Middleton Place Middleton Place is a carefully preserved 18th-century plantation, which include America’s oldest landscaped gardens. Rare camellias, azaleas, magnolias and ancient live oaks accent a landscape design magnificent all year. Open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Admission fee charged.
