Friendly staff , clean campgrounds , for drinking water put new filter in for 2 week stay it was black at the end of stay !

Could it be your filter was old and needed to be replaced? We only ask because the campground is on city water.

Loved your KOA, The grounds are well maintained, great pool, the young lady that does the activities is off the charts she is the best, really enjoyed the wagon ride to the plantation, we walked the trails, took the dogs to the dog park where they can get into the water of the lake, garbage pick up we would put a bag out and within minutes it would be picked up. Wish I had more space to comment

This was our first ever KOA camping trip. We had stayed at many other types of campgrounds, but this was a very special trip. This location exceeded our expectations!

The campground was super clean, the staff was nice, helpful and friendly. Seeing the wildlife was very memorable. Recommend some TLC to site 17, with all the rain the mud never dried during our short stay. That is the only suggestion we have. We will definitely return to camp at Mount Pleasant / Charleston KOA.

Everyone was friendly and the staff accommodated us with a smile and great conversation. There were several activities for ALL ages and the grounds are kept meticulously clean.

The location is great and our site was pleasant. What is disappointing is the rate for a day pass ($9 when a friend visited for 2 hours). This campground is more expensive than other KOAs that we've stayed at from coast to coast and from north to south. This has reduced our stay each time we return to Mt. Pleasant.

Stayed on site #63 by the water for 5 nights first week of August and it was the best KOA we have ever stayed at. The grounds are clean, well kept and the added flowers around the campground add a nice touch. The owners and workers are very friendly and make you feel like they are there to make your stay memorable. Umbrellas on the new site tables would be helpful from the sun when eating outside.

Friendly , helpful staff, very accommodating and location was great for our adventurers. Would have been nice to have a block of shower rooms and toilets to the back of the camp ground and we were a little disappointed there was no functional splash pad/park -otherwise a great stay !

This was our first stay at a KOA and it went great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Everything we could possibly need was provided or available for purchase. We will definitely be staying at KOA’s again in the near future. If I could make one recommendation it would be that making air available for adjusting truck/camper tires would be the cherry on top. Very happy customer here!

The staff was amazing and super friendly! The kids had so much fun with the Harry Potter birthday party and we were taken by with all the back to school supplies. Hands down best weekend even though it rained a lot and our camper got damaged.

This Campground was amazing it had all kinds of little nooks that you didn't see from just driving through a kids play area tent Site Area picnic area definitely will come back here

We stayed there 6 days. The property is immaculate, they constantly having workers on golf carts maintaining the property. To insure great internet, they provided a router to any camper who asked, free for good streaming. The only possible negative is the gravel sites, but they are level. We had a great stay!!

As always all the staff were super nice. We had trouble with our electrical box and the maintenance man came and stayed until he got us squared away. He gave us the name of a guy that works on RV's but the maintenance man had it fixed before the repair called back. We always enjoy our stay at Mt. Pleasant.

While we only stayed overnight, the campground looked very nice, the staff was friendly and helpful, and there were many amenities.

Great location in the Cahrelston area, 15 min from downtown. Long RV spots plenty for large campers and tow vehicles, or big class A RVs and runabout cars. Large catch and release fishing lake, and long nature trail that offers cool views as it winds through part of a swamp. Best to get a site with a cenemt pad, otherwise your sitting in sand and tracking it in your RV. Friendly staff and trash service. -5G is a bit slow -Did not use campsite WiFi -Starlink has good coverage and excellent speed.

We had the most wonderful stay here, we stayed in site 71 which is an end unit with a lake view. It is improved with a patio, wonderful seating including glider chairs and a swing right on the water. They gave us a complimentary bundle of firewood with this site. It's very quiet here and is dark with not a lot of light pollution coming in through the shades. The pool was open but it was cool so we didn't use it. the walking path along the lake was pleasant and we saw lots of turtles and water birds. It is a gated park and felt very safe. We previously stayed at a different KOA on the other side of town and we're so glad we found this place. There is a fantastic dog park with two separate areas, one has access to the water, the fencing actually extends into the water for safe playing.
