Outdoor Movie & Bingo Friday night, Ice Cream and Karaoke,Talent Show Sunday night - Pancake Breakfast ($) Sunday morning. DJ Saturday night. Crafts, tie-dye t-shirts ($), hayride. Catch and release fishing in the ponds. WE WILL HAVE A YARD SALE ON SATURDAY - PROCEEDS TO CANCER CAMP FOR KIDS. You may donate your gently used items or pick up a "treasure" for yourself.
May 31 - June 2 Country Rock "n" BBQ
Welcome back to our Seasonals! Catered Dinner (open to all) and music by Blue Collar Project Saturday night. Hayrides, bingo, movie, crafts, and tons of fun throughout the weekend!! Pancake Breakfast ($) Sunday morning.
June 14-16 Father's Day Weekend
This weekend is dedicated to those special guys called "Dad". Challenge him to ping pong, basketball, horseshoes, mini golf or shuffleboard. Rent some banana bikes ($) and have a race! See who can catch the biggest fish in the pond. Make a special gift for Dad at craft time. Pancake breakfast ($) Sunday, Dads eat FREE with family! Outdoor movie and Bingo Friday night....many activities throughout the weekend!
June 28 - July 7 Independence Day Celebration
Double the fun for this 10 day celebration of America's birth! Two weekends of great activities featuring prizes for best decorated site and best decked out bike in the parade on the 4th. Outdoor Movies on the BIG screen and Bingo($) Friday nights, Ice cream socials ($) DJ Neil Roma on July,4th at poolside. There will be watermelon eating contests, hayrides, tie-dye shirts ($), crafts, Pancake breakfast ($) Sunday mornings.....and more.
July 19-21 Water Wars Weekend I
Bring your biggest water pistols, super soakers, water bombs & balloons for this event. We'll start with some pool games and then hours of soaking fun on Saturday afternoon ending with the Super Soaker Hayride. BE PREPARED TO GET WET! Outdoor Movie on the BIG screen & BINGO($) Friday night. Bonfire Saturday night to dry you off - we'll supply the S'mores! Book early - this is one of the most popular weekends in summer! Managers of KOA Kampgrounds come from all walks of life: some are born into campground families, some arrive on parks as a profession after being in the corporate world, and some are avid campers that are interested in the camping lifestyle. John and Linda have a bit of it all! As prior KOA Inspectors, managers of KOA campgrounds, and campground owners for the past 17 years, they feel all of their guests are VIPs.John and Linda are back in Mystic and looking forward to seeing old friends and making new friends. John and Linda were recognized as the 2011 KOA Company-Owned Property Managers of the Year.
"This award was a great honor," says Linda, "but must be shared with the talented and caring staff that worked with us. A strong team, focused on the guest, is always a winning combination."
When not at the park, John and Linda love to travel, camp and golf--with their dog Rocky in tow.
